Just saw the movie for the first time this past week. Not the best, but pretty good. The flying scenes were impressive overall. Some of the acting wasn't great; Michael Moriarty was more or less miscast, though he was adequate. I also felt the 1903 flight wasn't treated with the reverence it should have been given. But the movie is proof that a movie on the Wrights would make for a great film, if made on a good budget, and with a some top-notch cast!

The crashes never happened I think. It was pretty realistic when wilbur, on the 1900 glider crashed and the elevator dug in. made me jump.
