4 things. 1- I like the fact that you're using yellow pine. 2- I like to see your hand tool craftsmanship. 3- I like that you used a finish that compliments the pine and doesn't try to make it something it isn't. 4- I like you're lathe. I bought that same lathe back in the early 1990's for $94.00 from Harbor Freight. It's turned 100's of table and kitchen island legs. I have 2 more lathes, still have that one and still use it sometimes. All I've ever done to it is put a new belt on it. I've been a pro 90 % hand tool woodworker for over 50 years and appreciate all the above from you. Thank you for sharing your videos. Please do more using the syp and hand tools. Beginners and amateurs can learn a lot from you.
