I support these proposed taxed reformed bill,.. Northerners keep destroying alcoholic beverages and still want to enjoy the VAT from alcoholic sells from other regions of the country.....

@@BeeSpace-zr8zj To the best of my Knowledge, the new bill is proposing for VAT to be paid to HQ which makes no sense. Automatically most of the companies have their HQ located in Lagos even when there main source of funds is not Lagos.

The proposed VAT derivation rule is actually fair and takes cognizance of location of consumption and not headquarters... however I recommend political solution rather than throwing the Bills which have numerous benefits including reduction of tax burden and streamlining tax administration...

You're on point. There are more pros than cons on the bill. The North is selfish and unreasonable when blocking this bill. They should go through and constructively engaged with the president not always opposing everything.

Deregulated economy is what we keep hearing today while your currency is dying and your economy is tanking. Nigeria has no business importing one barrel of refined oil. How this country will even be granting import permit to oil marketers when a refinery as huge as Dangote’s has come on stream is beyond reason. The blame can only be on Tinubu, if he had Nigeria at heart and not his cabals of renters this macabre dance would have been over by now.
