Pretty sure we all know that. My point is that bachiras face was not focused on during nor after the other teams copied counter attack.
Seeing Nagi early in the series again is nice. He pulls some crazy stuff later on.

Also Nagi isn't really boasting when he say it was easy and wondering why people can't do it. For him it's just instinct alone, so he really doesn't know why people can't just do it on a whim like he does.
Yeah he doesn't understand the concept of hardwork and practice. For him is that you either have that ability and if you can't then make your life easier by giving up.
Really makes him stand out from how he is in the latest chapters
@@malanala7371 I think he understands the concepts but his expectation of what hard work should produce is much more. i think he thinks of himself as the baseline of what normal is.
@@Thzordz You're not entirely wrong in thinking that he probably sees himself as the norm. The spinoff novel describes Nagi as an unconscious genius, so he's not aware that what he does is considered out of the ordinary. He even monologes how he can't understood the feeling of his classmates who study hard and worry over tests. In his dialogue it says if he wants to remember something then he can. Novel really adds on just how out of touch Nagi really was before meeting Reo and Isagi.
Basically the same trope in any sports anime,but they basically gave him all the time in the world where was the press, no one around him at all, can that not read the game.
The sound design is absolutely INSANE! Just the sound that plays when the ball stops dead gives me tingles!

A lot of love definitely went into this anime by the studio on every last detail, from the animation, to even the sound effects. Knew it right away from the very first episode just by the timer and player switches alone. Blue Lock did not disappoint

The best part is that Nagi then says the same thing about Isagi after he told him to “shut up”. They really are best duo.
1:00 the sound design for everything is top notch. Loved the sound Nagi got focused, then with when he catch the ball and then when it came to a stop. It's all executed very well.
I keep saying this, the sound design is so good it practically carries the show at times. This includes the OST and the way its used. It all works so well.

Yes, this was not a very important episode, so they saved budget to use for the rest of the match as it is the best and most important match in this 1st selection

The greatest monster is not the one who knows it but the one who doesn't realize it... it's pretty much the Isekai trope character with an unknowingly broken skills/trait who doesn't realize the stuff they do is not normal until pointed out with hard evidence, and even then they don't accept it.

My best boy is finally here showing what he can do in action. He has some of the best plays in this anime. Nagi is calm madman. Can't wait to see more.
I think we can see here another little trait of the character. Although he knows he is naturally gifted in everything he does, unlike other people, but still if feals so easy to him that in the beginning of Blue Lock he kind of didn't understand why people couldn't just be like him. It's like he didn't know that what he did was actually almost impossible, because he is just that naturally good!

hmmm instead of completely stopping in his foot while spinning I would have prefered a more realistic approach of just making a tiny bump on his foot since although this one is exaggerated, makes it seem a bit less dynamic.

Like I'm not saying the series shouldn't be explaining the matches or what's happening I'm not really into football myself so idk much but some flashbacks or inner monologues are way too drawn out. @@flamgirlantquanxi I'll agree that Chigiri backstory was a bit long, but I think this is more because they're setting up for him to be a pretty big player in the overall series. Other than that I think all the episodes have had quite a lot of action, and besides the first 2 minutes all of episode 6 was just the match against team W so.
Oh i get that I'm not a shonenhead that falls asleep when there isn't people screaming or beating each other every two minutes but everything has its place imo. Like Ego's speech in episode or two i think was pretty long but i loved it even tho I don't like football
