Happy Day after Christmas! Can you believe we survived? Around my house, we do not work on Christmas Day. That means there are piles of boxes, ribbons, and gifts spread everywhere. I like to ease back into my cleaning schedule so today I am just taking care of the piles and doing my morning routine. The rest of the day depends on exactly how tired I am. Christmas takes a lot out of me with crazy cleaning, shopping, wrapping, and then being on my feet all morning cooking on Christmas Day. The goal for today is to just prep the house for real cleaning tomorrow.
How was your Christmas? Are you as tired as I am?
Praise God for the Roomba! I love that little thing. Oh, don't forget I have the free printable at TodaywithTerriK.com if you want to join in on the Baby Step Bootcamp starting Jan 1st! I hope to be un-decorating with you before the end of the year, so I will see you then!

I love that you say “go to town”, we live 10 minutes from “town”, but still feel like we live in the country. My friends who live in bigger surrounding towns make fun of me for saying that I have to run “to town”. lol

Some things are just ingrained. My hubby hates that I go "down" to my Mom's who is in KY when we live in TN. It's just an expression in my family and not a technical direction. Country slang is hard to lose.

Happy day after! We had a little family emergency yesterday, so it was a no frills day, just taking things easy and being on stand by. Everyone's OK...just some Personal things going on. So, today, I'm taking my time through my morning routine, and letting myself get all my morning stuff done at a slow
Pace. This afternoon, I will so a little catchup on zone cleaning, but not going to go crazy over it. Whatever doesn't get done in focused cleaning, can wait till I'm back in thst zone next week. As long as my dailies get done, that's fine.
FYI, my getting dressed is super easy...Bern doing it for years. I stopped wearing makeup over a decade ago. I just feel like I want people to see my real face, but that's me. And I change outfits maybe every couple of days. But my current outfit gets hung up on a hook on my bathroom door at night after I change for bed. And the next morning, when I get dressed, I hang my pj's on thst same hook, unless they need to go in the dirty hamper. Same with my outfit if I need a fresh one. Then, I just put a new set on the hook. There's no forgetting to set out my clothes the night before. It seriously takes me maybe 10 ,instead on average to get dressed when I wake up, so I have no excuses lol.

So happy everyone is ok! I’m moving slow and steady through my day as well. Also brainstorming my 2024 goals as I go. I love a fresh start.

@TodaywithTerriK I so to! I just don't Calle then New Yeaes Rwaolutions. That term always comes with the idea of have to reach those goals and feeling bad if tgey don't get reached by next year lol. I just consider them as a fresh start...a chance to work towards new goals or goals that maybe I'd put off. Actually, I always feel like the furst of spring is a new year. That's when nature comes back to life fresh and new and I get that spring fever and that's when inspiration is at its highest for ne.

Making myself not watch another video bc I promised myself I’d work on paperwork. Tuesday is “Dust & Desk Day” for me. I will tackle desk items first bc the paperwork is far more important & also far more likely to be skipped bc I’d rather do anything else! 😀 Cheers!

Thanks for watching. I do paperwork while having tv time with the hubs. He ❤️’s Sanford & sons and I get bored.

@@TodaywithTerriK I really did stop watching. 😂 But my screen brightened up with your message when I walked by, so I stopped to read your comment. The stuff I have to do requires quiet & thought, so no sideshows for me. I watch YT with my earphones in while my husband watches football. I’d rather stick a fork in my eye than even listen to that background noise! 🤪🤣😂
