After incorporating these amendments (hopefully), then it will go to parliament to be passed, before Royal ascent. There are few more steps left before we can apply for it. For now, ORE, LDS and Temporary registration is all we have.

@@anupama7357 There quite many, some of them are Pastest, Samson notes, EA dental, Plan ORE, etc. I'm not saying you should go with these, if you do so, it's your own choice. What you should do is to Google, find them, and check their reviews, fees, and terms and conditions before committing your money.

Hi Daphne, It's possible to get a trainee dental nurse job, but you need to be enrolled to a dental nursing course. Also, if you had done your IELTS and applied for ORE and got a candidate number, there are companies willing to sponsor your dental nursing training and offer you a CoS to join them. And upon successfully passing ORE, they will employ you as well, but you can get a CoS before passing ORE as long as you are on the Candidate list. @@sushmareddy4840 The current draft says being in the candidate list should be the only way of admission into provisional registration, but the GDC wants it to be open to all interested. So it's one of the amendments.
All we can do now is to hope. It will all depend on how fast the amendments suggested by the GDC in this video will be made, how fast it will be passed, and how soon the king will assend to it.

However, at the outset (2023) when the gdc announced this change, they said it would probably take 2years. So, if we consider 2years from 2023, then probably it could happen, but it's not certain.

Yes you get paid well. Slightly below the registered Dentist, but good enough to keep you happy 😍
What will be the working hours for provisional registrants
I'm not sure, but judging from temporary registration, it should be full time. Maximum 40hrs a week.

Once the amendments are approved, it will be rolled out. It shouldn't be very long from now. The more difficult processes have been completed.
