Not related to the movie, but I just wanted to say Rest in Peace to Arleen Sorkin, the original inspiration and voice actress for Harley Quinn. Thank you for your amazing work, and for helping give us one of my favorite DC characters. You will be missed.
To be fair they did merge universes before in the comics and that is why we have Static Shock and Icon in DC. I believe they were part of milestone media and when DC bought them they merged after that, so we may get more DC-RWBY crossovers.
So excited to see justice league x Rwby I have been hyped for ages now I preoerded it as soon as I was able and I been telling people about first part and how great it is and that it exists
I did enjoy part 1, and I am excited for part 2, though, I also wish this sequel was in 2D as well, would've been cool. But clearly, WB has essentially commissioned the animation crew of RWBY to handle all the animation for both part, which, uh... maybe shouldn't have been the first go to choice, if it were up to me, I would've gone with the animation crew on the battle of the super sons film. That could've been a bit better, but whatever.
I'm excited for this as well. I like part 1 and look forward to seeing this one as well. Glad to see I'm not the only one who isn't fond of Wonder Woman's appearance, something just feels off about it. But I still love the designs Team RWBY have now and that the designers remember their respective colors of Red, White, Black, and Yellow (seriously the new designs are missing that) Either way, it's all going to be a fun ride and I can't wait to see Black Canary in action! No doubt when we see Jaune, Ren, and Nora those 3 are going to come into action with a big entrance lol
0:38-0:49 It’s Watts because Watt’s VA was listed in the voice cast. 1:17-1:20 The reason is that they had to be cut to pay Laura Bailey and Troy Baker to voice in this film.
I would’ve love to see them change art styles in each other’s universes like in the TMNT 2012 crossover where the 2012 Turtles were traditionally animated in the 1987 universe and the 1987 Turtles were computer animated in the 2012 universe. I mean sure, the DC characters look more like traditional anime characters in the RWBY universe and the RWBY characters look like traditional superheroes in the DC universe but I would’ve liked to have seen it go to the natural conclusion of seeing the RWBY characters in 2D animation, maybe similar to that of the current DC animated movie universe.
1:16 that’s funny to me because everyone usually complains when Jaune Is haphazardly thrown into importance so the one time they don’t do that everyone is still complaining that he’s missing.
For your point about Blake: Ninja has usually had a connotation of "dark" (possible propaganda if you're aware of why they became Ninjas in the first place; why they had to use the tactics they employed and whom exactly they were fighting historically, that necessitated said "underhanded" methods) so it's natural that they would give her dark "magic" = Ninjas were also elevated to folk legend myth status as far as what they could pull off in Japanese mythos, so Ninja, rather than Cat Girl [Which can have unsavory undertones if you count Neko as a thing] is what they focused on with her. At least that's how I'd explain it, but who knows. Rwby's not known for either continuity consistency or plot logic really. Far as I'm concerned, the Main Character has always been a happy little psycho who doesn't pay attention to the implication of killing grim that was lain out in the first few episodes, and the series ended for me when they killed off Pyria so randomly. (Jean's potential LI - which they'd only BARELY begun building up) I've only marginally kept up on it since that point, and as far as I've heard in continued seasons the quality of the story has massively tanked. Not bashing the fans; if you like it, that's fine. However the series had A LOT more potential to go to some interesting places within the histories of the fairy tales the main characters were based on... and never did. What happened to it, is an insult to it's original creator. From whom we will never know what was intended. Whether it would have been better or devolved over time as any story stretched too long becomes. It frankly should have been shared as was; left as it stood unto his death - or handed over to people who could and would follow whatever plans he might have intended. Adding things that would enhance only after that ran out. Instead, we got... this. All of this, for 9 seasons as far as I know. Now cross overs, as a cash grab. Ironically one of the characters is called Qrow... and this feels like the people who got the rights after the creator's death have been picking his creative corpse. Not that I meant to go on this long. Apologies if it got a little... dark. Maybe I'm a ninja too?
I think Team RWBY (outfits not pallete-wise) looks better in the comic. - Ruby looks the best to me although her sleeves look like her skin. If they made it them color of her chest crest it would look better. -Yang looks kinda clunky. It maybe because they overdid it with the Amazon aesthetic when the comic design looks influenced by it. -Blake looks confusing. The two-inch thick cutout mask may fly in Miraculous but not here, the clasps and utility belt feel random since she has dark magic, and swapping thigh-highs for uggs was a bad call. -Weiss looks like they modified a cheer outfit. They put her hair down which is fine but I wish more was done to it and the tiara clip/headband makes me take her less seriously. In my opinion, Weiss should've been the only sorceress of the team and Blake should have a power closer to her semblance say cloning or teleporting. Her using dark magic looks last minute judging from her outfit which Zatana could've filled.
I had a good time with Part 1, so I’m hoping to have similar enjoyment with Part 2. There’s a rumor going around that this takes place post Volume 9, which could explain Jaune’s potential absence, considering all he went through.
First off, I can understand why they're switching to a different continuity as someone who has understood what happens with comics it's not surprising considering that you can jump ahead in the comics so fast not to mention also you tend to mess up on the continuity when you switch to a different product just look at the injustice universe! Now from what I seen of the trailer I think they're playing up on how their powers should technically manifest in this world differently, because Ruby has something that feels like she's now a teleporter instead of a speedster. I'm just wondering how they're gonna explain how the characters get summoned to the Justice League universe. Also I hope this does well enough for them to actually do a 2D version later I understand that they probably hired the same animation team twice and just paid for it as A1 animation team system. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if in reality it was registered and paid for as a single animation project but scheduled to be a two animation project. Something tells me though when they show up they're gonna be in there original uniforms and the Justice League uniforms are gonna be there new clothing to build out for their new abilities. Part of me kind of hopes that they have a similar feel of having mentorship friends like they did in the first half. Considering Yang and Blake were kind of a mentoring Wonder Woman I feel like it's nice to see Yang getting mentored by Wonder Woman back. [and I think the reason why Diana's head looks terrible is that they literally forgot to resize her head to match the size of her body because if you notice everybody else's head looks kind of right on the girls side and there are smaller characters Diana kinda looks like she took TN style of there's no such thing as too much muscle growth yes I just did a Dragon Ball Z reference] I highly doubt they're gonna include revenant unless they finally decide to get away from there are only 52 earths again seriously if they are allowed to get away from the stock number of how many universes exist it will be fine! I know marvel having a larger map is annoying for some people but it's realistic if every single choice creates an alternate universe and even if we calculate for the possibilities of just core choices and not micro choices there are still core choices within core choices within core choices they have domino effects of untold numbers.
"Looking forward to Justice League X RWBY Part 2! Hoping it surpasses the first one. The crossover between the Justice League and RWBY was such a unique concept, and I'm excited to see how it unfolds. It's great to hear that team RWBY gets to visit the DC Universe this time while the Justice League explores Remnant. I'm also hoping to see what's left of team JNPR in this movie. By the way, you should definitely check out Scooby Apocalypse(2016) It's a really cool and interesting comic series that puts a unique twist on the Scooby-Doo universe. I think you'll enjoy it! Keep up the great work, and I'm looking forward to the release!"😀👍
1:25 hell yeah they were! If this still takes place in vol 7 then there’s no reason jaune and his team shouldn’t be in this and if this takes place after volume 9 then it would ESPECIALLY have no reason to not include jaune! Better be a good explanation!
As someone who did enjoy Part 1, here are some of my thoughts. I like the new designs for Team RWBY. They seem like good fits for their fighting styles, and it is nice to see them in outfits that actually match the colors they represent, something that's been a recent problem for Weiss and Blake. I do think that Wonder Woman does look a little off, but everyone else in the League look good. The League is also voiced by some talented voice actors, like Travis Willingham, Troy Baker, and Laura Bailey. I do hope we get to see more interactions between the characters based on the dynamics they had last movies. As you said, Superman and Ruby's reunion was nice, and I hope we can see more of Diana with Blake and Yang, and Batman and Weiss. Hope Vixen does get to do more, as I felt she was just there in the first movie and didn't seem to have much of a purpose. Excited to see Black Canary in this, as she's one of my favorite female heroes. She looks great and I haven't met a bad version of her in animation based on what I've seen, so hopefully this is no different. I do hope we at least get to see Jaune so he and Jessica can interact, as they really were the best part of the first film. Jessica was easily the most compelling character last time, and it made me want to check out her comics, which I feel is what DC adaptations should do. For anyone wanting to see more Jessica Cruz, I recommend Green Lanterns: Rage Planet. It's a nice graphic novel that works as a good starting point for readers to learn about her. Overall, looks good, and it'll hopefully be like Part 1: A fun crossover that is enjoyable despite some flaws.

I wasn’t a fan of what they did to Batman in the 1st RWBY & Justice League crossover. Batman is my favorite DC superhero. Ruby and Blake are my favorite characters in RWBY.

@@Raximus3000 I honestly don't *good* crossovers from them, but If there not gonna try anymore, why should for them who only care of cashing whats left with the franchise.
Id actually be kinda invested if we got Red Hood and Ruby getting into a heated debate regarding copyright infringement

Wonder Woman's proportions look like that of a man. Did Warner Bros. and/or Rooster Teeth make her transgender, in this movie?
I doubt it, I think it's just that the animators tried to make her less anime esque and more real, but it didn't work out due to rwbys art style
DC and rwby again?
Not a fan of this weird 3D-cartoon-anime-like-style. But it Looks alright here. I prefere 2D-animation and Real Anime (from japan).
I honestly didn't bother to watch part 2 cause It still felt like a half assed fan-fixtion and rather read Banana Splits teamed up eiyh Harley's crew! Remember that masg-up crossover!?!
Can't blame you, RWBY seems to be trying to crossover with every possible franchise to draw in new idi.. fans.
p.s.
*part 1
@@Raximus3000 I honestly don't *good* crossovers from them, but If there not gonna try anymore, why should for them who only care of cashing whats left with the franchise.
The new rwby outfits were kinda bad I expected better
What went Wrong in DC animated movies. I miss the dcau movies. Times have changed.
What is RWBY? Looks like a strange American Anime. 😖 I love the JUSTICE LEAGUE, but its hard to find good stories.
Ay like rwby and yang , Blake doesn't sur her and Waise Is not special
I hope they stop with the shipping and concentrate on the story.
J do you watch rwby? I stopped watching it. If so what do you think of Volume 9?
I bought part 1!
The writing for the movie makes no sense tbh. Why are rwby and dc heros in a simulation together? Wouldnt that require the people to randomly show up
First?
That is really lazy of writing for starters try to get noses the French I saw today with that kind of thing
RWBY smells like turbo cringe
