Restoring Our Shorelines

CRWP partnered with Dr. Kurt Kowalski, a staff member at U.S. Geological Survey and Research Ecologist at the Great Lakes Science Center, as part of our Speaker Series to bring you a free online presentation covering an assessment on the feasibility of restoring coastal wetlands in the Great Lakes. His presentation highlights the Western Lake Erie Basin which has been the focus of recent state government efforts in wetland restoration. He also discusses the decision support tools that he and his colleagues at the U.S. Geological Survey developed for the western basin of Lake Erie and other part of the Great Lakes.
