I'll be renting in Sydney later this week. Thanks for sharing the video. I have rented in Japan, Guam and USA before. All were great. I had some minor issues everywhere, some places due to translation some places due to their own traffic laws. But I like the point about cherishing memories in hindsight. Thanks Saket & Ritika
Great Video friend. I will be travelling to Aus this december for NYE. I am renting a car from Mel and driving it down to Sydney. I have done this before but not driven to Sydney. You comments are very informative and helpful.. I look to implement those in my trip... My next Road trip is IN US in July, Croos country... NYC to SFO.... Let me know if you any inputs on those...
Thanks a lot Saket & Ritika for sharing these important tips and information, in a manner that was easy and enjoyable to consume. A humble suggestion, would be great if you could also share recommendations for car rental companies, which will be helpful since you would hav tried and tested the service. Thanks being said, thanks and wish you pleasant & memorable journeys along the festival called life. Cheers!
Hey thank you so much😊😊 So generally we always stick to more reputed companies for renting a car. Companies like Avis, hertz and budget are always dependable everywhere in the world. Also you can check out booking.com to make rental bookings because they have affiliations with all these companies and you can get the best deals there too. For Australia we booked through booking.com that led us to Avis. Hope that helps , and thank you once again for your sweet words 😊😊
Informative one! We've drove in Mauritius, Singapore and Bali and certainly, the experience of having your own vehicle at your disposal in a new country is unparalleled. How much did the car cost you for 15 days renting?
Oh wow nice , seriously it’s the best feeling specially if you enjoy driving.. So for this car we paid approx 80,000 rs for 15 days..could have gotten much cheaper cars but we were 6 people with all our luggage so wanted a big 8 seater vehicle.
Heavy fines - I broke a red traffic light in Sydney unknowingly of course and got a fine in mail after coming back home to India. The fine for breaking a red light was 514 Australian dollars or approx 29,000 inr. Have even saved the fine letter as a souvenir now 😂😂
@@abhivast yes please do.. Totally get you Melbourne is so confusing to drive in specially the whole cbd area with trams and intersections. Do keep us posted 😊
thanks for making this video!
Glad it helps😊

Is the fines very stringent and hefty there?

@@AFestivalCalledLife I can understand this situation. I pray that I don’t get to pay much if at all fined.
@@abhivast yes let’s hope for the best 👍🏻😊
I am bit scared as I have braked but has overshoot the pedestrian line
In which city was this?
@@AFestivalCalledLife melbourne
@@abhivast so Sydney is the strictest with driving fines and rules , you may still be fine in Melbourne ..let’s hope for the best 👍🏻🥳
