Informative video. The fakes are getting much better, now. The fake ones you brought out are good examples of bush-league counterfeits. There are fakes now where you wonder what the profit margin is for the counterfeiters because they put so much work into making them nearly identical. I suppose $50-$80 is a lot of money in China.
I wouldnt care if there were clones if they didnt flat out copy the logo and all. Some people want a smock that cant afford a real one, some people want a compression lock knife thats not $100+…….but whennthey put all the logos and the fake blade steel stamp and all that, then it becomes a real problem, a counterfeit as opposed to a clone.
Howdy! So, I am new at pocket knives and bought a Spyderco Tenacious at Sportsman's Warehouse and noticed that the back of the knife said, "China" and was kind of bummed out. But, I saw a couple knives said, "Golden, Colorado Earth". Soooo.... It is a Tenacious. We'll see, I guess
Wait until you come across a really good fake, instead of the not so good fakes you have there. On the really good fakes about the only tell besides the edge retention, is the G10 is a little grippier than the real deal. They even have the clean crisp jimping feel done right now.

I have a clone with a real upc code so calling in isn't exactly accurate.
