    Types of fudds -
1 - The “Smart Boi” - Against assault weapon bans and gun bans based on features but they support “smart gun laws” where although “assault weapons” would be legal, there would be a process modelled after Canada or Switzerland’s system where one would have to go through licensing to get anything
2 - The “Rich cuckFuck” - some douchebag who lives in the east coast and is a bald rich billionaire that only owns over under shotguns and are getting cucked by their wife while running for a office
3 - Basic Fudd - shitty android phone, remington 870 in camo tape, remington 700, chewing tobacco while bitching about hookah and weed - supports the 1968 GCA, loves reagan
4 - The Bubbatrapreneur - Hoarding .22 because “Obummer is gon ban gunz”, bought all the $80 Mosin Nagants

Ironically I get to thank growing up in CA for making Fudds my least favorite part of the gun community just because of how prevalent they are in the state. Also part of the reason why I ended up going quasi-reverse Fudd: I have zero interest in ever owning a break action shotgun or a scoped bolt action hunting rifle without iron sights, and it took me years before I finally bought a revolver, specifically because I’ve had to hear so many Fudds say those are the only firearms protected by the 2A.
But at least I’m not going to stand there asking them why they need them and arguing that they shouldn’t be allowed to have them.

Yes, they unironicaly say that… further more this guy brags about his Mauser rifle which can “hit anything at 700 yards” and that it’s more than enough rifle that anyone would need. He also prescribes to Biden’s dumbass comments about deer wearing Kevlar and genuinely believed if you need 30 round magazines you’re “obviously a terrible shot”. Fortunately, I think a lot of FUDDs in the Midwest have come around. I've filled two tags a year for roughly 10 years with an AR chambered in 6.8 SPC, and the number of hunters choosing the AR carbine platform because of its ergonomics in the woods or a tree stand has grown exponentially. Among tree stand AR hunters you'll hear, "Once you go black, you never go back," (ha-true), although I'll still take out a 7mm mag bolt gun if I'm set up in a spot where I might need to reach the other end of a bean field. "You don't NEED an AR," changes pretty quick once you've had to stand, turn 180 and lean out to shoot off the side of a tree with anything other than a semi-auto. In that circumstance, good luck running a lever or bolt if a quick follow up shot is needed. In a tree stand, ARs rule in my opinion, and I've hauled every kind of rifle aloft over decades. For varmints, hefty configurations with long, bull barreled ARs rule in my book. Also, the AR is a great choice for the one gun owner who wants a do-all rig for woods hunting and home defense.
What FUDDs and anti-gunners say about ARs and a variety of other weapons would be comical if not so disturbingly misinformed. Let's hope the 2nd Amendment outlast them.

Was browsing through the back catalogs when I found this video. My favorite Fuddism or Fudd thing is the word Fudd itself. It's always seen as a negative thing but very few people distinguish between Fudd Mentality and Fudd Taste. There are tons of 2A advocates who have Fudd Taste, preferring milsurps and lever actions over ARs and AKs but they are usually thrown in with the Fudd mentality folks who are described in this video. I have Fudd Tastes as my favorite guns are the 1911, Remington 700, and Winchester Model 94. I still fight for universal gun rights and think that just because ARs aren't to my own preference doesn't mean noone should have them. Kind of a pet peeve of mine since I'm nowhere near as ignorant as most Fudds, I just prefer older guns.

I started with the 1911 in the military. Not long after I got out, civilians were limited to a magazine capacity of ten rounds due to the Brady Bill. So we basically all HAD to be "Fudd's" in a way, I hope you understand that. Today, I traded my 1911 for a Glock 19 and I have other things but most of all, I have been a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. He then talked about how 223/556 would bounce off foliage and was too weak and inadequate for hunting but then said it would blow human limbs off and explode body parts. I asked him how an ar-15 was more dangerous than any other semi automatic rifle, using the m14/m1a he praised as a comparison, and he couldn't give me a straight answer. I was a member at a range several years ago. They created a job of range ambassador, a decision I voted for, since I was looking for a job and wanted to get out of food service at the time. Naive young man that I was, I should have expected that they wouldn't give it to someone who knows about guns, but to someone with connections. In this case, it was a Fudd. A Vietnam veteran Fudd, but a Fudd all the same.
One day, while I was on the pistol range, he was on the rifle range, and since I walked out to check my target while he was sighting in his single-shot Savage, he walked over and chewed me out for crossing the line of fire while he was pointing a gun downrange. Mind you, the two range benches are about 80 yards apart, so unless there was a strong enough wind to make a bullet trajectory turn 90 degrees, there was no way I would have been in any danger. Not to mention, the rule he pointed to on the board said literally nothing to the effect that he was saying it did.
At the end of that year, I didn't renew my membership.

Like bro you're not in an anime where the main character can just dance around bullets and slice a fricking AA gun half with a brittle katana without getting blown to pieces.

Yeah, they suck because all they want or need is a one shot deal for hunting. They are short minded about politics and become unknowingly anti 2nd amendment ammo. The difference is someone that actually like guns understands the reason for high capacity magazines and semiauto guns. I don't even hunt (have nothing against it) but I could own so many guns because there are so many types and differences. I have WWII bolt guns and semiauto modern sporting guns, I could own Ruger #1s in every caliber, if I could afford. I don't want to kill anything, to me is like liking plants, you want a variety because they are all oh so different.

Gun channels provide the enemy with information about firearms that allows the left to create bills that become law that restricts us all, vicariously shooting everyone in the foot with gun control. I remember when the GunGuy made a video about the reloading supplies like bullets, casing and powder that can be shipped directly to your home in CA without registration. So if you watch on of the latest Jurassic Park movie with the Marlin 45-70 there is scene where someone is watching the news at home in the movie and the newscaster comes on stating they forgot to regulate the reloading supplies. I use on work with 30mm Chain guns that spit out 750 rounds a minute at Hughes Helicopter and I have been going to gun shows since I was 12 years old carrying gun collectors weapons in and out to display them there at the shows. All I own is Cowboy Action guns 1873 pistols. lever Action, Coach Gun but that is what I prefer and I have an affinity for that era of weapons. For my 13 birthday I skinned 13 deer that the 7 men brought back from a morning hunt with a skip loader, Pickup and a Jeep on ranch in Colorado. One of the hunters used and M1 carbine and it worked just fine, it got the job done. I remember when one of the Gun Channels stated there was no such thing as an AR-16, he didn't know it even existed.! This Okie doesn't believe in gun Control even though I own Mr. Fudd's weapons.

I find it highly ironic when people make videos poking fun at the Fudd and include terms like POS 1911 and chastising any firearm owners choice of firearm. New age fan bois come to mind. They fall into the "I am not a FUDD...but really my preferences and comments actually make me FUDD"

There are a lot of shitty 1911s out there. But I own a 1911 and it’s fun. But it’s severely limited on a few ways

Non-American here but what's the deal with hating on background checks? I get owning any types of gun you want, I can support that but it seems pretty reasonable to not let certain types of people with criminal convictions or police records. I understand that barring people with petty criminal convictions such as regular traffic violations , small time shoplifting, small level drug possession for personal use, etc can be pretty draconian. I especially get that being discharged from the military for the the relatively minor reasons shouldn't bar you from owning a firearm but to me it seems that there are some people out there who really shouldn't be trusted with firearms.
Apologies in advance if I'm wrong.

I don't think we should shame people as fudds, that's like karens shaming me for not wearing a mask. It is better to educate them. Many of them have been educated recently when they thought they could take their firearm home the same day as purchase here in California. I've had a few come to me and ask me why not. We obviously know the tyranny and we have to educate them on why it is tyranical. Don't tell them I told you so. Instead, share their pain in the process.

True Fudds don't believe in the 2A so we should absolutely shame them. Go ahead and educate them on that.

Give it a few years, if you end up truly loving guns like we do, you'll be demanding the repeal of the NFA, GCA, Hughes Amendment, and the total destruction of the ATF and the background check system just like the rest of us. The more you get into guns, the more you want the 2nd amendment to be the only gun law on the books.
