well they mimicked dresses worn in the time period, so all you'd have to do is change the fabric and you're set! the patterns are available on many websites, and they aren't too hard to sew.

Exactly. I would look for a onesie, I mean it does keep in a lot of heat, but so many of them look so stupid I'd never wear them. I'd be too hard to look for one that doesn't look terrible. I normally wouldn't care, but sleepovers.

Seeing how this inaccurately portrayed my personal choices of pjs for the 90s, 2000s, and 2010s makes me wonder how equally inaccurate the choice in PJs might be assumed for the average woman throughout the decades.

I feel like in the 2010’s pretty much anything goes. I mean, yeah, there is a certain style. But whatever happened in the past hundred years I have seen all over LA. (Obviously here I’m not talking about pajamas specifically, even though I do see that a lot too.)

The Slayer. True. In the 80's they actually made beautiful lingerie of all types. It's so hard to find these days. I only know of 3 different places to shop for silk & lace underthings, bras, panties, slips, nighties, cami's, tap pants (yes I still love tap pants) but they're extremely expensive. Otherwise anything you can find such as cami's in even a high end dept store are plain and boring. 😞

Steffie183. Well don't doubt it just because the 10's were centered around the Kardashians & Hadid. 1st, satin men's style pajamas have been quite popular through the 10's and even in the 2000's. I own several sets just to lounge around the house in, but certainly wouldn't wear them to the freakin store or to lunch. Every decade is pretty much on point but you also have to keep in mind that the more expensive lingerie was bought and worn by women who could afford it. Not every woman could afford silk and it wasn't always practical. But....yes, each decade is pretty accurate. The bold prints of the 70's were horrendous but luckily the baby dolls were still popular and there was another really cute nightie that was popular during that era. Actually I'd love for that one particular nightie to come back, it's too hard to try to describe what it looked like but it was really flowy.
