That zoom shot on Michael Keating's eyes as he displays fear? The merest touch of Italian Giallo in B7: nice!

Although watching it again now the cameraman seems to be zooming in more on his nose, something that even Dario Argento never thought of doing!

I love this show. It constantly and shamelessly pinches ideas from Orwell, Huxley and later Wilde...

After all these years I missed an episode? Maybe it started off tanith lee-luke because I still can't watch an episode like sarcophagus. Could someone tell me the title, please?

@@MartinDolan yeah that's pretty side splitting hilarious, alright. You seem sad, lonely and in need os a sense of authority. Thank you. Dawn of the God's is one of the titles I stayed away from. More supernatural and viking bs thrown into a hard science fiction show based on crushing authority vs freedom and the dignity of man.

      @@davidrosler5413 Viking?

@@frankshailes3205 very loose descriptive generalization which I thought was being more or less established in these comments by myself and a few other people describing when the show which is generally about a dystopian future with freedom fighters and the machinations of the tyranny and suddenly you interject a story about a primitive culture where everyone is speaking colloquial English for these weird Supernatural situations invariably counterpointed by characters in robes and an electronic choir on the soundtrack and it's just terrible. I have a vague recollection of watching the beginning of this episode and rolling my eyes. Whenever they show went into Tanith Lee territory it took a s*** right on my television screen. This looks like an interesting scene so maybe I'll try to suffer through it but as much as I feel that Blake 7 is the finest science fiction show dramatically ever put on television it's because of episodes like space fall, and power play, and rumors of death, and killer, and not this goofy crap that would occasionally spring up about guys riding around on horses and acting like Vikings or whatever the hell was happening along those lines or mysterious mystical figures with electronic glows around them and whatever the hell else. Blake seven always was at its best functioning in the no-nonsense hard science political Intrigue Arena and always just turns into a silly dumb thing the moment it gets away from that.

It's another 'weird Auron legends' episode.
