I'm guessing pitching tent by trees provides wind buffer..is there a reason you didn't park truck along another side as a buffer also
Hi, really enjoy your single trips in winter time when you are in snow and hope that you will have more of those videos coming. I faced that you are not useing your french press for coffee anymore and you are not grinding the beans by yourself. I enjoyed the way you prepared it before as I´m doing it the same and therfore my gentle hint "don´t get too much comfortable in future" 😎
Oh I love that tent, it's BIG and it has a floor!!💖🥰 Maybe get a rug for inside of the door to help catch stuff coming in. Also if you had an outdoor rug inside the tent would that keep the extended cot legs from poking holes in the floor? I watch a lot of camping vids from Korea, Japan and Turkey and they have all have wood stoves. I think they must have watched you. You're the best and and I always enjoy watching your adventures. A bit of "Glamping" never harmed anyone! A quick couple of tips on the espresso maker. 1. Try adding warm / hot water, it cuts the time in which it boils and also reduces the potential for a bitter brew. Also use an espresso grade coffee. Finer ground and deeper in flavour. Awesome hour of escapism for viewers, looking forward to the next one.
That’s all very well but where in the middle of a frozen forest will you get warm water from,surely you’d have to boil it first
@@sidwallace6053 I use a titanium cup filled with water to boil, as it cools I charge up a mokka pot and fill with the just boiled water, and place it back on the same heat source. Sterilises my cup and cuts down the coffee brew time. When I "glamp" I have a stainless steel jacket around the stove flue filled with water which I draw water from. Handy for washing up too.

The 9Barista is great , but produces no more than about 40g of thick, syrupy espresso. And to get that, you have to be very precise about the amount of ground coffee, the fineness of the grind, and the amount of water. Looks like you had a bit of trouble.
Could you please tell me where to find the light you use that has the adjustable arms. In the last "hot truck" video you had them hanging from the topper and in this video it's hanging in the tent.

That tent is nicely designed. Looks like it would resist wind very well. About the heat channel...would a fan hung from the ceiling help push heat down to the floor? Your videos are always top notch. This was no exception.
