A lot of cars that clarkson hated have gone on to become desirable classics that people pay a lot of money for. That is the Porsche Cayenne that clarkson was talking about.
This compilation wasn't very good but I do encourage you to watch an episode of Top gear with these 3 presenters as it will give you a better idea of British motoring
4:49 Interestingly as a car-guy I agree, they look good because they're retro now, they didn't look that great at the time IMO, but some will surely disagree with that.

You talking about associating the logo with the value of the car is a typical US thing. The Japanese invented Lexus, Infiniti and Acura to sell luxurious Toyota, Nissan and Honda in the US. Most of those cars are sold with the original badge around the world.

@stephenlee5929 I have to admit, I passed my driving test in a Ford Anglia, then my first car was a Hillman Imp, I've also had a Morris Marina and an Austin Allegro. God, I feel old. 😆

No, you are spot on with your 'Family Jewels' alternatively known here in the UK as your 'Meat and 2 Veg'!
It should be pretty obvious. I mean we would get their slang 100%.
Tvr's are beautiful cars ! They just have the tendency to brake down often but still they are better looking than 90% of US cars 😅
Thats one of the lowest bars to clear
*break* down... (a 'brake' is the thing which you use to stop the car...)
That tvr is beautiful but yes tvr does make an ugly car
13:25 that's because you're driven by ridicilous brand trends instead of what the car actually is. Which is a very shallow way of judging a car
True, but not as unusual as we might hope.

Oh Connor, I remember dreaming of owning a PT Cruiser when they first came out they looked so retro and quirky. It never happened.

Aston Martins are beautiful. Modern buick not the same as old buick. Old buick made Land yachts and Muscle cars . Now it's a rebadged Vauxhall or Opel

It's not Neesan ffs 😂, it's Nissan.
To be fair to the Americans, Nissan is Japanese, and the Japanese pronounce it "Nee-san", so in this case we're the ones bastardizing it.
