Two Italian journalists had investigated this trafficking, but were murdered in 1994. In 2009, an Italian mafioso confided to the courts that he held the keys to the trafficking. I am a medical professional who is very interested in the deleterious effects of toxic exposure on human physical & psychological health . Nonetheless, I had to stop watching as a result of the shot of the baby with the fly crawling into its mouth . Those sorts of images don’t engender empathy but rather shock the senses and eclipse the message of the video .
I personally believe that there is a highly noxious substance in the barrels because the human & environmental symptoms described are consistent with toxic contact . I was particularly impressed when a local stated that people “ pass out “ if they get to close to leaking barrels . It is a fact that exposure to an overwhelming amount of toxin will cause a person to faint on the spot . This is not generally known so it increases the authenticity of the claims made .
Unsafe dumping of toxic waste is in my opinion one of the most morally egregious crimes perpetrated in modern society because it has unmitigatable effects upon human beings and our planet Thank you for helping to raise awareness of this urgent and ruinous practice . It is in my opinion a crime against humanity and should be treated as such by the developed nations of the world .
