Superb again👏👏👏 did these 3 last summer over 2 days and a camp at the beach with a few guys who enjoy the hills.... Nice spot for an overnight and a few laughs and a lovely sunrise...
Hi Dave, We were expecting things to be a bit warmer but had to settle for a strong breeze and haze. At least it wasn't raining and the tops were clear. Cheers, Charlie.
I have to watch all your videos three times Charlie! 1. When you release them. 2. Before I attempt to do the route...and then 3. When I come back home! Cheers Charlie. Paul
Paul, Outdoor channels are a great resource for walkers gathering information on the mountains and routes. I wish I had something similar in the early days. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Ian, Glad you enjoyed our latest trip to Loch Laggan. Not as bright as expected but the tops were clear which was the main thing. Take care, Charlie.
@@colinm45 Well done..... mid May to the end of June is generally the best times for the Scottish hills so great that you had a clear day on these beauties. Cheers, Charlie.
It's a good 30 years since I was last on these hills; all I can remember of that day is looking down on Lochan na Herba from the summit of Creag Pitridh. There's some green obviously starting to show in the hillsides now as we get the warmer weather. Conditions a bit hazy now, Charlie, but at least the tops are clear. Not my favourite time of year, however !
Hi Ian, Oct 85 was the first time I was on these hills and remember the clear crisp sky. Unfortunately, we are into haze and lush greens which isn't a great time for photography.... On the other hand the tops are clear and it's not raining so can't have it always. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Stripey, Thanks for taking the time to look through our last trip. These three don't have the roughness of others but give a good days walking in a super area. ATB, Charlie.
Hi Larry, Great that you enjoyed our latest trip. The hills are in good condition and we just need a wee bit more heat for a change. Many thanks & take care, Charlie.
Another great Video. Just checking in with you Charlie - have not seen anything for a couple of week so was wondering/hoping that you are Ok, safe & well? Not lying on the Beach somewhere hot ..... and flat I hope mate?
Hi Les, Many thanks for your concern its much appreciated. All good here... family holiday's take priority as our schedule is put on hold but hopefully back to normal soon. ATB, Charlie.
Great to see these hills Charlie. I've still to do Creag Pitridh and Geal Charn but did Beinn a'Chlachair in the winter with lots of snow several years ago. Brilliant video. Are you guys twins, or brothers? You look very similar.
Hi Heather, You'll enjoy CP & GC when you get round to them, not much walk between the two but the track getting to them goes on a bit. What better walking partner to have but your twin brother, like minded and well matched for getting around the hills. Many thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Charlie great video footage and running commentary, the quality of the video upload was excellent it felt like i was on the hills are you using just a gopro or in-between with a dslr camera crystal clear well done
Hi Philip, Just using the GoPro now as I stopped carrying the dslr 18 months ago. The GoPro quality isn't as good but it's certainly good enough and a more functional for me now. I still take screen grabs during editing the movie as a photo record of the outings. Cheers, Charlie
