Kayla, you are SO hard on yourself. These recipes are great. You do a wonderful job. I'm sure many young mothers will enjoy them.
You all prolly dont care at all but does someone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Kyng Ronin instablaster :)
Dunno if he was asked to help but your man coming into frame to help make it go faster made me smile 😊
Love this video Kayla! I’m a grandmother babysitting my granddaughter so I’m on the lookout for easy and nutritious meals and snacks. I’ll be trying all of these recipes - thanks so much!
Really loved the recipes and would love to see more in the future!! I love watching Jackson’s food routines, gives me ideas to feed my little one. 😊
I love that photo of Riley with her arms flung into the air. The oatmeal bars are a great idea. I won't waste batter, either. There's always an adult who will eat one of the larger muffins. Kids need texture in their food. Look where giving Riley all purees got her. Lumps of banana are fine in the flapjack banana egg mixture without flour. Good to get additives and sugar out of foods. Watermelon is mostly water. If it's sweet, it's the perfect treat and the cold is good for teething.
You definitely are doing a great job at making your own baby food. Not only are you doing good to your baby's immune system, you are also saving money in doing so.
Made the oatmeal muffins instead with: 1 banana, 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup red beets and no spinach. Baked in oil coated large muffin tin filled to the way up and baked for 17.5 mins. My 1.5 year old went crazy for them. Thank you for the suggestion!
Thank you so much! I was struggling so much with making my baby food! You made it so much easier!

My baby will be 6 months tomorrow so this RUclips recommendation was right on time! We just started solids, I steamed and pureed carrots. I didn't make food for my now 10 year old son when he was a baby but I am giving it a try this time. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for making these videos! From a dad that loves to follow easy directions.
I feel like you just made Jackson's 6 month update 😭😭 he's growing so fast!
Love this video! I am the worlds worst cook and have an almost 5 month old. Feel totally clueless. Loved this!!!
Thank you for this video. Very helpful!!
Please some more!! Loved your recipes!!
My daughter is almost 2. I wish I would have had these recipes for her when she was younger! Are you planning on doing an update on Riley's eating? I got so excited when she started eating chicken!! 😍
Love videos like this! It helps so much.
Great Mom! Thank you for your lovely video!
Kayla I love your videos! We should all make our own baby food it is soooo simple and nutritious. I know this one is old but for anyone watching one pointer I have is to get a small 3 stack steamer and then you can steam multiple foods at once. Also steaming is faster and retains nutrients. If you boil use the water that you boil to blend the foods to keep nutrients. I steam and don’t use water to blend although hard (must stir) it’s worth it. And frozen veggies is actually much fresher.
I love all the recipes and looking forward for more. I'm doing blw for my lo and I need more idea. Thank you.
Extremely helpful!! Please do make more

Yayy! So glad! Thanks for watching!
Loved them!!! Please make more lol
Wanted to say, Kayla, when you said that you will start BabyLedWeaning , I was like Ok I am not gonna watch it. But I gave it a shot, and what I saw I really liked. I liked your idea to mix finger food with purées. I see that it is less stressful for mama during the transition to solids. And I am sure I will use it too with my second one. I even took couple ideas for my daughter who is already 16 months. Thank you!!!
Great recipes! Love the white pot at the beginning of the video. What brand is it? Thanks
These recipes are simple and great. I would try some for my baby 🙂.
Omg thank you for the oatmeal bars
Loved these easy peasy recipes. I am surely gonna try it for my 8 month old.
Glad you liked them! Thanks for watching 💙
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! Could you please do more recipes?
My baby loved the pancakes. She's a very picky eater who only eats mandarins. Thank you!
I like any and all of the videos you make!!!!
I love it... I'm gonna try them. You're amazing in the kitchen. We love YOU to pieces. Defs just subbed. If Zion loves them, I might make a video for my viewers too. Thank you
Love it 😍 !!! More please !!!!
These look so good! I wanted to try BLW but my daughter has bad reflux and it made me scared she would choke easily on the foods 😩. Glad it’s working well for Jackson!
You make it look so easy! Can't wait to try the oatmeal bars!
This stuff is all pretty simple for sure!
Love your videos will definitely be making these for my baby girl who is almost 10 months x😌
Yayyy!! Thanks for watching! Hope your baby girl loves them! ❤️
This was wonderful, thank you for the ideas! I also bought the Baby-Led Feeding book from your links :D
Yay! Glad you liked it! And that’s great! Hope you enjoy trying out some of the recipes in there!
For a baby under one, I would definitely replace the cows milk (in the oatmeal bars) for oatmeal, almond milk or something non dairy. It's my understanding that babies under one don't digest it as well, hence why we're encouraged to wait until 1 year old. These recipes are great though, I gave and still give my two year old lots of similar items (although he isn't a carb lover so many carbs are a hit or miss). You are doing everything you can to give Jackson a chance to eat better than Riley so don't be hard on yourself. The best part is that it's rubbing off on her so double win in your book. All we can do is try our best and make changes to try to get better result each time.
You can try steam the apples. Steaming is the best way of keeping all the vitamins in fruits and veggies 😇😇
Fantastic job Kayla!! Absolutely love your videos! Quick ques - How long do you reckon we can leave the oatmeal bars in the fridge for? Thanks heaps
I love these!!
Hi kayla..i love all your vlogs.. janice from the philippines
I’m definitely trying these!! You’re amazing mama!
Thank you friend! 😘 hope you’re doing awesome! ❤️❤️❤️
Oh my he's so cute!!!
Looking forward to try all these recipees when my baby turn 6 months in october 😍
Yay! It’s so fun watching them eat 😍😍
Very helpful!!! Thank you ☺️
You can 100% leave the peels on the apples! I put my chopped up apples in a pot with a bit of apple pie spice and lemon juice and then cook it down for an hour or so. It works so well and I barely have to do any prep!
V helpful!!! Like these videos :) xx
You can freeze the apple water from boiling the apples for popsicles or frozen teether pop
You can also microwave sweet potatoes!
I love these! I'm going to try some out tomorrow I was just thinking of finding some recipes for my 9mo, and then you posted this!
Yay! Let me know if you end up giving them a shot!
@@KaylaBuell the pancakes were a hit for lunch! I've never seen Willow eat so quick and ask for more haha you're a life saver she was getting a bit bored with our normal lunches so this is something great to add to our menu!
I'm sooooo intimidated by the kitchen. I don't cook. I can make eggs and simple things I honestly just don't like taking the time. But you give me hope Kayla! Thanx for this video, def trying the oatmeal bars and mini muffins for my lil girl 💯👍😘 Also it was great to have this video to watch while she napped 😊
What brand pans do you have? I love them!
Jackson has a healthy appetite. I'm hoping my 3 month old will be the same when we start BLW 😊
Kayla: you guys know me, Im not good in the kitchen, I burn stuff
Also Kayla: *cracks egg easily onehanded*
😲😲😲
Hahahaha I’ve learned how to do that with one hand because otherwise I would have starved by now since I’m always carrying a tiny human lol
Was thinking the same thing 🤣
I really appreciate this video and recipe idea. My baby is gonna be 6 months on Wednesday and will start solids. I plan on doing the baby led weaning so this was great
Glad I could help!
Thank you for this video. I'll definitely be using some of these. Look forward to more of these in the future 😍 maybe some fall themed recipes??
Yay! Glad you liked it! Ahhh that would definitely be fun!
Kayla! Thank you for this! My first born really didn’t like a lot of solids but my 9 month old is so into finger foods! I think I’m going to start with the oatmeal bars, sweet potato mash and muffins! Hopefully my 2 and a half year old will eat it too 😂
Muffins:
3 bananas
2 eggs
1/4 c Pitted dates
2 cups rolled oats
1/4 c semi sweet chips
What is the spray you are using on the fruits and veggies?
what brand is the induction pot used to boil the veggies?
my baby turns 6 months in december ! when do you recommend starting to feed muffins and more bready textures ?
Hiya! How do you do the yogurt popsicles? Is it a weird texture after freezing?
I tried the baked oatmeal and my son didn’t even want to taste it... he is that way lately, I cannot make him try any foods, even if he’s eaten them before. I freaking loved it though, I don’t care if he eats it, I will make it for me and my husband. Just added some apple sauce to sweeten it a bit and some cranberries. Yummy!!!
Can you do a video about how you started on solids and baby led weaning
Do the books give instructions on how much you should give baby through the day when introducing them? I'm about to start giving my LO more than just rice cereal, but idk how much he should eat in a serving?
Thanks for sharing
Could you tell us the name of this book that you use?
Is that the Force of Nature liquid you’re spraying on the sweet potato and apples before peeling them? Is that just to make sure they are sanitized verses just washing them?
What kind of water are your using for baby food my water source isn’t safe so I’m not sure if I have to use distilled or purified sorry I am still new to this TIA
Can I just ask why do you spray them veggies/fruits instead of washing them under the tap?
Just curious😊
Do you have any videos on getting started? My little girl turned 8 months old today and I just don’t think purées are filling her up anymore
