I was born with food allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, fish and sesame seeds. I can’t imagine how you must feel as a mama but trust me, that with time, it gets better. People throughout my upbringing have been surprisingly way more accommodating and understanding for my allergies than I would have expected. My family has been really supportive too and cut out all allergens from their diets my entire life. And I learned at quite a young age to adapt and learn how to keep myself safe and I am sure your baby boy will too 💛
We're dealing with the insurance nonsense right now too for our 7 month old. Why do no insurance companies cover the correct dosage for babies? We have the epipen Jr too because the one she needs is almost $800.00 Its ridiculous.
A peanut allergy can be so scary. I hope that Ted is able to be de-sensitized and that eventually he can have them or at least not have a life-threatening reaction to them
I’m gonna say this as someone with health issues who is an adult. I don’t want my medical record or my medical experiences displayed online. I’m ok to say what I have, but I share very little of my experience unless it’s with a group of people who have the same issues. I’m an adult. I understand bringing awareness to an issue, but you should have the consent of the person experiencing it. Your child is unable to give consent. You have no idea how posting your child’s medical issues on RUclips is going to affect him in the future. We have Hippa in the US for a reason.
@@mmava279 I never said it was a violation. I simply stated hippa was there for a reason, and it is. I agree with you that consideration for what experience the child will have in the future is important. I think there is this misconception that as parents we have the right to our child’s personal information. However, do we really?
Carly is sharing her experience as a mom, not as her son. A peanut allergy is common, and becoming more common. It seems more offensive for mom-vloggers to share their children's daily lives than a few that brings awareness to ways others can help minimize a child's exposure. Would you be offended if she uploaded a video on how to cross the street?

Carly! Just want to say appreciate all the content lately! 💕 We appreciate it!
My dear Carly…how frustrating and exhausting this time is for you and Cody! Poor wee Ted 😞. You are a wonderful momma. Prayers for you all.

THANK YOU
she was filming while he was in the ED in the last video.. wtf?
This is not a HIPPA violation, but I can’t comment on how it will affect the child in the future. Definitely, something to consider.
