Also you can turn the controller on pull on the trigger just a little and hold it while turning the car on this fools the ESC no more delay you have to do it a few times to get the correct trigger pull for perfect running with no delay
I heard that if you do the special wltoys dance before you pull the trigger that it's fixed 🙄. Seriously how could they bring this on the market like this?
just got my 144010 today, very dissapointed with throttle delay. swapped over to 144001 controller and heaps better. blue wheel radio 4 digit number, tried that on my 144001 & yep delay as well. so its definitely the radio. this model wltoys car unbeatable for bashing, have done close to 90 charges on batterys & pushing it really hard big jumps landing on concrete plus abuse from my two grand kids. have only had two replace brushed motor & keep screws and bolts tight. My expensive carpet racing cars wouldn,t take the same abuse. cheers
I bought the one ending in 17 version 2 and it is my first "real" rc car. Arrived yesterday, and I noticed the throttle delay. My controller does infact have only 4 numbers like yours that also have delay. Yeah maybe I have to buy another controller. Thanks for the video! Greetings from Sweden!
Been waiting for someone to make this video.. what i did is swap the electronics of an old controller to the stock remote.. makes so much difference.. for the 144010
I believe they advanced the timing on the v2. Which is what got rid of the cogging issue. Great find on this controller issue, as I have not opened my version 2 yet. I will definitely check that out! Thanks my friend! Really awesome channel! Keep up the great content!👊🏼💯🔥✌🏻😃
G'day mate, just watched you show about delay on 144010 , got my new 144010 bloody grouse or what, doesn't have any delay at all, stock controller has a sticker number 2266 where you showed us.WL Toys may have fixed that problem, they sure have taken faults in hand, good on you WL Toys if you read this. Keep up the good and interesting work mate thanks Peter
I got my 144010 v2 yesterday with a four digit number on the tx. Very bad throttle delay is what I get… I will try binding it to my Dx5 tomorrow and see if the delay dissapears
Put a Dumbo RC system in everything. with the X6FG Receiver ensuring you activate Gyro...You only need around 20%. Its a game changer for all RC's for under 50 bucks. 500m range, Zero lag.
There was also a suggestion made, that rebinding the controller might help. And other yt video claimed its actually an esc fault. They're very cheap components and a person had replaced esc, got delay solved this way. Esc was acting like a working esc
Yeah just got a 144010, it has a delay. It doesn't bother me in the park at all. I did notice it when it tried to test it slowly in the house when I first got it and couldn't drive it slow or smooth. However I don't really drive this car slow anyway.
The delay is massively annoying. So I bought a Dumbo radio for it. I have both the 124017 v2 and the 140010 (also v2 electrics) and they both have the delay which is why I completely ditched the factory radio system.
Just got mine today. Indeed a throttle delay. I just start slow and then it's fine. Ran great. At the end, the throttle stopped but the steering still worked. No bashing, had the speed turned down to get used to the delays. Did something break or was the battery just low? Steering was fast but no throttle.
@@noobrccars4392 Yes, I tried it again today after recharging and it worked just fine. My other wltoys rc runs until it's dead dead. No steering with no throttle issue. I'm just glad it's not broken bc I lack Kevin Talbot level repair skills lol.
Hi, My new brushless 144010 arrived yesterday and there is a delay on the throttle. Its impossible to make corrections over jumps! I have a blue wheel transmitter with the code "0542". Its a cracking little car once you pull the trigger and it starts moving.
Unfortunately I think it affects them all. I think the cheapest option is to get an original transmitter which should solve the problem. Hope your having fun with it though.
I should receive the 144010 in the next few weeks, fingers crossed, so any improvements I can make are most welcome. Could you dial this delay out with a programme card?
I have a 124016 and it has the exact same issue. I’m not new to re, but I am new to the world of rc cars. I let my friend drive the car and the first thing he noticed was the delay
Mine doesn’t. Have tried many times and different combinations: holding button on receiver then turning it on, then turning on the transmitter. Otter way round. Not holding the button. Etc. no luck. Any ideas?

I believe, the reason why WLTOYS so cheap, because they put cheap tech transmitter and esc. Has to be a faulty TX. You've tested every other permutation. Frustrating .... It would be good to get code off others with same issue ..eg is 4 digit code an indication of a problem TX
Thank you so much. I bound my 144001 controller to the 144010 and it worked, no more lag. And when I bound the 144010 controller to the 144001 there's no lag. Win win

To put it in bind mode there is a button on the receiver if you hold it down and then turn the power on it will be in bind mode.
