As someone from rural Georgia who moved away, this vlog made me smile so big!!❤ Nothing like country roads and southern lake days. AND BOILED PEANUTS 😍

Do you ever miss the green? Or the smell of summer in the south?? It’s such a nostalgic smell for me? I’m East Tennessee and for me there is nothing like summer in the south. Glad you got to visit family! Your sister is beautiful by the way! Your mom would be proud!

As a kid raised by a southern family…. That was born in San Diego but spent all my summers and time off in the south. This feels so comforting.

We have boiled peanuts in Mexico as well. We put Lime and Tajin or regular chili powder

I have to eat right before working out or I get super dizzy/lightheaded. My coach told me to try a Rice Krispie treat 15 min before and it’s worked ever since! I’ve been going to OrangeTheory twice a week for almost a full year!!

Boiled peanuts on a pontoon in the muddy lake with a beer and throwing each other off of the kneeboard/float/ ski’s… I love it ❤️ we stayed at the lake during the summers when I was younger

Me & brother & our families go spend 10 days with my Dad for July 4th. We’ve been going for 20 years. Lake Martin is so beautiful & peaceful. Glad you got away for a couple days.

I would never move back and staying longer than 4 days is way too long for me but I love to go back and visit just for that short amount of time and take my kids especially now since all of my family has either moved away or moved houses lol! Now my oldest started college back towards my home but he’s still like 2 hours away from it

I do walk on the beach along the edge of the ocean but i will only swim in my pool! But thus looks like so much fun!!!
