Thank you for making my childhood amazing! I can remember watching your demonstrations and unboxings from a very young age :)
This is so unusual for modern vacuum, but still very effective. I mean dirty fan (or direct air) system. They are know for high airflow and no need for high wattage motor. One huge plus is super light handle weight. Another interesting thing is that the suction fan is belt driven AND motor has big pulley and fan small pulley. It means that the suction fan runs at extremely high speed. I have never seen design like that.
Been watching since i was six you inspire me i have 22 vaccums now.
Wow I am testing one vacuum cleaner is good Kenmore bc 4026❤❤❤❤
Thanks for this Roger! The belt driven fan is very interesting. From reading some explanations on a popular vacuum fan website, it seems that this configuration can also increase RPM’s at the fan and increase air flow because the spindel at the motor end is wider than the spindel on the fan end. So, for example, one rotation at the motor end may actually result in 4 rotations at the fan end. Fascinating! I agree that the power kick switch on the side is unfortunate…. why doesn’t Sebo just put a step on toe switch on the top of the motor hood? Kind of strange that they did not….
Ah - this is the one you mentioned on your Facebook page Roger!!!!
Do like the look of it. Clearly the sebo design but at a fraction of the cost of the cordless bp60
This would've been a godsend 5 years ago when I used to clean offices! The BS360 is fantastic but was a bit bulky for cleaning small areas, it would be great if the pesky EU obstacles can be overcome...Great video as always 😊
I used to clean a shop with a Hoover 912A Commercial, followed by the much lighter C1300 Senior. I provided them both of course because I didn’t want to clean large areas of carpet with a Premier Mini.
I have this vacuum. I like it, but there was some difficulty assembling it as Roger indicated.
Incredibly attractive unit, nice to see it uses a common brushroll to other Sebo products.
Usually Sebo has assembly be a painless process. This machine doesn't seem to meet the supposed high standards of the EuroVac industry. I mean, the handle should extend through the bag and down to the machine carrying the cable in it like a conduit. This one has the metal handle only go part way down into the bag housing and the cable is exposed to dust and dirt as well as being a weak point on the machine filtration wise. Granted, the bag should be near if not full HEPA standards but I have operated enough vacuums to know that even bagged can be as filthy as a dry bagless machine, especially if something goes wrong with the dirt path. Let's go back to the cable: Since it's inside the bag housing, any dirt and dust will blow through that opening and contaminate the IEC C13/14 connection point (it's nice that this is used as it's a similar standard used for other appliances, tools and electronics also making the cable user replaceable). causing more problems down the road.
Looks like Sebo took a couple backwards steps with this design; way more assembly than what's needed with an X-series or Felix. I'm a little surprised honestly. Give them credit for finally introducing a brand new design of vacuum, but it needs some tweaks.
I don't understand why modern uprights don't adopt the "brushroll bars" or "agitator pads" that Hoover used for so long. Surely their "beating" of the carpet pile results in more/quicker pick-up?
I know this is a later more modern vacuum, but does it have a supressor
Roger will you be doing a video of the new shark 🦈 hybrid fan? Thank you.
Not likely. I have a couple of decent fans and three Shark cleaners I still need to unbox before selling them.
Will you be doing a mess test with this vacuum cleaner ?
I doubt it because this has a plastic fan what has to take all the hits from the dirt. It would broke easily. Let the master itself explain more.
According to google the loudest allowed in the EU is 80dB. Karchers website says the ranger is 78dB, also it's only 480watts so I have no idea why its not available here.
It is the noise level that doesn’t meet the EU Directive. The BP60 can get away with it as it is a battery machine. I have the BP60 and do not find the noise level bothersome.
I would think that the battery version would have a different motor
It looks like it's based on sebo cordless?
Most likely because it is. In Canada it sold as the Sebo Softcase CE12.
Nice vacuum can it be used for commerical use
The title of the video includes the word commercial, so yes it can be used for commercial use or in a domestic home if you want.
3rd ŵow
What a faff 😅
That bowed plastic isn’t exactly a sign of decent build quality…
It was just put together too fast on the production line, but the quality of this unit doesn’t live up to the usual Sebo standards.
They made it too plain looking, it makes it look "cheap". Could have used a bit more flair or at least a two-tone color pattern.
