I was most excited about the new looping features, but not excited enough to shell out $350 or more sadly. I wish this could have been a software update since my kp3 still works fine.
When, when, when will you release a KP4?! This gear is on of the most versatile and useful I haver had. I almost used it in every situation on stage...but it's clearly out of date. You relesead e new electribe, so why not releasing a new Kaoss Pad!?
@@soacker25 only to say one example: that the kaosspad 3+ does not follow tempochanges by midi. Its a amazing Maschine still, but clear out of date. Midi and usb connection update would allready make a big diffrenz. Longer Loop possebilitys would also be no problem today. We can do this a hole day.
Does anybody know if there is update for KP3+ too? I guess it works almost the same @1.0, except for the left side of the touch remains on while looping. I tried to update to v2 using OSX 11 but does recognize. Using windows7-64 gives an error.
Does anyone have suggestions about other hardware fix that do rhythmic bpm synced effects that would compliment analog or digital synths and modular gear? Eurorack included. I just want to see if there’s anything I’m overlooking that does these type of fx but isn’t quite as much of a “do it all” multi fx unit , rather does a few fx really well.
I have some dead effects on my KP3. The whole grain shift block can't be used anymore (sound cuts out until I release the pad again) but all the other effects still work as they should. This is serious because the grain effects are the ones I use most of the time. So I wanted to do a factory reset but as it seems there is no way to do this. I've read some posts about this here in the forums and as it seems noone has found a way to get the Kaoss Pad back on track. So what now? Is it broken? I am pretty unhappy about this...any advices? edit: Importing samples from computer to the KP seems to be broken too. Also Synth programms react like 1,5 seconds after I press the pad. wow...something went terribly wrong -.- edit 2: Tried the "1. Press 1 and 2 and Sampling while powering on the KP3. 2. PrLD will appear in the LED. 3. C will be on, D will be flashing. 4. Press D. 5. urt will flash in the LED. 6. P.off will then appear in the LED. 7. Power off and on the KP3, enjoy factory reset goodness." - Method. Still the same issues. :/
I bought a used KP3 (not plus version) and have same problem and also pitchshifter dont work. tried factory reset and it not helped too. Did you solved your problem?
Thats it? You are kidding me.... Why not an update for the KP3 non+? We were not waiting for this after all those years... This nails Korg to my "companies not to buy from" list for sure now. After having my KP3 crashing at live gigs (completely dead), the fader getting broke after a while and my electribe power socket getting a really bad slack joint I feel pretty exploited. Oh yeah... and I had my electribe also going completely dead live once. junk products...
i love my kp3s even the 1 with the broken fader! all worn battered and over used but still working!!! you know what tho ..... thats a poor excuse for a new product kp3 PLUS what? KORG sort it out!! ... how you gonna stay in the game when you just released a 6 yr old machine and upset your followers. lets face it the QUAD wasnt even new in idea and technology. this kp3 + is like the new boss loopstation = falling behind. if you boys cant invent what we want why dont you ask us what we want :(

@@drfluffy3983 what do you mean it doesn't follow tempo changes by MIDI? Of course it does, the tempo is transmitted to the KP3 via the MIDI In
@@Claidheambmor yeah, it becomes tempo over midi, but doesn`t react to later changes. You need to control evertime when you change it.
