Watching your videos always inspires me to paint more. Other RUclipsrs sometimes make me feel like I'm making no progress, but seeing your art makes me realize that it's my own personal journey. You're a true inspiration and an incredible painter. Thanks for doing what you do.
Artistry beyond my comprehension. I'm going to have to view this 10x to take in all that is happening and how one moment build upon another and another. Saludos!
Amazingly awesome figure and painting….really helps to see how you build up the colors to a finished palette……and I’m always inspired by your work. Thank you!

Tape on hair dryer seems like a legendary fire hazard. You''re a big muse of mine, every time I wonder what sort of things I could do, learn or have fun with, I look up one of your new videos and it's great knowing someone else is focusing on painting miniatures. Nicely painted.
I thank you for sharing your time and artistic brush strokes and airbrush use. Do you create these master pieces in one sitting or do you take small breaks here and there ? Again thank you for the value you share with the community. GOD bless you.

hi sergio, i love to watch your videos. just some questions about one of the latest (the mage) what did you soak the plants in and why? and what did you print your stencils with? thanks and greetings
most of the materials I used for the bases are available through the Kickstarter campaign.www.kickstarter.com/projects/asura-new-horizon/asura-new-horizon-miniatures-and-brushes.
The way you paint the detailing on cloth and create all the signature decorations on the lapels, jackets and blades make me have a wish to see you paint up something similar to a Harlequin troupe. A cavalcade of colour, patterns and unique decorations combined with your exquisite base compositions and construction and both the smooth transitions of colour mixed with the amount of texture you bring out in your work would be a high point of miniature painting.
You can make something similar with one part glycerine and two parts water. Keep it for a week and let it dry, you'll have to paint them after or tint the glycerine/water mix. Sergio seems to use a comercial one (the AK one, I think) that maybe works faster. Works great with moss.
@@Sergiocalvominiatures Thanks for replying. No, I was after the black base, the plinth. I since found where they were, of some are from. I already know about the Kickstarter, and there is no way I can justify getting that, but I can use the bases, the plinths. But not only did I find them, but I also found a way to make my own, in the mean time.

It is call dramatization, it adds to the edit so some people may not think it is boring or repetitive,or to separate different parts. Shows him focused on his art also. I get it if you don't like it, but I hope this explanation helps you to understand, and as a praise for the editor, maybe him or his girlfriend. As a side note the art is pure craftsmanship at its finest. Bravo!

Pretty sure he's painted a harlequin mini on his channel already if you have a look
I think we had already uploaded a video of a similar miniature.
I was wondering what kind of liquid did he use for the leaves at 16:16..
To preserve anything natural, you can find it in hobby stores.

Very very beautiful, how much hours you spend on such a piece? I can imagine it must be hundreds
quite a few hours, they are works that have a lot of affection for being part of the Kickstarter campaign.
Are you spraying it with varnish or super glue accelerant or both? ❤

Buy the mask and filters in the same pack. I don't know exactly what the equivalent would be in your country, but it is one of the most protective.

What kind of wet paper is being used to keep the paint from drying?
On the wet pallet? You can use paper towel (the one you dry your hands with) on top of a damp sponge. Place kitchen paper for cooking on top of it.
