Okay so here’s some helpful points of reference for y’all: 1. The “pill” they took in the photoshoot was actually a rock. The superhero they’re portraying in the photoshoot is called Darna, and the way she transforms is she swallows a magical rock (idk the origin, but we love a queen without a gag reflex). 2. T.I.T.E. (pronounced Tea-Tey) is actually tagalog for dick. (I cry-laughed when i saw this part tbh). 3. In the lip sync, Prince was doing the actual choreography of the song (which was actually a gay cultural phenomenon in the Philippines). So it looked like Lady Morgana was in her concert and Prince was a background dancer lol. 4. Mama Paw is the best host in any drag race franchise, no contest. 5. Flores de Mayo in the Philippines is actually based on religion, not much on flowers (idk why). It’s usually young women dressed in Ternos on a parade with the arches filled with flowers (hence the runway set-up with the pit crew). 6. It’s funny Alexis said the Philippines is fun because we literally have a tourism slogan that says “It’s more fun in the Philippines” Love that y’all are doing DR PH. Just know that if y’all don’t finish the season, it’s racist 🥴 Side note: I feel gaslit that nobody said a word about xhiloutte wearing literally the same hair for four looks in the first episode.

Technically Soju is South Korean too but like other queens who have spent most of their lives in the USA I didn't really count them (but there's a few).
My favorite part of this episode, banter wise, was the lube safety seal dress construction and how dry are you?!... bit. You two really give me life each week. ❤️

Can I just say, what Viñas' entrance look (the towel) is kind of nostalgic and meaningful. Most of the gay kids used towel as a dress or gown, and hair! Yes it's just a towel but in our thoughts it's a gown! We were princesses! 😍

Paolo Ballesteros (Mama Pao) is very talented. He is an international award-winning actor who won for his portrayal of Trisha in the movie Die Beautiful. He won in an international film festival in Japan where he accepted the award looking like Julia Roberts. He is also a designer. In fact, he designed the "National Costume" of one of the candidates of Binibining Pilipinas (one of the national pageants in the Philippines).
When I saw Viñas DeLuxe in drag she just reminded me so much of Topanga from Boy Meets World. The huge smile, the cheeks, the big hair... it immediately endeared her to the side of me that remembers the 90s...
We're living for the Alexis P. Bevels journey from firm Anti-Union to socialist icon... The P today stands for proletariat babe... Also darby i'm loving this sparkly condom/joan of arc moment!
