Thank you for making this. It was so helpful! I switched from android to iOS and I felt so silly trying to figure out how to navigate through my apps 😅
@@_lalabell_559 it was definitely a challenge at first but within a day or so I was already getting used to the navigation. I do miss a couple features android has but overall im glad I switched 😊
Watching this in April 2024 bc I just upgraded to a regular 15. Didn’t get the Pro this year but I’m happy with my decision. Totally in love with the all black 15 😍
I ordered the iph5s and sent it right back because of the hassles just logging in. This OS seems just as frustrating coming from android. I think I will stick with android 👏👏
Same. I hated the transition. After 6 months, Iphone still frustrates me. Android (samsung oneUI particularly) is soo much friendlier and let's you do things without hustle
I've never used an iphone before and i recently bought the iphone 15 plus and i really like it so far, the only problem for me is that it's way more expensive in my country than in the US(i bought it for 2 200bgn-$1000 in the US ) It's almost equal price for the 15 pro max
Ok,so I got my first iph,and it's iph 15 pro max.I have this question....do I need to use the Icloud, like am i obligated to use it,or i can use the Gmail, googke drive, etc. Like to use App store you need to connect with an id,right? Can i use Gmail as an id on app store?
I have been using samsung for a long time and I have decided to try out apple. Now I'm not entirely switching because I still have my s24 ultra, but I did buy the iPhone 15 just to see how it is. After playing around for a bit I realized that I needed help navigating lol. So thanks for the video and all the helpful hints!
@TOMMYBautista-zx5cs Overall, I prefer the s24 ultra. It just does more, but then again, I only have the basic iPhone 15. I do find myself taking more pictures with the iPhone than Samsung because the pictures do look better, plus the speakers to me sound better as well.
Slow down - so beginners can follow you! I've watched 4 videos showing how to use an iPhone. Only one was really helpful. The others were by technicians who do not know how to TEACH!
Doesn't really matter. Its not like the older cellphones or other electronic devices where you had to fully charge the battery for a few hours before use.
I don't want to hit this too hard, it's a great video I appreciate very much, 👍given. It's only... something (dynamic island) can't be both glitchy/weird and awesome. 🤷♂
mine came with these little booklets which i think told me nothing useful at all. Mine doesnt hae that antenna band. it's an iphone 5plus. I find the way you are getting out. oure not dragging that app you're juest swiping the bottom corner diagonally up. great video. xxx
My problems is that, I came from different phone which was a motorla phone and had lot problems with. Now trying to figure out how to download fitness apps without paying for it, I can't seem to find any free apps in apple store . Does all the apps cost in the apple store?
There are free apps, but most of them either have ads or limited functionality unless you pay for the full version or for a subscription. Not all apps on Android are available on iOS and vice versa.
Hi there i want to buy a iphone 15 plus but for the life in me i cant find out if you have your phone thats been sat for a while and u haven't noticed i missed call or message that you have received can you see the notification without having to touch the phone. Thanks
I'm watching this because I've had andriod my whole life and my aunt decided to give my gran her old iPhone so she had a mobile phone. But because I'm the family tech monkey, I'm the one that has to teach her how to use it 😫
I notice a lot of people are android users trying to figure out how to use an iPhone because they switched. I’m in the same boat. I absolutely hate Apple products but was coerced to switch to an iPhone from android because nearly all my family members have an iPhone. I have to tell you, iPhone really sucks coming from long term android use. Aside from absolutely limited customization, a lot of the simple things android does are over complicated and underperformed by iPhone. 1: The keyboard. Specifically the punctuation. All your punctuation marks are on a secondary page, so it’s very off putting trying to write a sentence and then switching over to another page of the keyboard just to add a comma or even a period. Why not just have it on the same page as the letters? But then I remember that iPhone is more for the younger generation that don’t use punctuation anyways so of course, why bother having it there? *edit* I found that the “smart punctuation”, if enabled, lets you double tap the space key to add a period as well as a space to start the new sentence. Still though, do people not like using commas, exclamation or question marks? 2: Widgets are horrible. I’m trying to add a widget of my most used contacts but the widget is HUGE with no way of making it smaller. A widget of one contact takes up a 2x2 space. Why can’t it just be a widget as small as the other apps on the phone? The widget that allows the most contacts (which is only 6 contacts) takes up half the homepage! How can a page allow up to 24 apps but a contacts widget that allows only 6 contacts take up half the page!? 3: Adding favorites from your contacts. Whereas android lets you just add a favorite contact and clicking on that contact brings up the various ways to contact them (text, phone, email), the iPhone wants you to choose which method of contact you want as a favorite. Either texting as favorite, calling as favorite or email as favorite. If you want all 3, then your favorites folder ends up looking like an unorganized mess with multiple favorites of the same contacts. Why not just have ONE favorite contact that has access to all contact methods? Too simple for iPhone, eh? 4: I like my apps configured in a certain way. A sort of “feng shui” if you will. And that configuration often has blank spaces on my home pages. iPhone does not allow you to do that. All their apps have to, nay, MUST be arranged in subsequential order. It itches my nerves to see only one app on the line with the rest of the line empty because I can’t put that one app in the middle to make it even for my ocd. But to also have an entire page full of apps, in my mind, looks like a cluttered mess. *will edit and update when I find more crap about this phone*
I am an Android user considering to switch to iPhone but honestly these problems you pointed out dont really bother me, so I am still considering the iPhone
Buying an iPhone 15 Pro Max has turned into a nightmare. I bought the phone. It, of course, is not charged. It does not come with a charging brick. And from what I'm seeing on RUclips, I can't use any charging brick. It must be a brick that serves this phone. In other words, it may not be safe to use other charging bricks I have around the house and office. The Apple Store online can't get me a charger, nor anything else, for at least two days. And because the phone is so delicate, Titanium MAYBE, but it's Titanium covered in glass. Apparently, it would be harder to break a cartoon of eggs than the glass bottom of this phone. A tad too much pressure and the bottom cracks. Now, I'll also have to buy some kind of hardened case. Folks, do yourself a favor, go buy something else. Google. Samsung, Whatever!
Yes no and maybe. It really depends on you. iOS is generally straightforward and doesn't give you nearly as many customization options as you can with Android. Whether or not that's an issue is up to you. Apple generally has the mindset of "my way or the highway".
If you're in the US and have a US iPhone 15, there is no SIM card slot. Apple did away with it in favor of an e-SIM. If you're outside of the USA, I believe the SIM card slot is on the bottom left edge of the phone.
