    8 years ago!!! and still helped me install my levers today!
    Great video man! Been looking all day for install video that isn’t someone talking about how they broke them, one guy talked for 10 mins about how he broke them then it was 4x speed when he started the install and didn’t know what he did. This helped me get my levers installed in 20 mins after watching,
    Thanks brother, ride safe!!

      your very Welcome =) always great to see a positive comment. Thats why i created my ch as most of these videos don't show the process or explain very well what they are doing or at times like you have just experience where they speed up the video and don't say anything that's the Worst! Glad that even though this video is old but still a goodie in helping take care as well & be safe out there.

    Woah woah... If the clutch lever is tight you don't just move the lever in close with the clicker... You have to loosen the clutch cable until there is a tiny amount of play in it. Clutch levers need to have play so the clutch can fully engage!
    The way you have that set up now being so tight means the clutch will never fully engage because the lever isn't letting it and you'll loose tons of power, the clutch will slip and eventually burn out.

    very effective video Thanks. is there any way to adjust the front brakes without flushing?

    • @ACProductions77
      @ACProductions77  8 лет назад

      what you mean flushing? the front brakes are self adjusting, but if you meant by the lever for feel then the lever has 6 adjustment points select which feels more comfortable for you just note that the closer the lever is to your hand grips you may not get 100% brake pressure.

    you mean the clutch cable adjuster screw? use locking pliers that will get a good grip on it to loosen it.

    what about the black o ring that comes with the stock lever? Do we need it?

    • @ACProductions77
      @ACProductions77  8 лет назад

      no you dont need it, plus it makes it very difficult to install with it.

    • @ACProductions77
      @ACProductions77  7 лет назад

      not really, but if you want to install it back with the new levers it will be difficult cuz its already a tight fit

    can you help me out? I bought some very similar except mine didn't need the metal piece you inserted in the clutch lever. but when I pull in the clutch, it just stays pulled in. I have to put it back into place and when I turned it on even with the clutch all the way out, the bike was not moving when I put it into gear.... help please

    • @ACProductions77
      @ACProductions77  8 лет назад

      +HeroofSomething if it doesnt retract back after you pulled on the lever that means that the cable doesnt have enough tension on it. on my video go to the spot of 6mins and 53secs i pin point the spot to adjust the cable. if you need any more help let me know

    • @HeroofSomething
      @HeroofSomething 8 лет назад

      +AC Productions well... I ended up shaving off the big screw and now I think I'll have to replace the whole plastic thing that holds the clutch, do you know where I could get another?

    • @alfonsocastillon8714
      @alfonsocastillon8714 8 лет назад

      if you have the clutch cable adjuster all the way out and your clutch is not ingaugeing then you have to take off your right side fairing and adjust the clutch cable from there. if you still need help let me know and I'll make a video of how to adjust it

    Is there any play on levers . I bought some from eBay and man there's a lot of play.

    • @alfonsocastillon8714
      @alfonsocastillon8714 8 лет назад

      if you install some very thin shims that will get rid of some of the play

    • @ACProductions77
      @ACProductions77  7 лет назад

      i dont have much play on mine, but if you have alot of play then you may want to install some thin shims where the bolt goes through. take out the bolt slide the shim then put back the bolt. that should help with the play, might be alittle difficult to get the shim in.

      if you break the button on the brake side then your brake lights wont come on but your brakes will still work.

    • @ACProductions77
      @ACProductions77  7 лет назад

      yes you can still ride the bike the only thing that will be effected is that no one behind you will know that you are applying your brakes cuz your Brake light wont turn on.

    • @ACProductions77

      AC Productions ok can you install steel braided brake lines in R3 abs model

    • @ACProductions77
      @ACProductions77  6 лет назад

      yes you can, it will improve on the feel of the lever it will feel more firm. plus under heat and load the brake line will not expand like the stock brake line.

    • @parthivbomma6570
      @parthivbomma6570 6 лет назад

      AC Productions can spiglers brake line fit in abs R3 because some people said it would not

    • @ACProductions77

      +AC Productions i have a question regarding the brake side. you know how when you have the stock lever on, theres a point where it clicks and you feel the bike start braking, well after i installed the aftermarket short lever, i hear the click but it takes a bit more of grabbing the brake lever for the bike to start braking. is this normal or did i install it incorrectly?

    • @alfonsocastillon8714
      @alfonsocastillon8714 8 лет назад

      +ldiaz04 on the lever you should have 6 adjustment points I have mine set to number 2 which puts the lever closer to the handgrip. try this if you still feel that the brakes are not grabbing like they use to then let me know.
