When you grabbed the pencil i knew what was going to come and it still blew me the f away. amazing, as always. Thanks you so much for your videos. A big inspiration for a new hobby painter
Merci encore.... ~~ It's always a pleasure to see your creations and the painting. It takes shape gradually and once the figurine is finished you can only be dazzled and amazed by your work. Thanks again....
Every time I watch one of these I have the same journey: "That looks like crap" -> "That looks better now but I could do that." -> "Oh wow that's a lot of detail on such a small amount of space." -> "Why tf do I always doubt him this is actually insane."
Its fun and frustrating watching these, as things look quite rough when we are so zoomed in, but when you step back on the bigger shots the composition looks so clean. I also hate just how long it looks like you've got before the paint dries on your thin brushes, as I live here in Texas and everything from my wet palette to my brushes dry so fast.
Master Sergio, I have a question. At 7:14 I can clearly see that you have EXTREMELY sharp brush BUT the tip is 2-3 hairs like 1-2 mm long that is seems redundant and interfere with work. You surely use it as advantage painting SMALLEST details, but I also can see that it not always on a good side of a brush. Did you notice that interfere of that small tip that dries up very quickly, or you get used to it and works OK with that brush? Thanks a lot in advance!
At the End when smoothing the Blend with the Airbrush. I wonder what is used as thinner. The liquid that hits the miniature evaporates nearly instantly. is he using alcohol to thin at this stage?
Your work is amazing!
