But if someone doesn't care for 16x9, PSP, some Wii, Switch or Android gaming, then the Retroid Mini is a great option. 🍻
2 things. You are using and outdated playstation 2 emulator. All of retroids emulators out of the box are outdated. You can turn down the joystick LEDS. That's what the large field was next to the color slider. Your performance experience was inaccurate. It can do more ps2 with the right emulator.
This is why I have a hard time watching RetroDodo, it's unfortunately a pattern on how these reviews go and we have some many other channels now that don't do this. Still, it's one of the OG channels for this, so I tune in once in a while and do like more of a critique on things that MIGHT be a problem vs just getting all positives.
Disagree on covering the screws. Leaving them exposed is better for repairability. Fair enough on requesting them be black, but considering there are different color versions, I doubt they would go out of their way to get black screws just for the black devices.
I'd say the power argument makes sense when you dock this thing. That way you get the ability to play things like PS2 and GameCube on a larger TV that makes more sense.
This for me is the perfect mini handheld. I have a steamdeck OLED and a PC so this is a perfect companion to that. The only three gaming device I need.
It's not overpowered at all. This is perfect if you want a handheld that does it all with some extra power to get the best of all emulators, shaders, some android games, hdmi out upscale, also having ps vita in mind and 3ds which are harder to emulate in a handheld console factor which is truly pocketable. I think this is a very awesome console and the size is acceptable given it is a "mini" and it is exactly what I expect it to be. I had a pocket go by bittboy, now that one was small, but still very fun and I enjoyed the heck of it, even more so because it is small, and for me the pocket go was underpowered lol. I would have loved playing ps1 smoothly on it. I wouldn't mind playing some game cube and ps2 games on this smaller screen. I think once the price will drop a bit, which should happen soon enough (in 3-6 months) it will be quite worth it.
Yes. High Performance mode, in AetherSX2 using Vulkan at 1X resolution with "out of the box" settings. I saw very minor signs of struggle in moments in NFS:MW. Maybe Russ dove into the settings and tweaked a bunch of stuff? I review these for an average consumers perspective, no doubt some are happy to spend time tinkering, testing, removing settings, downloading other emulators and trying to squeeze a extra few frames out of it, but that ain't me. I want to pick up and play with very minor setup.
@@RetroDodo the game itself is unoptimized mess. Unless you have a super beefy computer to brute force the extra power, the game is going to struggle. Even on the GameCube it does the same. Frame rate stays pretty locked to 30 on my counter but the frame pacing is all over the damn place
@@RetroDodo Russ said in another comment "For NFSMW I needed to make some adjustments to blending accuracy (minimum) and texture preloading, and dropped it down to native resolution, but after that it played at full speed (NSTC version, so 60fps) without having to resort to underclocking." I personally believe this is an enthusiast product in an already fairly niche hobby, so making a few minor adjustments to settings seems reasonable.
It is an upgrade from the 2S. When you upgrade a device, you're supposed to do more than update the externals. I think people looking to buy this, want a mini device. The problems with the miyoos and devices like that are they feel cheap, have crappy displays, and are very limited because of the CPUs. OLED just enhances the gaming experience. Also with a decent chip, you can dock this and upscale some of the content. Having something mobile like this, with the ergonomics, beautiful display, and decent CPU will go a long way. This device is in it's own lane. If i wanted something as big as the RP5, Id the Odin 2 mini.
Imagine this but with a rotatable screen. Like you wanna play some DS , vertical arcade or even Neo Geo Pocket flip it tall. Everything else flip it wide. Would be neat. Or even just this with a square screen
4:13 - you mention no brightness settings, that’s what the shade slider on the left is for!! The further you go toward black the less bright the rgb stick output
Really don't agree the power take there. The whole appeal I see with the mini is that its a mini 4:3 version of the RP5. Most people I know don't want just RP2S Plus. Making it weaker / cheaper to fit that would defeat the whole point imo.
Fair, and i'm not saying you are wrong, it's all personal preference at the end of the day, but for me, PS2, PSP and GC isn't comfortable on a 3.7" display, my neck will soon look like a Wotsit and my eyes will bleed.
@Billy_naing I agree. As much as my Steam Deck Oled is my ultimate couch retro device, it just isn’t something you put in the inner pocket of your jacket to take with you. It’s why I absolutely LOVE my Miyoo Mini Plus. The RP Mini is a pocketable powerhouse and thus to me, very compelling.
I'd pay that extra $110! There isn't a great selection of small+premium handhelds out there. Usually if you want a premium build, then you need to go for a larger handheld. Small and 4:3 is ideal for the types of games that I want this for.
I dont think the mini should "replace" the pocket 2s i Love the fact that they consider making a mini version with the new handhelds coming out now in order to cater to the 4:3 Lovers. But if anything it should be seen as an upgrade or a choice for more powerful hardware if u want, which it is, its double the price and its actually 8x as better relating to the raw power than the rp2s. And dont forget when it released it was $120 if u wanted the better version. So its even less than double the price
"Up to PS2" is a low-research statement. Beetle Saturn is harder to run than NetherSX2. That said I fully respect that you won't claim it plays PS2 when it won't play all PS2 games. That is a standard more people should aspire to. NOTE for people who don't understand context: "all PS2" 'in this context' means anything an emulator can run. It means the bottleneck is the hardware, and not the emulator.
It "works", and some PS2 games will, but i hit hiccups on the larger games, so im not going to come out and say it works flawlessly, because I haven't seen that, and i'd hate for you to buy it for PS2 games and find out you can't play all of your library as well as you wished.
Im pretty sure something went wrong when he set it up, im able to run games like metal gear solid and sly cooper on the retroid pocket 2s and this is 8x more powerful so its questionable

Good to see you again Retro Dodo... hang in there buddy
Why do you think the screen is too small for GamEcube and ps2 but on the other hand comfortable for ps1? I don't get that. For those 3 systems I consider you need or want the same screen size.

I think ps2 didn’t work as well because at the beginning he downloaded the emulators that the retroid setup guide offers, which are not necessarily the best versions of those emulators out now
Pretty good review although I wish you would tell us how it upscales games since the screen on this is high resolution. Like can we play GameCube at 720p? That kinda thing. I don’t think it’s fair to compare the mini to the 5. Someone that wants a 4:3 screen is not going to get the 5 no matter how much “better” it may be and vice versa. I love that they did this and more companies need to do it. One system for the 4 x 3 folks and one system for the 16 x 9 folks. All of us in the community have been begging for a 4 inch high resolution 4 x 3 screen device and this gets very close. Also just a correction, you can change the brightness on the LEDs on the sticks. You have to move over to the bigger box and drag the circle down to the dark areas
You can definitely change the brightness of the analog leds if you slide your finger to the colors on the left side...darker colors, dimmer leds... That's exactly how the Odin 2 Pro works as well and we know it's actually the same brand.
Out of curiosity did you mess with different emulators and settings for ps2? Some really impressive games running at 100% 2x from others so just want to reconcile the experiences a bit. Thank you for the in-depth prelim look!
Hey RD, another fantastic review! Just curious-do you ever worry about the batteries in your handhelds overheating or even exploding when you're not home, considering how many you have?
Yes, but over the last 4 years of reviewing handhelds, and having them all still at home, not one has exploded. The only one was a cheap GameCube handheld from eBay which caught on fire when I turned it on. 😂
@RetroDodo That's really reassuring to hear, especially since I just got an R36S myself. I was a bit concerned it might have similar issues, but it sounds like Chinese handhelds have made solid improvements in battery tech over the years. Definitely puts my mind at ease-thanks for sharing your experience!
Because on the larger 16:9 display of the 5, 4:3 content plays as if it had a 4.5in diagonal screen. The larger size is a sacrifice worth that 0.8in diagonal difference. Then again, my eyes are getting worse as I get older. Five years ago the size would have made the bigger difference to me.
2:43 I believe the OG Vita startedthis trend! 😁 Btw I agree with the idea of this device being overpowered for its size. Alltogether I find the choice of the sd865 a weird one. It's too strong for this one. and on the other hand it seems a bit weak for the RP5.
Retro dodo you should be charged with battery for the unlawful physical contact between the buttons and the glass screen. Perhaps only as an accesory though as it appears Retroid set you up. But other than that, interesting review, thanks!
Often with these reviews on these handhelds it's like "It sux, not powerful enough". But with the new Retroid Pocket Mini everyone seems to be implying "It's too POWERFUL and small! It sux"
I also really liked 353m. Miyu is pretty but looks cheap and 353m is good but doesn't have sleep mode. The Pocket Mini has it all and even has a 0.2 inch larger screen.
I'm waiting on the RP5 to replace my rg353p. The screen size of the Mini just isn't enough of an improvement for my aging eyes, so I'll have to buy the larger device.
Only 'some' PS2 games? All other reviews i've seen show it playing most PS2 games at 1.5 or 2x resolution on high performance mode. Which older and cheaper devices can still run Gamecube? (other than Anbernic RG Cube - which struggles to run some Gamecube)
I went with the ayaneo micro due to always wanting a gba micro. Plus the sleek modern design is pleasing to the eyes. However the retroid mini is more powerful lol guess I'll wait next time.
To be fair, I agree with it being overpowered. The screen is just too small for the consoles that would take advantage of that power. On your video you said everything. N64 and DC, which is the maximum that one would confortably play on this device, wont benefit from that extra power. The RP5 (non mini) for 10-20 more $ will be much better to take advantage of that power. And it's not even that bigger, but the screen is completely bezelless.
@@Nojig93 I'm really sorry. I misread the comment. I thought you were asking between the mini and the 5 They're different chipsets and while they bench similarly the 5/mini should perform a tad bit better since snapdragon chips have better graphics drivers THAT BEING SAID. Wait for some reviews ofc, though, 4 pro is still pretty performant and as long as it meets what you need (check public game sheets and reviews like RGC) so if you want something cheaper than the 5 that isn't compromising, for 175 it's still pretty insane
Depends on the person's use case for this i guess. I'm less concerned about PS2 as I am PSP. Keeping correct aspect ratio for those is going to look tiny so i'm more opt to gravitate towards the 5 for that. But anything older than that will benefit more from the Mini's screen. So i'm kind of split.
Nearly perfect device for me, love the screen, glass front and the cpu/ram are fine for the form factor as well. I just have a few minor nitpicky aesthetic gripes: The black model is the only one that I like, but it has flaws too; the white letters in the buttons contrast too heavily, as do the led rings around the sticks when rhe device is powered off. Colored letters (like on the rp4p black model), clear letters (like on the odin 2 mini) or no lettering at all would have been preferable. As well as no leds.
Sorry mate. Absolutely not good review. Will write the points again to help others. (And more formally) 1. Not marketed poorly. Why would anyone pay more, uhm because of OLED has much better motion clarity? (+Contrast, colors etc.) And I stare on screens a lot. 2. RP5 cannot fit in a pocket. It is a definitive 4:3 device. 3. 60 Hz not 60 fps... (a channel with 300k subs should know better than a 10 year old boy) 4. Then play with your partner brother... 5. Front facing speakers + low impedance is always great for a small device, do not forget some games have wide dynamic range (which result in quieter overall sound) 6. I am dissapointed the didnt use black screws - WHO CARES? Why the hell do I need to do that on a 200 dollar device. Better question - Why someone cares about something so stupid? I would never notice. It is a functional device, not a painting. 7. Dont send me if it is not finished - Be grateful Retroid sent you the device, I would too but just to make you happy, please be grateful bro 8. Aya Neo Micro has IPS. 9. Spongebob butt... ? And someone is pretending for family friendly content 10. 3.7 inch device not 3.5..... 11. Mini.... Mini compared to other Retroid devices, comparing a SD 865 device to Funky S is nonsense. 12. There is never too much power. Do not forget there is Winlator as well and other software. 13. Yeah people already touched up you did not configure the emulators probably.... Just... No comment. It is a tinkering device bro, not an AV TV plug and play. 14. Not some PS2..... Are we even talking about the same device.. 15. 10:48 it needs to play all of them.... Ok start developing an emulator.... Even PCSX2 is not perfect with my monster CPU and if I want lower latency + some games require full blending accuracy, that gets demanding. Until we have EtherealSX2 by Trixarian (who deserves much more attention, PS2 on Android will not be as good as on PC. Software is not perfect, PS2 has very different architecture than any modern device. Dolphin is way better on Android, that is why it could run all the games you tested. 16. Screen is too small meanwhile 4:3 content is like 3.8 inches on RP4 Pro. 17. For 20 dollars extra, you are getting more yes, but for some people Mini suits their needs more, everyone has different eyes. 18. There is no 4 inch AMOLED... Do your research before making a review. You know how hard it probably was for Retroid to find a screen like that? Probably from some camera etc, amoled 4:3 that is good for integer scalined gaming is no joke. It is not respectful for the designers and manufactures, sorry. 19. Extra 2 GB of RAM can push NFS Most Wanted into better framerates ???? I am absolutely blown away that a 300k tech reviewer can say this, extra 2 GB Ram will help with Switch emulation, on PS2 there is not that much data to work with. 20. They announced it will have the same chip at the same time. It doesnt matter what device would release first. Even Joey said the Mini is a good teaser, and I agree. 21. I wish they priced this lower. The price is amazing, they really nailed the margins and made right decisions, it breaks my heart to someone so large make a video like this. 22. WHY WHY WHY.... Bro, because they have the same chip. This should be replacing this - cuts off Nicely made outro, really put with love and care, honestly this channel feels something like Cocomelon, they claim it is something child friendly but at the end, the content is pure evil from the creator and consumer. Sorry, you might be wrong on this one. We DO want tiny and powerful. Side note : try a better PS2 emulator. Kind of shocked ya didn’t. Guess it’s not that shocking, I expected you to downplay the PS2 performance on the Mini anyways.
"Some PS2 games" besides ram I thought this was supposed to be as powerful as the 4 pro, which you guys recommend for ps2. Besides screen size are you guys saying that this is a weaker device than the pro 4?
Fairly sure you were using Dolphin for handheld instead of regular dolphin, and potentially a wonky ps2 emulator, because the way I set mine up it crushes any of those games I throw at it. I completely agree with your thoughts on the specs and pricing of this model though, with the retroid 5 having the same innards it's hard for me to pick either, and thus I'll probably sit both out until the next ones come out lol.
I've got an ROG Ally if I want a large portable handheld emulator machine. This is a good size for those of us looking for a ps2/gc emulator in a small footprint. I don't want a switch lite sized handheld.
Ooof...! Those ugly '90s bezels around the screen! This mini could have easily fitted a 4" screen. Too bad they could not source one for this. I'd rather have a good 4" IPS than this 3.7" OLED with '90s bezels around it.
No Odin2 mini review on your channel, it means you don't like that device ;) But thank you for your honesty about small screen for PS2 games. I have only a rg35xxPlus, (as my own Christmas gift) I want one for PS2 Wii GC DC Saturn , I can't choose between Odin2mini or RP5 :( I ha e to wait
Brandon: Pocket power I don't need. Me: Put that Snapdragon 865 on RP2s, GoRetroid !! Jokes apart, I think if they went for the clamshell design, they could put a bigger display in the same body area. Also, the glass front is unnecessary imo. And they price is also very high. They should've sacrificed the "premium"ness to keep the price lower, and put all the charms for the RP5.
It does look comfortable and the power is impressive especially for the size, but the question really is do you want to pay for a that power on a device that size when it has a bigger brother around the corner. As always, great video brother, and I like the jacket👌🏾🔥🔥
The 5 doesn't look like it'll be that much bigger than the Mini, but if size is most important, then the Mini makes sense. Talking about forgoing the RP5 and going for an Odin 2 Mini ignores the 55% increase in price (or 70% increase if you preordered the RP5 on day one), and has a smaller, non-oled screen.
I don't always agree with your views on handhelds, but in this case I am absolutely 100% with you that a 3.7" screen is just too small for GameCube and PS2.
Ok, so what does the RP5 actually play better compared to the RP Mini? Practically, considering screen ratio. Bigger PSP and GBA? Other than that you get a 4.49 4:3 content in a massive body for Game Cube or PS2.
@@Sepharite 2 consoles wouldnt be enough to justify a 16:9 screen but i had heard u can actually download screen hacks for even more old consoles. Ik dream cast was one of them
The RP5 isn't out yet, but will apparently feature more RAM (8GB's), a 5.5" screen., Android 13, and more battery. I don't think it will have a MAJOR performance boost but enough to make the extra $20 worth it in my opinion, even if it is widescreen. PSP, NDS (in side by side mode) and Android games will work much better too.
You'll also be able to play DS and 3DS with both screens visible at the same time on the RP5. So that's two more systems that will be better than on the Mini.
I think if the device had a bigger 4:3 display, it would have been perfect. No way in hell am I playing PS2/Gamecube/Wii games on a screen that small. I don't see why they'd put such a powerful chip inside a device with such a tiny screen. Shame it's the only powerful 4:3 display device around. Might as well get a Steam Deck and emulate on that.
I don’t think it’s fair to say that people will just wait for the retroid pocket 5 instead of the mini because I think retroid knows their biggest completion is Odin rn and they priced this smartly to be under it cause most people can upgrade for 100 more for an odin 2 instead. They are definitely building hype and using the mini as the test for the problems the retroid pocket 5 might have

No one should think you a fool for playing PS1 on this. Some ppl want a one and done device, not having to buy multiple devices for each console, lol.
@@tonyrosario1940 yeah this is more for running ps2 & wii really good, for just ps1 dreamcast and below, the Retroid pocket 2s is a good choice
agree having like 8 different handles is ridiculous imo/
@@tonyrosario1940 Then wouldn't it have been better that it had a bigger screen? So we can play those PS2/GameCube games? Cos those games were not made for such a small screen, nothing is legible.
@@PomuLeafEveryday I do agree with you, bigger screen will give you more options, which is why I, personally, will be looking at RP5. However, GC and PS2 were 4x3 natively so they will look great on both devices. But if someone doesn't care for 16x9, PSP, some Wii, Switch or Android gaming, then the Retroid Mini is a great option. 🍻
me who frequently plays ps2 games on their 2s 🤷
just wish it dual booted linux. It would be my only handheld
No one’s spoken about the button scraping yet so that’s good to know thanks
No worries, thanks for stopping by.
I think the added bonus here is pocket size GC/PS2/Saturn on a beautiful hires amoled screen
Disagree on covering the screws. Leaving them exposed is better for repairability. Fair enough on requesting them be black, but considering there are different color versions, I doubt they would go out of their way to get black screws just for the black devices.
Screws are really cheap. Why wouldn't they do it? non coated and black screws are the most common colors at any hardware store.
its definitely not capped at GC. it can play a lot of ps2 just fine at 2x
It is also android 10 right now. Android 13 is coming soon for it.
I think once the price will drop a bit, which should happen soon enough (in 3-6 months) it will be quite worth it.

even more power.
No turning settings down.
A few more years i hope.
Something for the pocket.
Gaming phone for now.
I literally just watched Russ at RGC run NFS:MW full speed. Did you use high performance mode?
Bro I don't even get full speed on the Odin 2 mini. That's cap.
Indeed...

Imagine this but with a rotatable screen. Like you wanna play some DS , vertical arcade or even Neo Geo Pocket flip it tall. Everything else flip it wide. Would be neat. Or even just this with a square screen
You don't need because have one thousend handhelds, but for regular consumer is a good option to be powerful and pocketable.
4:13 - you mention no brightness settings, that’s what the shade slider on the left is for!! The further you go toward black the less bright the rgb stick output
Ah yes! Good point! Thanks for spotting that!
What PS2 emulator were you using? Snapdragon 865 should be able to run pretty much everything no problem.
Odd ps2 didn’t work for you. It worked for other reviewers.
It "works", and some PS2 games will, but i hit hiccups on the larger games, so im not going to come out and say it works flawlessly, because I haven't seen that, and i'd hate for you to buy it for PS2 games and find out you can't play all of your library as well as you wished.
also nethersx2 performs much better than athersx2 happened on even my odin 2, games were crawling until i changed emulators
Im pretty sure something went wrong when he set it up, im able to run games like metal gear solid and sly cooper on the retroid pocket 2s and this is 8x more powerful so its questionable
Right now, it is android 10, but android 13 is coming soon for it.

I will wait for RP5 and see if it can play PS2 and Gamecube 100%.
you're all nuts, I wish this had unlimited power and could run ps5 pro games
Hey at least we have a premium perfect 4:3 :D
But remember, DS requires power, Id be a little disappointed if I couldnt emulate DS here

They have your position, I wish you luck.
Can these analog sticks be easily removed by pulling them off, or does that require a complete teardown?
Yup
Btw NFS Most Wanted is on GameCube as well and plays perfectly
Rather than it having too much power for its screen size. I’d probably agree with Russ from RGC in saying it just needs a bigger screen
I disagree, as this seems the perfect pocket PS2 with 4:3 display. Why go for larger 16:9 display when most (all?) PS2 games are 4:3 anyway?
Because on the larger 16:9 display of the 5, 4:3 content plays as if it had a 4.5in diagonal screen. The larger size is a sacrifice worth that 0.8in diagonal difference. Then again, my eyes are getting worse as I get older. Five years ago the size would have made the bigger difference to me.
2:43
I believe the OG Vita startedthis trend! 😁
Btw I agree with the idea of this device being overpowered for its size. Alltogether I find the choice of the sd865 a weird one. It's too strong for this one. and on the other hand it seems a bit weak for the RP5.
do you like aya pocket micro or retroid pocket mini?
Retro dodo you should be charged with battery for the unlawful physical contact between the buttons and the glass screen. Perhaps only as an accesory though as it appears Retroid set you up. But other than that, interesting review, thanks!
Why does it feel like every retro dodo video exists to be intentionally contentious? 😂
Everyone’s entitled to their opinion
The mini is the device to get other the RP5. The only downside is they went with a 3.7” screen instead of 4”
Often with these reviews on these handhelds it's like "It sux, not powerful enough".
But with the new Retroid Pocket Mini everyone seems to be implying "It's too POWERFUL and small! It sux"
This will be a nice 2nd device to my rg353m.
I also really liked 353m. Miyu is pretty but looks cheap and 353m is good but doesn't have sleep mode.
The Pocket Mini has it all and even has a 0.2 inch larger screen.
@@경안동귀요미 ark os has an ok sleep mode. Doesn't work with all systems though.
It's nice, but I just I'll just stick with the RP2S and RP4 Pro for now.
So if i want to play Gamecube and some ps2 without lag, should i buy the rp4pro or any of the rp5?
They're the same just different form factor. Just pick your preference on that
@@goovindnarula6470 oh thanks! The 4pro is a little bit cheaper so I'll go with that then :)
@@Nojig93 I'm really sorry. I misread the comment. I thought you were asking between the mini and the 5
They're different chipsets and while they bench similarly the 5/mini should perform a tad bit better since snapdragon chips have better graphics drivers
THAT BEING SAID. Wait for some reviews ofc, though, 4 pro is still pretty performant and as long as it meets what you need (check public game sheets and reviews like RGC) so if you want something cheaper than the 5 that isn't compromising, for 175 it's still pretty insane
@@goovindnarula6470 no worries :) thanks for the reply! I'll wait until some more reviews comes out before buying!

Nice jacket 👍🏽 where did you buy it?
Thanks! Pokemon.com!
Just buy a ps vita for perfect ps vita and psp emulation with pkg store and trophies 😮

60 fps? You mean Hertz.
Yes.
Nearly perfect device for me, love the screen, glass front and the cpu/ram are fine for the form factor as well. I just have a few minor nitpicky aesthetic gripes:
The black model is the only one that I like, but it has flaws too; the white letters in the buttons contrast too heavily, as do the led rings around the sticks when rhe device is powered off. Colored letters (like on the rp4p black model), clear letters (like on the odin 2 mini) or no lettering at all would have been preferable. As well as no leds.
"Big ol' British beefy hands" 😅👌🏻👏🏻
Sorry mate. Absolutely not good review.
Will write the points again to help others. (And more formally)
(a channel with 300k subs should know better than a 10 year old boy)
4. Then play with your partner brother...
5. Front facing speakers + low impedance is always great for a small device, do not forget some games have wide dynamic range (which result in quieter overall sound)
6. I am dissapointed the didnt use black screws - WHO CARES? Why the hell do I need to do that on a 200 dollar device. Better question - Why someone cares about something so stupid? I would never notice. It is a functional device, not a painting.
7. Dont send me if it is not finished - Be grateful Retroid sent you the device, I would too but just to make you happy, please be grateful bro
8. Aya Neo Micro has IPS.
9. Spongebob butt... ? And someone is pretending for family friendly content
10. 3.7 inch device not 3.5.....
This should be replacing this - cuts off

Well, maybe Retroid made two of them for a reason. The smaller one for to fit into your pocket, the bigger one as a Switch Lite alternative.
Oh my, the perfect 4/3 retro handheld is just too powerful. They lost my sale.

Jokes apart,

It does look comfortable and the power is impressive especially for the size, but the question really is do you want to pay for a that power on a device that size when it has a bigger brother around the corner.
As always,great video brother,and I like the jacket👌🏾🔥🔥
It's all about the prefer screen size and portability when it comes to the mini and 5.
Why get an RP 5 when you can get the ODIN 2 MINI which blows it out of the water. This is a 4:3 screen which is perfect for 4:3 systems
It's not
jacket goes hard
Ok, so what does the RP5 actually play better compared to the RP Mini? Practically, considering screen ratio. Bigger PSP and GBA? Other than that you get a 4.49 4:3 content in a massive body for Game Cube or PS2.
The 5 is going to have better ram and android 13, regardless its better if u dont mind 16:9 which most people dont
PS2 and GC have widescreen hacks that work really well.
So that's two more systems that will be better than on the Mini.
i agree whit you on this all that power for such small screen but it is oled so i guess it premium device like the ayaneo

Yes.
