I like the little character arc at the start where shortcat is negative and focusing on his mistakes then decides to stop caring and just have fun then immediately getting two wins in a row.
I was second guessing everything I did! Once I got back into "making a fun video" mode, that was my focus and I wasn't able to overthink 😅

Actually that's a good point! Maybe it was good for me that 2 of my bad tracks showed up at once. I'm normally really good at the first 4, and that might have had me doubting myself

The character development this episode is fantastic.
The usual mc, happy, upbeat, carefree etc then he takes some L’s and is down but with the help of his team mate he bounces back and does better than ever, with a few hiccups along the way

I know others pointed it out already, but I appreciate how genuine you always are, especially here. It's nice to see someone being honest about their performance anxiety and I hope you know we're not solely watching you because of your skill, we like you as a person. It might be silly, but seeing you let go of that pressure and just enjoy yourself really connected with me. I'm also trying to have fun without overthinking people's expectations or perception of me, which I struggle with. Maybe I'm looking too deep into it, but I feel like this can apply to so many other aspects of your life outside of gaming. On another note, I got the guts to show up to an irl event and got second place in my first MK tournament yesterday! Thanks for your positivity, keep it up! :)

legit dude shortcat is the reason i went out and got a switch with MK8 just under a week ago i love kart racers as a whole and wanted to try my hand at online, im doing pretty good so far but it all started with Shortcats vids, and ive learned so much aswell in the process of watching the guides, always a legend in my eyes
From the moment you started racing I could hear how nervous you were. Then that guy hit the dry bones and the stress just went away. Amazing job Shortcat!! I would love to see more lounge!
