“Don’t change” Lex says, but life changes you, unless you live in a bubble with only the same things ever happening. I’m vastly different in my late 30’s with 3 kids to take care of and a wife and job than I was in my early 20’s single and going to university. Definitely more confident now, tougher, but also more run down. Also a very different outlook on everything, more knowledge, more wisdom, etc. And I’m guessing every 10 years will be the same, will be different and changing as decades roll by.

I've been a fan of Negreanu since I was 18 years old (or so), I'm 36 now. This interview was the insight into "Negreanu life" I've been wanting for 18 years. Well done Lex, applause to Daniel as well. Such good content

I wouldn't say money changes people. There are countless middle and lower income classes who think taxes should be abolished. The only difference between them and billionaires, is they aren't able to take advantage of all the loopholes and they are not above the law like billionaires are.
Money doesn't change people. It just enhances or gives the ability for people to be who they already are.

Being an older man in his late 50's and having life-experiences, I feel the advice Daniel gives for young people has value.

Takes a long time to work on your habits to become at least a well rounded human being, now that I've broken some of the bad habits I had, I don't even remember what they were anymore. Think it takes like 90 days of repetition to break them, but after doing this multiple times now, some are easy and quick, some take forever and some I am still reminding myself of everyday. Like an addiction, breaking bad habits take time, but is so worth it, you feel better and can't even remember why you felt like crap before. Literal different person in ways, took years. I reached the break point first though, that slow grind down to my lowest breaking point was awful and took years to get down that low. Once I broke mentally around 7 years ago, I've been building bricks back up one by one and not even picking up the bricks that were broken from my old self. Let it go, and then life goes on.

Gotta take small risk then work your way up if you get lucky on the fist try take a break n try again later but with less of a risk so you can save both rewards.

Money is not the goal. Is what makes with your life and if you have lots of money, how you help otbers providing opportunities.

I mean anything ppl do in life involves the risk of betting on yourself. Ppl falsely misinterpret “take risks” to “it’s ok to do something reckless”. Tread easily, save money, find a job that allows earnings/career growth, find an elder mentor

How broke down is our society when the question lex asks is how can you have a career worth being proud of. It’s a myth that we are all born individual entrepreneurs pursuing individual goals, we are humans with a collective purpose that has nothing to do with what products we produce or consume, forget about your dumb job and focus on helping others it will change your life

All kids want to be the famous people of their time. 50's kids wanted to be Elvis. 60's kids wanted to be the Beatles. 70's kids wanted to be Robert Plant. 80's kids wanted to be in hair metal bands. 90's kids wanted to be Kirk.... RUclipsrs are just the "popular music" of the times. Dreams will be crushed and kids will become accountants, managers, and lawyers.

Maybe you should encourage young people to learn to speak without saying "LIKE".

Work hard in your 20’s!?? Fuck that! 20’s is all about going out, partying and fucking girls!… what good is it having a nice little life in your 30’s and 40’s with no memories of amazing times
