- NEW MUSIC INSTAGRAM: @mitchellweeksmusic so for my ap us history class we had to be some sort of celebrity from a decade...and i chose paul mccartney. and i fused together let it be and hey jude for my performance. to find out how to make your teacher cry...watch the video:) thanks! OH BTW...i mess up a few times, so just bear with me!
you know as a teacher that you did a good job. when a student does this for you.
You are a scum bag....all of life is not about sex. She gave him interest in something he previously hated and/or disliked and got him to enjoy school instead of hating it
There is?
Ahmad Redzuan Wut? Are u malay?
1973stefant I’m your 1000th like
Henry Bresyn fuck you bud. Don't tell me what life's about.
As a teacher, it is nice to see kids who appreciate the hard work teachers do.
I teach kinder and first grade and I love the innocence of my students.
I absolutely appreciate teachers who teach the upper grades and the hard work they put in.
Middle school and High school teachers are truly heroes to me.
This young man truly shows the difference a teacher can make.
I HATE TEACHERSSSSS!!!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬
🥵
I rember in grade 2 some kid in class tripped me and when I fell my head it the corner of the desk and I had to go to the hospital for stitches kids are little shits when there parents are not around
Exactly, I appreciate my teachers today I saw my teacher making and posting assignments a 1:00 am and if it’s too much then she does her best to make it understandable and easy
Wow... I believe the Junior School teachers play a big role in every student's education. A Junior school teacher can make a student hate studies or love studies. It is the most stressful job. Middle school and high school teachers has a very relaxed job compared to a Junior School teacher. The stress they go through on a daily basis is something that cannot be imagined. I have a 8 year old son, who is very naughty. It's not that easy to handle him. Just imagine a group of 8 year old children, his teachers has to handle.
I'll give this young man credit, he has talent and the courage to express his appreciation for his teacher and her support.Well Done .
Y’all don’t know how much things like this mean to these teachers. They go through a lot. Hearing genuine appreciation from their students is the best gift they could ever ask for.
as we grow older we tend to think back to the people who helped mold us. Thank you to all the teachers who make an impact on us and give us the love and guidance we need as kids to want to achieve. Mr. Coleman, Mr. Pruitt, Mrs. Hilton, Mrs Hepner, Mr Caudle, Mr Clark, Mr Skelton, and most of all Mr. Keene.... thank you for all you did.
Larry Ford corny asf
Mr. Takerer, Mr Corcoran, Mr. Bishop, Mrs. ellis, Mr.Cartan. Thank you.
I have had my teacher 3 years in a row and he has saved me from drugs, alcohol and self harm, I’m in junior year and he hasn’t told a soul about my personal issues.
Don’t forget Mrs. Puff bro...
U do know theyaintgonna see this right ur so stupid
the best part of watching this is remembering all the great teachers out there that deserves this. You know who you are.
I am sure you made her day.Teachers' satisfaction is not only payday but more about being appreciated .Well done.
Wait wait wait. I'm supposed to be SATISFIED with what I'm paid??
Signed, a teacher
More like made her whole school year
@@sophiafrankenweller7375 wow what a tribute! Could there even be any better?
I can't imagine anything better. Ever.
(Sorry! I meant this for the OP)!
What an amazing serinade...upon one of the the most classic songs, ever! **Wow!**
Great teacher. (Must have been)?
What a fantastic gift towards his teacher! The gift of giving of himself and his time and talent is definitely Honourable
"i would like to serenade you"
what a great kid
Aww, he created a great memory for himself and his teacher! It was a blessing for her. I absolutely loved this video. What a wonderful keepsake this will be.
GOOD JOB!
May God bless them both!
Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
Thank you for having the courage to perform for your teacher and also share it online. I know this video is just a little over 5 years old, but please don't allow others to put you down. You have a talent that is irreplaceable: a talent of touching peoples' hearts in ways they won't forget. I'm sure you've given your teacher a very memorable performance, and I hope you'll continue to share your talents with those close to you.
*My teacher cries when i turn up for class. But they aint tears of joy, lemme tell ya*
Thank you for making me laugh.
Good one!
I can relate to that...wish I could go back and do things a bit different...
Nice 😂🤣
My teachers had the same reactions.
Awwww! Teachers don't usually get told they're appreciated by students so this makes up for that by miles!
**THE WORLD NEEDS MORE TEACHERS LIKE DONNA**
God Bless Her!
aaah tex i’m p sure its Ms. Dunham
Yup its Ms. Dunham
I thought Donna too but I think it’s Ms. Dunham
When a Teacher gives so much.. they are deserving of such an Honor.. Bless you Both..Beautiful Souls Xo
The school system needs more teachers that move their students into fun/creativity. Great job Donna!
Dunham
this is great that a kid loves his teacher because she inspired him to be the best.....
This kid has major guts and courage 💯💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
He should be proud of himself
Good job buddy. Your teacher will remember this moment for life! Really really well done!
Teachers deserve so much more than what they get
it's usually students who have all the moments and take all the memories away with them, but it's nice that this teacher had one given to her. i'm sure it was the highlight of her teaching career.
Respect to this kid, he has so much confidence and guts, good on him. Well done!
I loved my first grade teacher Miss Costa. I came to the US and didn’t speak a lick of English. I cried every day in class. I remember her hugging me and helping me learn. When I got accepted to Columbia University I went back to PS 186 but she no longer worked there :( Wow she must be in her 50’s now
Wonder if COVID got her🤷♂️
@@cs1301 oh shut up you very cool person
@@cs1301 i feel bad for laughing at that
you will never regret whatever efforts it takes to find Miss Costa.
You still remember your 1st grade teacher? Wtf?
So very sweet. There's always that one teacher that makes a lasting impression on you.
sometimes one's heart is worth more than a good singing voice. well done
super76 good thing he has both.
He has a horrible voice.
let it be yeeeeeeeeee oohh let it beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
His style may not be your favorite but musically speaking he sings perfectly fine.
TrueGamingWith Jesgan Nope, definitely not.
"Up next we have Sally playing twinkle twinkle on her recorder"
Lol 😂😂
Lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Stop ✋🏻😭
Poor sally
And he deserves that A, absolutely, his motivation and love for music and his own autonom voice is coming through. The technique will come with time and practice. Motivation is number one. And a good teacher is number 2. He has both - he deserves that A.
We need more Teachers like her to reach out and grab our children and make them feel more about themselves and others. You can tell this teacher went beyond just standing at the chalkboard talking she helped the children lean and thats why they did this for her.
We need more good teachers like her that inspire kids even out of the classroom. Good for her!
i have here right now she is a great teacher
@@raidnasafortnite839I hope she’s better than your English teacher…
I'm a teacher in a secondary school and thanks God my pupils show me their love and gratitude every single day! Actually, this is the only satisfaction I get from this job and the most important reason that pushes me keeping doing it till now! THANK YOU DEAR PUPILS!
♥
Thank you for your service
@@newsupdates3958 You're the most welcome!
Good job young man. I taught for 16 years and when my kids wrote me notes of thanks it made my whole career.
Just wonderful! That teacher 👩🏫 deserves this kind of gratitude towards a teacher who cares and takes her profession seriously! Praise the lord!
wow that was really sweet, good job for making your teacher feel special. I Think every teacher wishes some student would do that to her, made her summer for sure :)
I loved my 4th grade teacher Ms. Ricotta she was a wonderful teacher and think about her often. Every now and again I write to her. After she retired she moved back home to Pennsylvania, you know that old saying you have a friend in Pennsylvania and I certainly do. Thank you Ms. Ricotta.
Awwwwwww
that took guts I know I would not the have the guts to sing in front of the whole student body and to a teacher no less.
that proves that teen has a big heart to god bless him
I remember that my whole class made our teacher cry... that it was because we couldn’t behave and that we were the worst class ever she had! Good memories
Where we in the same class.
Lmfao I've had that class too
And that exact same thing happened to me when i was in FOURTH GRADE.

Jesus Longoria 😂😂 Ok I don't think that's why he did it, but sure that's funny.
When the audience goes silent "its magical ' when others are invited on stage . A really clever, distraction but simply wonderful respect for an influencer ( class dismissed) ❤
kids that get involved in music show higher test scores, discipline, kindness and success in life. Get your kids involved and they can turn out like this too.
Mike Deardorff, that’s really not the case with everyone because I played the drums and my grades were in the crapper only because I hated school and didn’t want to be their.
Piano in particular
@@donaldswink6259 And you proved it with their instead of there.

Learning to sing and play an instrument(s) is always a good idea. Being an all-American and pro athlete is great. They get to enjoy the spotlight for a few years. Those who know how to sing and play instruments can play for several decades.🧬
Great Work Kid, every kid needs at least one teacher to have a great impact on them, and to show how you feel about it is awesome. Kudos.
Thank you to our teachers for their hard work and dedication for making me as the one that I'm now become.
This is absolutely beautiful. I hope that kid went on to do great things in life.
Great way to honor your teacher we need more kids like this teachers deserve to be honored God Bless them
Adorable. Teacher is so moved by his appreciation.
How sweet. She's really cute and charming up there, in the spotlight. Every teacher's dream!
I played November Rain, my math teachers Wedding song, in front of her after I graduated and she cried and hugged me. I adore this video, you killed it!
What a fabulous way to think outside of the box. If a teacher can reach even just one child the year has been successful! Way to go Donna!
Amazing, you can literally feel the emotion coming off him in waves.
More of our teachers need to be appreciated like this ❤
Not the libtard and woke ones
DISCLAIMER: Definitely got an A!
Alpaca de Beats screw these guys man, you killed it. Also I bet you could kill some Green Day or MCR
Dope
1) why not?
Jokes are fine when obviously jokes. Assumptions can cause trouble. For me, your disclaimers were not needed. In her place, I would have given an A for the obvious preparation and the courage shown to go on when nerves caused you to lose track on the piano part; not for the compliments laced with criticism. Good job. Keep playing and singing, even if only for yourself.
You're a good man...your parents must be proud!
Props for having the guts to do that, can't be easy to write, play, and sing to your teacher, in front of your class mates.. Wish more folks took the time to make someone's day. Well done. (and you are right, lectures are harsh)
Why wasn’t everyone in the audience “naaahh nah nah nah nah nah naaahhhh-ing” along? Pretty sure that was the idea.
I thought the same thing but remembered they might not have known the song. They are young. Ha!
God bless you!
Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
Yeah, there might be two other kids in that room who‘ve even heard of the Beatles.
Rule. It's the rule,
They got carried away with heartwarming feelings
Just spoilt the whole thing for me......lol
If he actually took the time to put all those words together to match that song for you that's a wonderful way to teach a kid you did a great job and so did he
What a great kid. Wish there were more like him. Great sense of humor
This teared me up, too. I also had a great history teacher in school. Had him freshman year first hour. New school. Nervous. He was such a great way to start the day, because he was hilarious. He cracked us up so much and we had such fun. He's gone now, but I will remember him. I love this video, and you were fab (as in "Fab Four") to do this for her. Kudos.
That was so creative and personal. Some teachers change lives and perspective at such a crucial stage of life. They’re so underrated.
Showing respect, and admiration at it's best. I would be a proud parent, and I'm sure she is a proud teacher, as she got threw to this one obviously.
What an awesome unforgettable tribute to miss Donna. Congrats young man, true Artist! 🙏🏻💗🌹
What a fantastic way to honor your teacher!
Yep.
Nicely done, young man! My music teacher (50 years ago) had a profound and lasting impression om my life. I'm sure that your performance will be a memory to cherish for your teacher
Every teacher should be this memorable
sadly they are not : (
but now and again, we get a great one : )
We shouldn't have even gone to a "state run" school in the first place. : (
Because now, in 2019, we are a nation of dopes : (
think about it.... there are people in "college" in 2019 that think and believe, that there are more than two genders for the human race
THINK ABOUT THAT ...lol
Now that is the best way to show a teacher that you appreciate the time and energy they have put in to teach you. Well done!!
And that, kids, is one of the few ways to make your teacher cry that is golden.
His voice has a really nice and warm color. I think a little bit of vocal couching would turn him into a very good singer if he worked on his range, the breathing and finding a way to keep the tone straight.
He does have potential. It’s obvious that he needs some work on his voice, but if he continues to practice there’s no reason why he couldn’t be a decent singer before long.
@@KalElKentPhoto 100% agree
This was wonderful. A moment neither one of them will ever forget. I cried too. lol 🥰
I thoroughly enjoyed what you did called your Teacher to serenade your Teacher with the song you’ve composed is dedicated to her it’s awesome I think she’s happy and proud of you, I’m laughing as well because of your Teacher reactions was a surprised for her never realised she has to be on stage, you’ve done a good job I like it
She'll always remember this moment, hahahaha!
Gordon We're too ...
He's adorable AF and made a memory she'll keep for life.
I was a teacher for many years. Taught middle school special education math and alternative learning students. It's pretty surprising what students will do to show appreciation for the teacher when the teacher does their job as if they actually care for the students.
I usually left my door open when I would leave for lunch or had a period off. I often came back to notes from from students on my desk, sometimes candy, a drink from the machine outside because I might have mentioned what my favorite drink was, etc. It varied. I didn't always know who it was coming from. Sometimes I suspected who it was because I knew the schedules of my students so I knew who would be on what floor and close by enough to leave something on the desk.
But it didn't matter. As a teacher who just wanted to show kids who hated learning more than most kids and likely had less support than most other kids, I was happy that there was some resemblance of appreciation from any of my students.
I'm a 35 year old disabled combat vet... and if a student would've done this for me, I likely would've teared up, too. I've teared up simply for one sentence notes saying "Have a good day, Mr. Hewett!"
So... as a teacher, speaking for all teachers, thank you for taking time to be creative with the work your teacher gave you in a way that also showed appreciation.
Awesome comment...the candy, soft drinks, notes were THEIR song to a THEIR beloved teacher. Thank you, Sir, for your service to our county, military and in the classroom. Your students obviously know how much you care for and about them.
I have an intelligent and personable young family member who struggled with learning disabilities. In high school, he had special ed for two subjects. When he reached his senior year, he was in all mainstream classes, thanks to the dedication of his fine special teacher. He was one elective class short that year. When he was told he needed to select an additional class, he, literally, ran straight to his special ed teacher to ask permission to be her aide for the year. THAT was HIS seranade to HER. That and his graduation diploma. Thanks to you all who have special patience with those very special students who work the hardest and get the least recognition! Kudos, ad infinitum to you! The families (and students) are eternally grateful.
I play several instruments and music is my soul and heartbeat. When he opened I was moved like I would be while roaming between campsites at the Moonshiners Reunion Music Festival playing along with hillbillies & angels to songs I may have not heard before that can sucker punch your screaming feelings. He accepted his current abilities humbly and then dgaf. Amazing how, while he sang with courage and heart, he carried the tune very well as his pitch wavered above and below target shakingly, he was perfecting imperfection, and I wish he continued.
I have heard the most beautiful, soulful singing from grainy straining vocal chords shamelessly missing the right notes but nailing every right emotion. They sing it anyway because real music isn't supposed to be a stale classical piano competition where top honors go to the most boring clones. Real music gets your focus, takes the lead, and let's you feel someone else's heart beating in your chest.
Wow. No comments on this yet? Your post is spot on. When you can feel someone else's heart... that is the best music!!
💙 👍
My absolute two favorite Beatles songs...Thanks, this was a real pick me up.Great spoof and what a courageous young entertainer. I hope he has navigated life's highway to a place of happiness.
This is how I remember school. Unity, talent and great teachers. What a great video. Good on you for doing this.
In high school i made a teacher cry with an essay i wrote it was about loneliness. Not sure why it was about that i dont remember anymore. Anyways i dont remember if she was reading them to the class or was making us read it out loud all i remember is that she started crying after it was done. I didnt know what to do i was super shy back then i didnt like standing out so i just stayed quiet but everyone else was also very quiet. I never knew why she started crying but now that im older and im reminder of that day i sometimes wonder if she had maybe lost a loved one or got divorced right around that time so it was still fresh when that essay was read out loud. I know its wrong to think this but sometimes i think damn i must of been good at writing essays back then lol
Junior, maybe she was hurting thinking you were hurting
Teachers; in my opinion, are the backbone of society. Without them we would have no society to speak of. They do more than hard work, they give of themselves and everything comes from within. Thank you to ALL teachers who help make this world a better place for everyone.
Lame
Well C. Michael, see if you can do a better job at teaching the children. I know I can't, I only know that I raised two very fine children that made me proud. But the teachers that they had were very dedicated and without them my children would not get far in life.
As a scouser “let it be” has always had a special place in my heart.
I use to sing like this to my teacher at my Catholic school , he was a priest .
He always appreciated it so much . I know this because every morning before school started , he would help me tuck my shirt in !!
Thanks again Father Peter Johnson
Yep for me Father Rogers (Yes that was his real name). Though normally he was blocked(drunk) .
How to never get below an "A" in class lol.
maori
In California, the teacher would have been disciplined for accepting a hug from a student!
let it be yeeeeeeeeee oohh let it beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
really....that's crazy :-)
+andrew petrou lol at your hand-made emoji 😂 :-)
Soon as he struck the first rift, I knew the song, but wow, how it turned comic when he did the parody to "Hey Jude".. Great job dude!
WHAT A PERFECT SONG! The Beatles WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!!!!
i just can't remember any teachers at my local comp who really helped me in anything, but it was in the 60's and 70's, a different time. i was a reasonably talented cyclist who trained with the national squad and the school didn't give any help or encouragement so i stopped asking. A comfort was that when i was mid 20's i was earning double what they were at half their age, through my own efforts in learning computing, a subject they didn't teach at any level anyway, so i can respect teachers that go the extra mile, i'm sure it must make a big difference. GL
Here's to Mr. Beaton and Mrs. Hawk, two of the best teachers I ever had.
There is nothing better than a good teacher.
Teacher that get this is a teacher that had done a great job with her class ..wish we had more Donna's in all the schools ..Bless u for showing your appreciation for her....God bless u for being a wonderful person..
What a nice thing to do for your teacher. Kudos to you, you did great!
Guaranteed made that teacher's year!
In 1971, my high school band class was to play "Pomp And Circumstance" for the graduating class. A few of the class members and I had formed up a small group, doing Blood, Sweat and Tears numbers, as well as Chicago and other popular music. We played at local Friday night "TeenTown" gigs. Lots of fun. We got together and re-wrote some lyrics for "Heidi-Ho," by BS&T for our band teacher. Her name was Heidi Sharpe and was having a tough time. We set it up with the graduation committee to play the song just before the graduation song. Heidi was already on the stage with us, and was visibly annoyed we deviated from the program...until Rod started singing the lyrics we had written for her. She fell apart. It was beautiful. Will remember the performance for life!
The young man in this video made an indelible mark on two lives, at least. His and Donna's. Well done!
I need to go by my old middle school. Those teachers did so much to shape me as a person. That's a sacrifice of a job. I feel like I need to show them the impact they had on me.
so i went to centennial many many many years ago now and this just goes to show how years pass but mrs. dunham she never changes. brings back some great memories.
He definitely made her day. This was so sweet
He’s a such an amazing singer and pianist!
I would’ve cried too if I were his teacher
I love the vid, but I love the fact that in the beginning the one kid joked that they needed even more people to mess things up reminds me of every high school talent show, the "host" is some junior or senior who everyone finds cringey and funny...brings nostalgia
if u think that kid was cringy u lack some sense of humour
@@Momo-bb2fn I thought it was incredibly cringy. Yet it made me laugh. That is my sense of humor, definitely was not trying to sound like an asshole
