Solid world!
Yall small and deep at the same time lol
I have never heard of the show "Good Times". Us Canadians born in the 1980s grew up watching all-black or mostly black casts via Diff'rent Strokes, Family Matters,The Cosby Show, Arsenio Hall, a Different World, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and In Living Color. I watched them all with my grandmother. She approved of those shows and thought they had good content and appropriate "messaging" for kids/teens. She thought the "barking" and fist pumping from Arsenio was a bit odd, but she thought it was a very funny show regardless.
She did not approve of me watching the other popular cool kids shows like Baywatch, Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, Who's the Boss, Family House, and Charles In Charge. She watched them a few times with me, but she didn't like the content and thought they had poor morals and inappropriate content for kids/teens (she was born in 1921) so I was eventually banned from watching all of those shows. She didn't even like me watching Saved by the Bell, but she let me watch it sometimes because some of my friends parents said they thought it was ok. She eventually just said no after seeing stuff she didn't agree with.
Oh well. I don't think I missed out on anything important or special. I just got made fun of by the popular kids at school because I wasn't up to date on all the "cool shows". Whatevs. \o/
Ah another Channel that bought subscribers lol.
