“ I beat the dog to the bird!” That was hilarious!
Travis is the man thanks to him we now have 20+ ducks fanatics
Yep
Hey guys I have seen almost all of your videos I am just impressed by the memories and everything that can be preserved by the real art of taxidermy I would love to learn more about it and maybe even pursue it as a hobby or a career. If there is any way that you could leave me with some tips or some one to go to to learn from I would love it!thank you.
Travis is such a natural on video! Great video...👍👍...
He did awesome! Thanks 😎👍🏼
Man I’m just now getting back into duck hunting cause I got a nice wood duck hole. You got some beautiful birds! Earned my subscription!
Wow. I admire your collection, and you waterfowl facts. I may start my own collection too. Thank you for the idea.
Thanks
Another awesome video!! Enjoyed all of them!!! Keep em coming Brother. 👍🏼🦆
Thanks. Will do!
Great video!! I really liked the teal trifecta and the pinnys. Would love to see some more taxidermy vids.

Agreed!
Nice birds!
You should do a update on his mounts
This is an awesome vid! I'm hopefully getting into duck hunting next year
Thanks!
Those are some nice mounts I wish I had one
Thanks
sweet ducks!!!!!! TRAVI your such a nut
That's one hell of a blacktail rack too.
Nice job!👏👏👏
Thanks!
I shot a leusistic hen mallard three weekends ago on the river and had no clue. Pretty neat to that out ! Probably would have mounted her with one of the drakes we shot of I would have known
😳 you didn’t keep it! Haha. Hey you don’t know what you don’t know. That’s really awesome though. Very rare to see one of those let alone shoot one
@@MidValleyMercenaries we breasted her out but we didn’t mount her. Very cool too learn about it now though thanks to your content ! Great stuff man
Very cool! Thanks
👍🏼👍🏼
Very cool collection, I imagine it’s much cheaper doing your own taxidermy 😬😁. I’m a fan of the gadwalls 👌 keep these videos coming!!!!🙌🏻
Ya it helps a lot for sure. Will do!
I called in two Blackies and just as I was getting ready to squeeze off the first shot they dropped below the sky backcast and I wasn t able to see them untill they hit the.water and I saw the splash , then immediately fired, waiting for one or both to be silhouetted against the sky again. When neither did I waded over to where they landed and I killed both with my first and only shot. They were big Canadian redlegs and in perfect condition so I took them to a taxidermist that charged me $ 60. 00 apiece when the going rate was $ 35. but they did such a fine job I had no complaints. I had them mounted with their feet out and wings cupped like they were landing. Their heads and necks outstretched like they are looking at their landing spot
I hung them with fishing line over my TV and for years friends loved my blackies landing in my living room.
Thanks.
Wow. That’s cheap for a mount. Cool story
That dead mount is clean! 23 years of duck hunting and I have yet to mount a bird.. I should have had my blue goose done.
Ya he nailed that dead mount. I finally replied back to your email. Sorry took so long
11:01 I think it is a hen pintail I haven’t watched yet
Link to Travis page is dead. I know he is still doing this, I'm related to him.
Nice vid!! 👍
Thanks 👍🏼
I like your. Pintail
dont taste the best but they are hella fun to hunt just go out there (btw no need for camo they are so stoopi) and shoot em not complicated like other birds once one landed 5 feet from me
Really enjoyed this video, makes me want to get more mounts but everything is $$ ;(
Thanks man. Because of the money you’ll notice we learned to do our own mounts which cuts the cost about 90% and now we’re only limited by our time if we want to do one.
@@MidValleyMercenaries do you guys plan on doing a how to video in the future? I tried mounting my own birds but they don't come out as clean.
Ya man we’ve already did a very detailed video. Here’s the playlist link

I live in Arkansas
Travis,👍🏻
👍🏼
Had 2 mountain lions stalk up behind me on May 14th of this year one at about 10 yards and another at 30 yards. Terrifying
Whoa! That is terrifying
Is a Ross goose the same as a snow goose?
No it’s about half the size
I want to mount a bunch of different birds!
I really want to mount a wood duck tho!
What species was the last bird?
Green wing teal
My man first again
Interesting video! Cool teal trifecta! We never get cinnamons in AR. I wanted to point out that your fact about the ducks feet having no blood vessels or nerves is incorrect. Of course they do! Ever shot a duck that had bloody legs and feet? I'm not sure where that myth came from but lots of people say it. Here's a link to the facts about how ducks feet don't get cold. askanaturalist.com/why-don%E2%80%99t-ducks%E2%80%99-feet-freeze/
not trying to be mean or anything but I think it's wrong to kill animals just for taxidermy, I understand if they are already dead though.
Believe it or not I totally agree with you. We do not kill these just to mount. We eat everything we kill and we respect the animals or birds we harvest. I don’t think it’s right either just to kill for Taxidermy
