It was wonderful spending time with you Tim and I am very happy you had such a nice time in Japan and I look forward to seeing you again sometime soon!! これからもよろしくお願いします!
I've seen lots of collection videos by Shmee, but this was the one that actually blew my mind. I understand the critique of not driving the cars, but keeping them in the factory fresh condition is the factor that truly sets this collection apart from others. Think about how unique this collection will be in, say 25 years, not to mention in 50 years.
A stunning collection, and a wonderful way to present them; join me for a walkaround of Mr Miura's garages - some of the best in Japan! I'd like to thank him for his kind hospitality.
Did he have anything to do with the Lamborghini miura??? Or is the name some spectacular coincidence???? And thanks for finally explaining to me wtf an XJ15 is. I've seen only a few crap pictures of that, and assumed it was something to do with the XJ220, but found its not the best documented car built or even pictured.
Yeah it's a shame they are just collecting items. These cars are made to be driven and shound't just stand there as art. But anyway an absolute awesome car collection.
For many, these kinds of cars are investments. And from a welathy mans point of view, they are the easiest investments to make money on without losing a dime. Ever.
It doesn't need to be. Its the owner who decides what to do. Don't whine like a generic so-called car enthusiast about these car needs to be used properly.
That is an insane collection. I now get why those cars aren't driven. Once gas powered cars are gone, collections like this will be all we have left. Future generations have to be able to see these once they aren't allowed to be on the road again.
Foxtreal kids these days barely care about driving thanks to cars like the gtr that took most of the skill out of it. I doubt auto museums will be much of a thing if and when oil gets scarce. Once the GTR (V35) came along all the supercar companies had no choice but to start pushing their hyper cars further. Hyper cars are nice to look at but they are so controlled and powerful that you have to put effort into trying to crash one. They're made for rich kids and old men to show off in not really for enthusiasts. If they were they'd have 3 pedals, a little less power, no traction control. Honestly these new hyper and super cars aren't really worth collecting. Anything built after the GTR doesn't have much charisma to it because it followed the model of 'computer controlled driving experience.' All you can say about these new cars (except Pagani because they are actually beautiful to look at) is "wow that's fast" and that's it. I've barely heard anyone who drives one of these newer generation cars talk about how connected they feel to the car. It's now about which setting can I tap into the display to make the car get into sport mode so I can cruise. The masses need to see me! Haha
First of all: GREAT COLLAB BETWEEN THE EDITINGMAN AND TIM! Love the voice overs on proper car shots. Almost feels like a carshow :) Just want to show my respect for the man who edits: he is, as always, making Tim's content work like a Rolex. 08:30 I wouldn't be surprised if the next gen fighter jets are "inspired on Lamborghini". O, and about the Laf's performance specs as reference for the anticipation on what the future might bring? Since Koenigsegg is the benchmark of the hypercar industry, the next Ferrari's will deliver what was "yesterday's news" for Koenigsegg.
*The London Hypercar Shutdown 2018 video is BACK ONLINE bb!* YESSSSS! THANK YOU SCHMEE! Been waiting for it! ♥ It's my 2nd favorite car vid ever, 2nd only to your crazy extreme Lambo video from the other day. SCHMEE FRIGGIN ROCKSSSSSS!
I wonder: Who exactly is Kei Miura and what are those mouse looking things coming out of the cars, on the ground? xD Some sort of charging device and cable?
The Car collection is out of the world and these valuable cars under one roof are a treat to watch. However, would love them to be driven. Thanks for the special access Shmee. Shquad!!!
All these “cars are made to be driven” comments simply don’t understand the mindset and idea of a collection. I have a collection of gundam figures (cost me over 50k to collect over 7 years), whereas I can display them, like what they are made for, but I prefer to keep them in the box they come in with. It’s more about having them than actually seeing them. Knowing they are all factory new condition brings me a certain satisfaction as a collector.
We do understand the idea of a collection. The pristine condition is definitely something we all can relate to and appreciate; it's simply the fact that cars have a purpose, and whilst many of us may never have the opportunity to even drive one of the standard super cars, seeing the legendary ones just sitting around is a (selfish) offense to us. In your model analogy, it is understandable that you could keep a model in its box (to preserve it and its value), but there is no function to a model like there is a car. I'll use my own example, I have amassed a collection of Jordan's and other various "hype beast" sneakers; granted I haven't spent 50k on them, I have spent at least 15k. Regardless, I have worn every single pair of shoes, because there is a function to them, they're meant to be worn, and so I have worn them. I think it all boils down to the supposed injustice of keeping them unused, when there is a purpose; hence the venting.
Moofinity well, the purpose of objects differ from each person's perspective. When you might see these cars as automobiles, this guy (might) think of them as appreciating assets/art pieces. Keeping them at mint condition helps ensure their value/his aesthetic, i mean this guy sells these cars, It's on his website. But do keep in mind that some cars really are not built solely for driving. Pagani is a good example of these. They literally had sold cars as art pieces to people as decorations. Tbh some of the car in this garage aren’t good driver's cars anyways, e.g. the contach. Someone as wealthy as this dude might not necessarily enjoy driving them anyways when there are other options, most of the time in the real world, crazy wealthy people don’t drive super/hyper cars (they do own some), they just get chauffeured around in their RRs.
谢昊天 Great response! I totally see where you’re coming from. Was hoping to give insight into the other side of the response! Envy is a dangerous thing, haha! Can’t even imagine being as rich as this collector! 🙂
+谢昊天 i too see where your coming from and your point. i just cant get past the fact that these are still cars and cars are meant to be driven. i do see that they are also assets n art pieces and driving them de values them but still, a car can still be driven and kept in mint condition.
I never forget when I saw the 288 GTO in Waterbury, CT. USA! I was so lucky to see the McLaren F1 in naked eye as well in Danbury, CT. It was both in 90’s but now you can only see those exotics in dealers or car shows not on the roads.... thanks for sharing!! Bye Mr.Miura even owns a Miura!!
It doesn't need to be. Its the owner who decides what to do. Don't whine like a generic so-called car enthusiast about these car needs to be used properly.
James F no he's not, lamborghini have a museum with all of their cars with 0miles on them. Does it mean that lamborghini do not respect their cars? If everyone used his f40 as a daily driver, there would be no f40 today
Cars are made to be Driven, that's quite literally the Definition of a Vehicle. I do understand that the Resell Value of a never Driven car is off the shards, but a car is made to be driven, even Enzo Ferrari would say that his cars are made to be driven not meant to stand around and possibly take damage from it, and yes, a car can be damaged from standing too long. Yes, it is the owners decision, but thats not what cars are build for.
Wound´t we all like to see these cars in the hands of the "Lambo-gang" just for 5 to 10 minutes. Great video, nice garage-kings. Have a good trip home.
Some people like to simply look at a car, a painting, a piano or anything that they are passionate about without actually using it. Just like a museum, you get to look but never touch. The man also knows how much profit he can make the day he decides to sell one of them.
Great video. More interesting than the whole of Goodwood haha Just too bad the owner doesn't drive so many of them. Smack on some PPF and have some fun!
It's 2019 & I have only just seen this, it has to be said, on the tube we have seen many collections. Many of them more valuable or more spectacular but this gentleman has "good taste" oozing big time. The American & Middle Eastern collectors could learn a whole lot from this...apart from the Koenigg. Gorgeous. Thanks Mr Mura
+SuperFunny Hahaha, let's start preserving clocks, bags, phones, wallets.....hmm......sewing machines.......clothes.......sunglasses. PS: Don't be so stupid. If you "preserve this for future generations", the most they'll see of these cars is behind 3 inches of bulletproof glass. Might as well take some photos and drive it like they were made to be.
Kronos Such backwards logic. Such a critical keyboard warrior. Some people choose to have doubles of cars and create their own art gallery/museum. Yes, automotive design is to be admired like art if you know anything about it.
+MrCarGuy20 Hahahahaha, oh look, it's Mr. I Just Hit Puberty And I'm Edgy. "Some people do this"? Really? Their representative, are you? Heh, such a kissass. xD PS: *backward (you'll learn conjugation in middle school soon)
Kronos You really want to criticize my grammar? The keyboard warrior strikes again. If you actually knew the grammar, you'd know both as established forms of the word in the English language. Sure, in countries other than the USA they may prefer to use "backward" as an adjective. Should I give a fuck? No. I follow correct grammar. Although when low IQ people like you try to act brilliant in the comments of a video by changing the subject to others' grammar (when their own is abysmal), it's a good sign they're unable to have a genuine conversation.
Sam Clements Glad to hear he has other cars that get driven but I think I'm right in thinking that the manufacturers preserve some models for that exact reason. In my opinion it's just a shame that they're not being used for what they were made for.
Bro there are collectors that drive their car around tracks very often.. Some even owning the tracks... But those type of collectors are just as rare as their cars
Amazing to see so many hypercars, build with the best aerodynamics for record breaking speeds, sitting still in a showroom for the rest of their lifes. They are build for the road or track, not for standing still in a showroom.
I think that’s the biggest waste tbh. Having a beautiful collection of cars and not having driven it since delivery, yes it’s nice to have it in such condition, but appreciate the car by having driven it a little, not just staring at it
freepieanchips You’re correct, many owners do this, and nobody is saying they have to drive them to hell and back, but to purchase such a piece of art and engineering to not even take the seat covers off .. I’d rather have not bought such a rarity if I hadn’t gotten to experience what the makers wanted for it
This is absolutely amazing. So much history in this collection. I hope these cars are never ever driven and remain as pristine pieces of art in a museum so that 100 years from now people can see them and enjoy them. Like a painting in a museum you can see the history in the styling and craftmanship of these Masterpieces of engineering, each in their own right and their own time.
@freepieanchips A true car guy/Petrol head wouldn't be able to resist driving them. I agree he can do whatever he wants with his money of course! It's just a selfish thing to do in my opinion - Keeping cars like that off the road and market for them to be enjoyed properly
I really enjoyed this video. I have seen the collection before, courtesy of Effspot, but you present the collection in a completely different way. It almost felt like I'd never seen the cars before. It reminds me of how much I love the top car channels on RUclips. Always a smile on my face when I see that a new video has just been uploaded. Great job.
Fantastic video Tim! Something about the F40LM just makes it look so incredibly perfect to me, and the yellow over red F40 looks like it's out of the Sultan of Brunei's collection. Great and unusual spec!
Shmee I’m LOVING your videos! The Gumball 3000 videos gave an amazing insight into the race, and also these types, you’ve taken the best out of the experiences you are able to participate in👏🏼 Keep it up Tim🙌🏻 Something to be proud of, a massive goal of mine is to be able to do videos like this🙏🏻
It was wonderful spending time with you Tim and I am very happy you had such a nice time in Japan and I look forward to seeing you again sometime soon!! これからもよろしくお願いします!
This garage literally is priceless. What a variety of rare cars. Beautiful
U sure bro?
Its the opposite of priceless. Priceless are things that don't have monetary values genius. People are priceless. Cars have prices.
This certainly makes you appreciate guys like Greg B who actually drive and use these cars for the purpose of which they are built
A stunning collection, and a wonderful way to present them; join me for a walkaround of Mr Miura's garages - some of the best in Japan! I'd like to thank him for his kind hospitality.
Tell him some subscribers are also who are greatful to him
Shmee150 Are you going to make a Gumball 3000 2018 movie?
The collections got to be worth at least 50 million
Did he have anything to do with the Lamborghini miura??? Or is the name some spectacular coincidence????
And thanks for finally explaining to me wtf an XJ15 is. I've seen only a few crap pictures of that, and assumed it was something to do with the XJ220, but found its not the best documented car built or even pictured.
Mr billionaire, are you gonna buy a LaFerrari
Very nice collection, but everytime you say, factory new, never driven, I cry a little...
TreflDzn the only thing this man sees in these cars are investments and that’s sad as fucc
and some of them will stay like that forever
Thex unfortunately
Wouter Verweij How is that sad?
freepieanchips negative man! Drive the car! Screw that automotive artwork crap, these cars scream to be driven!
Anyone else notice tears coming out of the headlights cause they dont get driven ?
Josh Lydiard drive those cars even a meter and they lose hundreds of thousands in value and their collectibility
If you have enough money to have all those cars you don't need the money you'd lose if you drove them.
Yeah it's a shame they are just collecting items. These cars are made to be driven and shound't just stand there as art. But anyway an absolute awesome car collection.
They are called collectors and in reality they are flippers
I completely agree but another point of view is that if we drive these cars, they might not survive a hundred years from now
So bad people don't drive with these cars! They need to be out and enjoy the drive
ColoradoStuff i think there should be both cause if u buy a car is to drive it, but there should be some in these conditiins to show in museums etc
Not driving a car because it might get wrecked is like not going outside because you may get attacked...
not if you have two of each cars
I'm sure he has some other exotic cars to drive around, those are his investment. Most of them are still in factory condition.
some guys buy them as investments so that they can resell later for high prices. those ferraris are worth millions.
am I the only one who doesnt like collections...? They have NEVER been driven, they are built to be driven, so it makes me actually feel quite sad..
It depends, you see both sides and clearly different people have different objectives
Some need to be preserved for future generations to see. Without this collection we would never have seen this video, think about it.
Im sure he own less special and limited supercars that he actually drives
Finally a collection with ALL my favourite cars together! First of all the 288 GTO and the F40 😉
That is an insane collection. I now get why those cars aren't driven. Once gas powered cars are gone, collections like this will be all we have left. Future generations have to be able to see these once they aren't allowed to be on the road again.

Not really, since most of those cars are garage queens and never get the action they deserve.
Bond wtf how do you watch literally every RUclipsr I watch
Absolutely breathtaking. I am 38 years old and still get very excited seeing these cars just epic.

That f50 is pure love...😍😘
Looks like there's quite a lot of money in Japan... and car passion... but also a lot of money XD
MWKi I don't see any passion here, he literally NEVER has driven many of them, and he owns them... That's just sad
Bitcoins? ROFL
You can love cars in more ways that just loving driving them... I get your point, but I also understand this collection
MWKi 👈☺👍
Some people like to simply look at a car, a painting, a piano or anything that they are passionate about without actually using it. Just like a museum, you get to look but never touch. The man also knows how much profit he can make the day he decides to sell one of them.
All is needed is a bed!! I'd gladly wake up to this collection with a big old smile😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
This is GTA V IRL. Nice.
ShadowDrift The garage that you never enter but keep all the best cars
At a third of the price.
Nah they would be on fire
Bunch of garage queens ....minds well call it an art gallery ...awesome!!!!
Shmee, did you know that the color on that LaFerrari is a one-off color called Rosso Shiro?
I think he had no idea what color it is so he didn’t mention it

WOW, what a collection
11:16 i was sure this was aftermarket/tuning like Masory and hated it. When he said it would be full spec original Ferrari i loved it .)
The yellow F40 is one of my dream cars. Good god it just makes your face melt.
Japan now?
I want to see you.
From Kyoto.
Your knowledge of each off the cars is quite impressive. Love it Tim
The white 512BB is a flat 12, not a V. Love ya Shmee
Its Not a real flat 12, it's nearly one but it's still a v12
Is kind of a 180° V12 isn't it?
Now that's a lovely collection of cars....!!! 😀👌
Love ur video s mate and when is 812 thought r coming g
That is insane!!! That those are brand new is mind bending
A well respected car collection 👏 just beautiful... but, where’s the GT-R Z-Tune??🤔
I love the Enzo more and more as the years go by!!
You would take the f50 wouldn’t you Tim?
Bugatti Lover lmao, same thing I said to myself. I was like, but almost everyone hates looking at the F50, they just like its sound it makes.
Wow, great collection, should be a museum :)
Garage queens. Such a disservice to cars like these.
Some of them have been driven, but most of them are still in the condition they were when they were delivered from factory.

Very nice! But what's the point if you're not going to drive them!?
Emily W investments as all of these have risen in value significantly, also just nice to have really in sure he has other v nice cars which are driven
Sam Clements Glad to hear he has other cars that get driven but I think I'm right in thinking that the manufacturers preserve some models for that exact reason. In my opinion it's just a shame that they're not being used for what they were made for.
Emily W I honestly get your point... but for Mr. Miura, it's an art collection.
MrTribalsun I understand that, and he's very lucky to have such pieces to look at.
Emily W I love cars. I wish it was my garage.I would let you drive that Enzo with 8000km.Slowly! 😁
The silver one NO!😂😎😁
That was the best supercar collection my eyes have ever seen, thank you Shmee !
Cars are meant to be driven not sit around
WOW - simply WOW - that man has a badass collection
Yawn, a collector who hasn't even sat in his own car... NEXT
Toronto Aviation some are like million dollar paintings. You just look at them.....
87plank they are cars. They should be driven. That was their only purpose. You can go look in the museum.
Ferraris favorite kind of owner if you what I mean ;)
Travis McGowan It's a museum... 😂 but it's his own museum. 🤑
Bro there are collectors that drive their car around tracks very often.. Some even owning the tracks... But those type of collectors are just as rare as their cars
Thank you Mr Miura.
What does the owner do??

You can't put a price on these out of the factory cars. Absolutely priceless & the Koenig! I never knew it existed until I watched this.
Cars should be driven not sitting in a garage with their factory seat covers. His collection is beautiful but truly a shame most are never driven.
Amazing to see so many hypercars, build with the best aerodynamics for record breaking speeds, sitting still in a showroom for the rest of their lifes. They are build for the road or track, not for standing still in a showroom.

That is car heaven. Great video
I’d rather have not bought such a rarity if I hadn’t gotten to experience what the makers wanted for it
Beautiful Car Collection!
Next addition to the collection will be Bugatti Divo.
Not a true petrol head to just buy amazing rare cars to not drive them. It's a shame really..
Sam Phillips He clearly has cars he drives and those he can afford to make in his own museum. Do with your money as you please.
@freepieanchips A true car guy/Petrol head wouldn't be able to resist driving them. I agree he can do whatever he wants with his money of course! It's just a selfish thing to do in my opinion - Keeping cars like that off the road and market for them to be enjoyed properly
Stunning Collection
for me it's a shame, cars never driven is useless and they are hidden ... shame on this guy!
maybe, but hiden in a personnal garage and at least not bring to meetings is a problem for me
Victor Achard For you. For Kei Miura, it isn't that big of a problem tbh
SuperFunnyGuy I think having personal favorite, mystery spec is find. Everone have their personal think don't need to show everyone everything
SuperFunnyGuy but most car manufacturers have museums that preserve perfect examples of these cars, so it's best that the owners enjoy theirs
thanks for the great video Shmee
Absolutely insane collection.
Omg.. What a collection :O
Crazy collection!
Lamborghini just produced the engines to be used for the F1 team.. but it was short lived. Awesome video, lots of great cars.
Amazing Car colletion to be honest.
This collection is insane
