It's not that bad, everything else on the PSP version is good except the graphics and a bit of a delay on the sound effects, but other than that, it's a good game.
It's because of both hardware limitations and a smaller screen (since it's a handheld). The hardware doesn't allow for pristine graphics, but the screen is small enough so that it doesn't matter.
Can we talk about how the game was built around the original idea that EVE would be the one injured by AUTO prior to the air lock disposal area and not Wall.E?
When i was a 5 y/o kid i used to play this game A LOT in my ps2, playing it all the day and everyday. God, everytime i made Wall-E die i felt so scared for the deaths, specially the dying from a high fall, that one made me cry as a kid. I even had nightmares with the deaths- i dont have the game anymore because sadly it stoped working like...8 years ago? I dont remember, but i still feel scared with these screens, i can feel Wall-E saying "why" to me with those eyes.
