#BruceSpringsteen #REACTION - Развлечения
Springsteen has so many laurels to rest on as a live performer, it's surprising he doesn't just come out sit on a stool and play the hits. yet I watched him last Sunday give the most powerful performance I have ever seen. he played he had something to prove and his energy level was off the charts. The stage is his natural environment and he always seems to enjoy it just as much as the audience. I think his 'trick' is that he gives a show for us and him.
While it is always fun to watch/listen to the Boss, the real delight this time is watching your reaction - the subtle changes in your expression show your appreciation. Your commentary is also spot on, but your face speaks volumes.
Thank you so much!
The crowd performance in some of those Barcelona shows is pretty incredible
Bruce has been with these guys in some fashion since the early 1970s. Bass player Garry Tallent is the longest tenured member of the E Street Band, playing with Bruce since 1972. Piano player Roy Bittan, and drummer Max Weinberg have been in the band since 1974. Guitar player Steven Van Zandt has been a member of the band since 1975 (although he left the band in 1983, before rejoining with the 1999 reunion), but has known and played with Bruce in various bands since 1965. Nils Lofgren and Patty Scialfa (Bruce's wife) are the two newest members of the band, having both joined in 1984. Although not an official member of the band, since 1990, the musician who has played with Bruce more than anyone is violin and guitar player Soozie Tyrell. Soozie has accompanied Springsteen when he has toured with the E Street Band as well as when he has done tours without the E Street band. So yeah, they have been playing together for a long time. Also, one of the cool things he has done, and part of why these band members are so loyal to him, is that everyone in the band, including him, gets an equal cut of the tour payout. He does not pay himself more than the rest of the band.
How can you talk about the E Street Band and not mention The Big Man Clarence Clemons (z”l). Watching the interplay between Bruce and Clarence was always one of my favorite parts of any concert. Jake has stepped in to his uncle’s shoes and plays beautifully, but I miss the chemistry that there was with Clarence.
@@eschneir - Of course Clarence was amazing. I meant no disrespect to him. I was merely commenting on the band members Bruce is playing with to this day. Sadly, both Clarence and Danny have left us, so obviously they are not currently playing with Bruce.
@@jsmith1746 if we talk about Clarence we gotta tell the story about how he joined the band.
Also as an aside, let’s not forget that Mighty Max was Conan O’Brien’s band leader on his show.
These guys are all best friends they grew up together. The drummer use to play for the late show but when the boss would call he would go back on tour.
The late Carence Clemons, on sax, Gary Talent, the bass player, and the late Danny Federici, had been with Bruce since 1973.
And actually longer than that, before he had a record deal.
I've been to Bruce show. About three hours. I was beat after, but everything was about that energy.
Good move to watch live Springsteen, the stage is his proper format. To truly understand The Boss & the power of the E Street Band, the 1975 _Hammersmith Odeon, London_ show is essential viewing. The turning point, Bruce had everything to prove that night - and the result is better than any of his studio albums.
Springsteen's best song and live performance IMO is 'Jungleland (live in New York City 2000)', from the Reunion Tour. An absolute masterpiece. It really is the band at its peak, with an incredible sax solo from Clarence Clemons.
It was good but the band was at it's peak probably 75 till about 1986
Yes, he plays with the same band, The E Street Band.... and his wife is the red head on stage. The guitarist with the wrap around his head is also in the show The Sopranos.
Dancing in the Dark wasn't on the set list for Barcelona so it appeared as an audible by Bruce much earlier than usual to close out the live stream of the first 13 or so songs of the concert. These days it mainly shows up in the encore
Two songs live: nyc serenade and Drive All Night!
Springsteen & the E Street Band are the greatest American Rock band ever!
I also recommend one of the live versions of Two Hearts. The bromance between Bruce and Little Steven is 🔥
Great Reaction. Love some Bruce Springsteen and the E St. band. I’m having a lot of fun watching you on your musical journey😀. Thank you so much for sharing with us. By the way you have very beautiful and expressive eyes. Said by a very married woman that’s 52 years old.❤️✌️🌼
Thank you so much! ❤️😊
You should watch his videos from the seventies and eighties! These are quite s bit later! I saw him in for his Born In The USA tour and it was a 4 and 1/2 show with no warm up band! The day before I heard it was 5 hours!
I'll definitely do those next!
The Boss!!! Brings energy every time to his fans! 👏🏻
Watch his concert in Milan in 2003, one of the best
The is the Bruce Sprintsteen and the E Street Band . not only is Bruce in the Hall of Fame but Bruce Spring Steen and the E Street Band are also in the Hall of Fame. Bruce is not a solo act he is Is
Always with his band.
You also should check out the live performances of Rosalita in Phoenix 1978, Detroit Medley in Tempe 1980, Born in the USA in Los Angeles 1985 and Sherry Darling at Madison Square Garden 1979.
2:52 The Mighty Max Weinberg.
Same band! 😃
Born to Run and Dancing in the Dark typically are closer to the end of the show...so some time after the 3hr mark.
Same Band since 75. We'll more or less. Some members have been added and sadly a couple have passed. One member, Little Steven Van Zandt left briefly and came back.
Ya ..same EStreet Band ...forever .. at his concerts in the 70s and 80s they'd play for at least 3 hrs with no breaks . He told hisaudience at the start of the concerts that they knew how hard the people worked to earn enough to buy a concert ticket( 20 bucks then) and that the band would give it their all with no breaks .. if you get a chance to review Blinded by the light... you'll enjoy
Bruce Springsteen live In New York City 2000 official dvd of tenth avenue freeze out
It will wipe you out
I seen him many times, he use to play 4 to 5 hours, so energetic abs humble, great lyrics, maybe the best live artist ever
for the most part.. it's 99% of the time.. he's with the Legendary E STREET BAND !
Phenomenal
love how you went weak for Im on Fire 🔥
The gentleman on the druns is max Weinberg he was also a part of the coan O'Brian show for a long time.
Love this!! Bruce and his band is amazing live.
Hey Bryson wanted to also say thanks for this one and would love to see more of The Boss’s video’s. Have a great day💕

Same band since the late 70's. 3.5 hour concerts were the norm. Seen many times here in Cleveland. Go RRHF
I love how you do 4 songs from an artist
Thank you!
You should do born is the USA, Tunnel of Love or any of his long resume songs.
Bruce has an all-star band. He's got Steven Van zant on guitar Max Weinberg on drums and Paul Schaefer on piano
Roy Bittan is on Piano. Paul Schaffer was the piano guy and band leader for David Letterman's band.
Lol that's NOT Paul Schaefer. Roy Bitten
@@barryford2641 lol I couldn't tell on my tiny little phone now he has to watch one with paul
Rosalita (Phoenix 1978), Drive All Night (11-8-05), Something In The Night (Paramount 2009), Wild Billys Circus Story (Ahmanson Theater L.A, 1973), Racing In The Street (Meadowlands 2012), Candys Room (Paramount Theater 2009) (the 78 Phoenix video of Rosalita pretty much typifies a BS show)
Born to run usually closes out the show
If you love that saxophone, then you HAVE to check out Jungleland!!
Live performances to check off next should be - Prove It All Night 1978 (Houston or Phoenix) / London Calling 2012 (Hyde Park) / 10th Avenue Freeze Out 1999 (Madison Square Garden) / Thunder Road 1975 (Hammersmith London.
Love Bruce … if you can, listen to 1975 version of NYC Serenade recording. It’s incredible. Very different from his other stuff.
The big black guy on saxofon died, now its his son playing
It’s his nephew.
Glory days from the Letterman show 1993.
Do yourself a huge favor & go to a Springsteen concert? It will change your life. Three hours of magic.
As I already commented on another/"the other" video with Bruce and the E-Street Band, I have to say I always loved Bruce, especially since I'm 30+!! 😁 😁
And secondly, I wanna say "Thank you" once again for doing "old", maybe also "conservative" "stuff" since I think you're not even 30?? 🙏 🙏 🙏 🤗 🤗
Thank you for watching! And yes, I am 23. 😊
@@PancakeMarshmallowDude OK, t y for this personal information!! 😃 😃
I'm already 36!! 😁 😁 👍 👍
This song (dancing in the dark) wasn’t in the set list, at the end of the song he tells one person who goes on to tell others and they just adapt
Dude, just found you. you are interesting !!!!
You are listening to me about live music. YEAH!!. First saw him 1978. Only one song i never liked, dancin in the dark. Everything else is amazing
DITD was not on list but he sprung it in the band last second.
You definitely have an ear young man and you really got it. And I only call you young man because I'm over 60 years old and have been listening to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band since I was 17. So, thank you very much for your honest critique and your ability to "get" it. You can just see it in your eyes and and smile when you watch Bruce and the boys. All of us fans react this way and feel sorry for those who miss this. Anyways, you really owe it to yourself to watch Jungleland live in New York City 2001. It has Clarence Clemons 3 minute sax solo which is the most iconic sax playing in music history. Guaranteed to give you goosebumps. Sadly, he has since passed. And then you must, must, must watch Badlands from the same concert and you will be officially baptized. Thanks again man. ruclips.net/video/lW1RAYYs8RI/видео.html
Thank you so much for watching!
@pancakemarshmallowdude - You finished up saying that Bruces´ music puts you in a lighthearted mood. Then I would challenge you to listen to his song song My Fathers House, especially this version with a story intro ruclips.net/video/KYDW1bIwIV4/видео.html - It just showcases and encapsules the other side of Springsteen, besides his lighhearted and joyful side.... Enjoy :-)
Are we getting any more years & years? I've been wondering about that second part.
Definitely! It's just taking a bit longer because of my upload schedule. 😊
@@PancakeMarshmallowDude good to know!
Have you heard Niall's version of Dancing in the Dark??
I'll have to give it a listen 🙂
