Honestly, love or hate him, it's hard not to be overly proud and happy for Nick. He may have made us think he's called it quits, but then he turned his life around and it honestly fills me with joy. He's become just an inspirational at this point.

I was so happy to see Nick interact with other people again and open up. He used to be an acquaintance of mine since we were both active in the raw vegan community a long time ago (lmao). I knew he was genuinely good and kind person underneath all his troubles, and it was really sad to see him so lost and demonized by everyone. I’m excited for this arch and hope he keeps it up! Nick is genuinely entertaining and he could have an amazing comeback.

The guy had an extremely fast metabolism from the get-go all he needed to do is quit eating he intentionally over eight and probably kept some of his normal routines we don't see his daily life so all he did was start eating salads like he used to instead of muckbanging three times a day and he lost the weight like nothing I'm not giving credit to somebody with an extremely high metabolism who could have done it from the get-go he used all your viewers to get rich pretty smart of you ask me and y'all are none the wiser

Fat stimulates estrogen production which makes it far more difficult to lose weight, so even if his metabolism used to be high it is awful right now. He's losing weight quickly because in order to maintain 400 pounds with Nic's frame, you have to be eating an absurd amount of calories per day. If he was eating 8,000 calories per day to maintain his current body weight, cutting his intake to 6,000 calories would cause incredibly rapid weight loss regardless of metabolism. A 2000 calorie deficit causes you to lose 4 pounds a week and would kill most people, but because he's so immensely fat it's possible

I used to be addicted to food. At my highest I was 440 pounds and I was miserable. Seeing people encouraging that was heart breaking. Not only did it encourage him but people who watched him would be validated in their food addictions. Fortunately I lost a couple hundred pounds and I’m doin alright now, and I’m happy to see him turning around

That's actually some very positive. I have seen some of videos and they were just sad to watch someone just destroy their body like that, and the people in the community that egged him on to keep putting on wait are terrible humans. But it's good to see he is getting more positive feedback.
As someone who lost 200 pound myself I can say I'm nothing short of proud of the changes Nick has made to himself. I first heard of this from a video of him dancing in a RUclips short. He honestly looked better than ever, you could SO notice the difference, he seemed truly proud of himself, too, as well he SHOULD be. He's doing fantastic, and I hope he reaches his goal.
As someone who's never watched Nikocado Avacado before, yet has been painfully aware of his situation for so long, I am so glad he's turning his life around. I would love to learn his workout routine, as I've also been struggling with losing weight for a while.

Yeah I'm honestly really happy for him. I was only ever in the first category of obesity (BMI of 34 or so) and lost 70 pounds to get to a healthy weight, but that was hard in and of itself. I'm seriously impressed by him losing 90 pounds and going strong 😄

like almost all mukbang youtubers he only eat a portion of what's on the plates, and often spits what's in his mouth. at least that's what the chinese ones do all the time. that would need an analysis of all his videos but that's how its usually done. there's cuts and edits all over the place to give the impression he eats almost everything.

Im someone who's stuck in the limbo of 190lbs to 200lbs and I'm so annoyed about it. Seeing someone like him, in such a worst spot than me, being able to lose weight, gives me hope. I've actually hit 188lbs recently so I'm happy. Best of luck to him Edit: my main issue is I'm a introverted shut in who boredom eats and lives out in the boonies where you are basically required to have a car to go anywhere with no where really close by. Staying active is hard, not much to do. What changed for me is I started being more active. I started doing work around the yard semi daily. Kept myself moving and busy which did two things for me. One I wasn't sitting down for most of the day, I was actively expending calories. Also since I was so preoccupied with stuff I didn't eat much of anything. Didn't even feel hungry at any point since I was so focused. I think the long period of activity along with being busy enough to the point boredom eating never killed in, allowing be to actually focus on burning the calories I need to lose weight rather than whatever crap I was eating, allowed me to finally make some progress. I ain't no expert but my best advice is keep keeping busy, breaks of days not doing active stuff is ok, but keep at it every so often. You'll lose progress fast and lose motivation when you realize you randomly gained 10+ pounds. Just keep going. If this guy that was eating himself to death can somehow make this much of a rebound, I'm sure I can to and I'm sure as hell you can to. Hang in there, keep it up.
Boredom eating is a bitch, I deal with it myself. I've tried keeping gum on hand at all times and trying to really think about what I eat and even with my best efforts instant gratification will still beat it out sometimes. Good luck to you!

I think his strongest weakness was his mental health. I hope he is getting better now. The mental health is the main problem of many weight loss journeys, his toxic fanbase and most of the internet despising him definitely did not help. He is incredibly strong for pulling through to his first steps.

I can't pretend to know about nicks life, but I could see him really being stuck in lalaland and likely a lot of people around him just confirmation bias yesmenning him all the time. I was really unhealthy for a while. At my heaviest, I was 174 pounds. I know that may not be much compaired to some other people here, but that was towards the end of 8th grade and about the first quarter of my freshman year. At 5'0", I felt awful. I still feel like I have a ways to go, but I managed to get down to 132 pounds by Thanksgiving that year. It was amazing, but I got there through an unhealthy cutting diet and of course a fair amount of exercise. I ended up hypoglycemic a few times. Would not recommend, the displacement low blood pressure was awful
The funny thing is, right now, the only reason I am down 120 lbs (and counting) because I was so existentially disgusted by Nik and saw him as a dark reflection of where I could have ended up with my depression eating. I'm happy that he is finally trying to fix it all.

I used to be 470 now down to 240. My tourretes medication destroyed my metabolism and I went from scrawny to gaining weight and starting to be fat in 2nd grade. I was obese when I was 18 and started seeing results when I turned 19 after I found my 3rd job at Walmart and had my own vehicle I was able to work out and work 5-7 days a week. Also I nearly got kicked out of my grandparents house to get off my meds (They never helped my tourretes that much anyhow). On I finally passed a certain amount of weight my metabolism grew ever stronger again. Now I can't eat enough and I still lose weight.

The guy had an extremely fast metabolism from the get-go all he needed to do is quit eating he intentionally over eight and probably kept some of his normal routines we don't see his daily life so all he did was start eating salads like he used to instead of muckbanging three times a day and he lost the weight like nothing I'm not giving credit to somebody with an extremely high metabolism who could have done it from the get-go he used all your viewers to get rich pretty smart of you ask me and y'all are none the wiser

Fat stimulates estrogen production which makes it far more difficult to lose weight, so even if his metabolism used to be high it is awful right now. He's losing weight quickly because in order to maintain 400 pounds with Nic's frame, you have to be eating an absurd amount of calories per day. If he was eating 8,000 calories per day to maintain his current body weight, cutting his intake to 6,000 calories would cause incredibly rapid weight loss regardless of metabolism. A 2000 calorie deficit causes you to lose 4 pounds a week and would kill most people, but because he's so immensely fat it's possible

And now he's trying to do better and trying to find his self worth. I'm just so proud of him I hope he continues with his journey to become healthier.
I used to be addicted to food. At my highest I was 440 pounds and I was miserable. Seeing people encouraging that was heart breaking. Not only did it encourage him but people who watched him would be validated in their food addictions.
Fortunately I lost a couple hundred pounds and I’m doin alright now, and I’m happy to see him turning around

As someone who lost 200 pound myself I can say I'm nothing short of proud of the changes Nick has made to himself. I first heard of this from a video of him dancing in a RUclips short. Yeah I'm honestly really happy for him. I was only ever in the first category of obesity (BMI of 34 or so) and lost 70 pounds to get to a healthy weight, but that was hard in and of itself. I'm seriously impressed by him losing 90 pounds and going strong 😄

Im someone who's stuck in the limbo of 190lbs to 200lbs and I'm so annoyed about it. Seeing someone like him, in such a worst spot than me, being able to lose weight, gives me hope. I've actually hit 188lbs recently so I'm happy. Best of luck to him
Edit: my main issue is I'm a introverted shut in who boredom eats and lives out in the boonies where you are basically required to have a car to go anywhere with no where really close by. Staying active is hard, not much to do. What changed for me is I started being more active. I started doing work around the yard semi daily. Kept myself moving and busy which did two things for me. One I wasn't sitting down for most of the day, I was actively expending calories. Also since I was so preoccupied with stuff I didn't eat much of anything. Didn't even feel hungry at any point since I was so focused. I think the long period of activity along with being busy enough to the point boredom eating never killed in, allowing be to actually focus on burning the calories I need to lose weight rather than whatever crap I was eating, allowed me to finally make some progress. I ain't no expert but my best advice is keep keeping busy, breaks of days not doing active stuff is ok, but keep at it every so often. You'll lose progress fast and lose motivation when you realize you randomly gained 10+ pounds. Just keep going. If this guy that was eating himself to death can somehow make this much of a rebound, I'm sure I can to and I'm sure as hell you can to. Hang in there, keep it up.

I think his strongest weakness was his mental health. I hope he is getting better now. The mental health is the main problem of many weight loss journeys, his toxic fanbase and most of the internet despising him definitely did not help. I was really unhealthy for a while. At my heaviest, I was 174 pounds. I know that may not be much compaired to some other people here, but that was towards the end of 8th grade and about the first quarter of my freshman year. At 5'0", I felt awful. I still feel like I have a ways to go, but I managed to get down to 132 pounds by Thanksgiving that year. It was amazing, but I got there through an unhealthy cutting diet and of course a fair amount of exercise. I ended up hypoglycemic a few times. Would not recommend, the displacement low blood pressure was awful

I used to be 470 now down to 240. My tourretes medication destroyed my metabolism and I went from scrawny to gaining weight and starting to be fat in 2nd grade. I was obese when I was 18 and started seeing results when I turned 19 after I found my 3rd job at Walmart and had my own vehicle I was able to work out and work 5-7 days a week. Also I nearly got kicked out of my grandparents house to get off my meds (They never helped my tourretes that much anyhow). On I finally passed a certain amount of weight my metabolism grew ever stronger again. Now I can't eat enough and I still lose weight.
Any tips cause I am trying to lose weight as well and knowing that you lost that much is great!

Dude changed his whole life attaining internet fame and amassing well over $20K+/week in ad revenue with all the necessary knowledge to reverse/limit the damage done on his unhealthful journey.
