    nice video, makes me want a kp3 for effects, already have another hardware for the sound source so the kaossilator pro might be redundant for me

      The kaossilator pro is pretty limited in terms of actually composing music - the touch pad is really unreliable so it's hard to play a consistent part the same way for more than a bar. It's fun, but I wouldn't recommend it as a centerpiece for making music.

    great vid! love the vibe. So these things have basically a four track looper build in, is that correct?
    Can I sample/loop stuff from the Mic-In? like guitar etc.?

      @OffShiftProductions  3 года назад +1

      That's exactly right. I'm working on a video to show how to use effects and sample with a guitar. It gets tricky with a guitar because you need to have a hand free to operate the Koassilator or KP3. Thanks for watching!

      @@OffShiftProductions subscribed and looking forward! Very cool of you to get into that old piece of hardware. I have been checking out so many grooveboxes (circuit, electribe, mpc..) but they all lack some simple looping functionality for external audio. It's so weird that only the Kaossilator/KP3 comes close to my needs.

    You can’t use midi clock to keep devices bom sync?

    • @OffShiftProductions
      @OffShiftProductions  4 года назад +3

      You definitely can - I just didn't do it in this video. If you have your looping in the KP3 set to be continuous in each bank then the two devices should never be out of sync.

    Can't you sync the tempo with midi?
