Amazing Robbie, what a joy to watch you and your family build this house and studio. Looking forward to following your journey and can't wait to hear the studio in action!
Maximum respect for your effort and endurance building this amazing place. It’s so nice to see the studio taking shape and knowing that you will soon be able to again create some great new music in there 🤩
I discovered your channel back when you had the studio in Berlin.. I was blown away with your ability to re-create all those classic songs and sounds... Just as impressed with this huge project you're undertaking.. I've been renovating my house with recording studio attached, and I've been loving the weekly updates. Super inspiring!! Thank you! 😎🤘
Aww thanks a lot! I was always a bit embarrassed that I took a music channel and suddenly turned it into a building channel.. happy that finally the two things are starting to converge again, thanks for your support!
Hi, I am really enjoying the build in this epic structure. Its going to be a great destination for anyone who wants to record in a unique studio. Looking forward to the next installment. great work. stay safe J.
What a monster project, loving every minute of it 👌🏼 Just renovated a house from the ground up and I know that exact feeling when you’re doing a lot of work without visible progress… Yes it’s a lot of work but having the roofs, foundations, floors, isolation done properly (like you’re doing) just gives peace of mind in the long run.
Been following your videos since the studio days in Berlin and it has been really great to watch (as a musician and architect) this process as it develops and morphs into something very unique! You are doing an incredible job and its been a pleasure to accompany it! Hope i will get the chance to record there one day and until then, a hug from Portugal.
Amazing journey. Really fun to follow. I love "close" buy (Copenhagen) so if you ever do an Open House, I'll pop by ;-) Was wondering if you also plan to build an inner ceiling on the ceiling...? From what I can see in all your videos there is no extra inner ceiling and with the ceiling wood looking so nice, I don't expect you will do it. Is this not necessary or just too complicated?
Hey thank you! The house is open anytime you feel like a visit.. yeah the ceiling is staying as is, there’s really not much noise around here except the occasional light aircraft, it would be way too complicated to float an extra ceiling, plus with the big struts holding the roof up there would always be many mechanical connections.. I figure a double wall to the outside is at least better than nothing and I’ll just have to keep my fingers a bit crossed 🤞
The feeling of watching these videos is somewhere between an unboxing video and how it felt to play Minecraft as a teenager

I would love to support this channel and the project, regardless of if there is bonus content :)
This has become my favorite YT show, can't wait to see it when it's done.

how are you planning to run wiring? outside of wall, or inside wall? raceway, or loose?
I have already laid all the conduit in the floors before we poured the concrete..
oh my god! i hope you use fiber optic cables
How come?
