I used the palamides machine my old job,didn't see the point in that machine, it didn't knock them up properly, plus yhad to spend few seconds ripping the cardboard belt off the books.
@@seamusogradius6263 Yeah they can be temperamental, but if too many people are setting it things get broken or stop working properly. We had one serviced recently and afterwards it ran perfectly..

Encouraging to see the return of the old style sidelay (balls as opposed to the suction belt method). If it's not broke don't fix it!
I've had to replace the belt going on 4 times in 7 years!
important is the prisma register table wich guide the sheet perfectly. No matter there are marbles or suction belt.
