Thanks so much for the Rolling Quartrz reaction!
Thanks for Watching!
Love these women.
My favorite so far is their live video of 'Rock And Roll Paradise'. Take a look at that one. Jayoung has such a voice for rock'n'roll.
Really appreciate the suggestion and thanks for watching @785boats!
These ladies bring it! Great Band!
Thanks for Watching!
I think you'd appreciate Azalea, a cover of another Korean rock artist. They have little original stuff to date, but what they have is great: Delight, Blaze, Holler are some of their original songs that I like.
Really appreciate the suggestion and thanks for watching @oliphant2848!
Any of their ive stuff is killer. They fund raise with live streams that go out in English, Korean and Spanish thanks to backers/students in Seoul. Oh and every gig they have to "Sound better than we look." They do that! wether it;'s for 200 in Seattle, or over 2000 at an outdoor gig in Toronto, or 400 in Berlin
Awesome info, appreciate it!
Really enjoyed this video. Wouldn't quite put them up there with Band Maid or The Warning, but clearly talented
They def know how to play up their image. ♥ all the colors. Kudos to their wardrobe peeps too!
I was impressed with them!
Good solid (studio sound), but I like a more honest look (their appearance). Does anyone know if they kill it live, or don't meet expectations? Just critiquing what I see and hear - don't hate; appreciate.
I will let their fans answer the specifics because this is all I know of them. Thanks for watching!
I really like the Rolling Quartz, as long as I don't have to look at them. They have fallen into the trap that it's more important that they look sexy than anything else. It's painful to see them try so hard to be sexy that it becomes a turn-off. In the process you're forgetting that they actually sound great. It's the total opposite to Band-Maid, who dress as maids (without showing any skin) and manage to make you totally forget about everything but their joy of playing and their music.
It's a Korean thing... They seem to have fun with it, and who is to judge how much skin a woman can show? Certainly goes over well with their audience. Not a few lesbians among them, I hear.
Not the opposite of band maid. I have seen Band Maid 16 times and Rolling Quartz 11. Love both bands. The difference in look is because BM is Japanese and RQ is Korean. Simple as that. The members of both bands make their wardrobe and style decisions on their own. No one is forced to look a certain way.
Band Maid are obviously more experienced and technicaly better musicians but RQ is way ahead when it comes to fan service and fan interaction. Both bands are amazing to watch live and each one has its different style. Both bands are number 1 for and i will travel the world to see them live.
@@Derekcstevenson I don't care if they come from Korea or from Mars, they still look ridiculous and are just embarrassing to watch. Just like some male band trying to look macho, but end up looking silly. In that way RQ are the opposite to B-M. RQ still sound good though, so it's a shame.
@@nussekuddenxxx6564 I'd have to agree with Derek and I can tell you first hand both bands put on a hell of a good show, and look good in their individual way doing it.
@@PANIC_aka_PinD I never said they did not put on a show! I just said it looks ridicules and awkward.
