It is an active volcano at an altitude of 2,465m(8,087ft). It is possible to see such huge the active Lugud crater and green-covered Margaja Valley. There is also a huge waterfall at the foot .

Majestically beautiful, mysterious and deadly. That's Mother Nature for all of us.
Proudly to say I was there twice...the twin falls and the creater. But what i amazed most is the biggest creater beside the volcano, they say there's no living witness when that volcano erupted. The creater stretch out 2 kilometers wide, so big.

Beautiful and Majestic Old Lady Kanlaon.
The crater shape shows how it was explosive way back.
Random facts: Whole taal lake is a caldera, its a large lake and u can tell that taal is a very large volcano back then but created a very huge explosion sinking it down to what it is today
That dormant Canlaon Volcano will one be awake and explode :)))

Kanlaon did not record a vei 4 eruption pinakamakas na yung VEI 3 nung 80s yung strombolian eruption. But due to frequent phreatic eruption the crater grows larger.
@@auxegin7035 sino nag sabi sayo na Dormant ang kanlaon? mag random facts ka na nga lang mali mali pa. pangatlo yung Kanlaon sa most active sa Pilipinas sunod lang sa Mayon at Taal. last eruption neto 2016 -2017.
1992 was my last visit on that mountain, was privileged that was able to sleep as well there on the mouth of the crater.. fast forward glad that there’s drone now that could explore the rest of the mountain.. thank you for featuring this 🙏 it is still beautiful.

Naalala ko tuloy ngaun nung grade six po ako nag buga ng usok yan kitang kita po namin kahit nasa guimaras kami kasi naka face po ung canlaon sa guimaras subrang takot po namin noon na baka pumutok na..
maganda po ung view nyan sa guimaras sa umaga at hapon makikita mo po sya ng klaro lalo na pag walang ulap na nakatakip sa kanya.. Malapit po kasi kami sa dagat..
Dahil kay Taal nahihilig ako mag search sa lahat Ng active volcanoes. New hobby hehe..

I havent climbed Mt. Kanlaon yet, but i can say its crater is as majestic as the Mt. Apo crater. It has a lake and wild berry plants around it. And climbing the boulders will give you a closer view of the active sulfur vents.
I've climbed both and I can tell you, they are incomparable. Lugud Crater of Mt Kanlaon is active and completely devoid of life. That huge hole is terrifying upclose with 90 degree walls and possibly more than 100 meter drop. You may compare Margaha Valley to Mt Apo summit though, since both are inactive volcanic craters.

I live next island never know Canlaon volcano looks like this. Great drone. Watch this is part of the Pacific ring of fire. Mount Fuego in Guatemala just has a big explosion.
RUclips recommended this to me. Few days ago, we experienced magnitude 4 of earthquake here in Negros Occidental and this volcano was showing some signs and. Phivolcs was eyeing on it already, praying for good.

Ang ganda grabe! There is a civilization (ET) (our ancestors call it The Gods) under this volcano which is looking over our land and making sure we live in a higher vibration from now on. Please take extra care of our Environment and do not do illegal activities esp. here or else they can be quite cranky. It is sacred to them as to us since they are our Ancestors. We come from their own blood.
