Do you have PDFs of washburn catalogs pre 1990? It would be great if they were on your website.

Love your videos, they are very informative and fun,......I had a fender floyd rose 2 made in germany by schaller in an Ibanez guitar that got stollen, sad....i allways thought that was like of an inferior quality but after it got stollen i found out, from your videos that was basically like an original,...the bridge perfomed really well,....any ways,..tnx for the upload

Neat, I have a '84 non fine tuning Floyd. I always wondered when it was from.

The non-fine tuning Floyds are a different beast with the patent stamp because it's a different patent all together. Most of them didn't have stamps on the sustain block throughout the 80s. Sometimes they are tricky to get the exact date during the Kramer 80s era, but they all have a similar look. Post Kramer is a little different, and I'm still researching it. Thanks for watching.

Man, this is great! Didn't Brad Gillis buy up all the originals? :-)

Brad likes buying a lot of the old USA FRT-1s (which are very hard to find). He doesn't play fine tuning models like the FRT-5 from what I've seen. Thanks for watching.

Cool information bro! I have a question u might know . When the Floyd rose is flush to the body can the intonation still be done without the tension plate on the Floyd ?

I believe the floyd on my ‘84 Pacer is a 1984, like you said, it doesn’t have any markings at all on the block and the saddle inserts are black and of course its got the wood screw pivots…I always wondered what was up with this trem…thanks for the info my man👍

Correct the patent stamp didn't start until 1985. So if you have a Kramer era Floyd with a patent stamp on the sustain block, it's likely 1985-1990. Thanks for watching.
