What an enjoyable video! I really appreciate all of the hard work you do to take us along on your holiday prep and dinner. You have so much energy and motivation and are so devoted to creating a beautiful day and meal. I truly am in awe. Thank you!
Sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Lionel Boston Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
So happy to see you enjoy your Thanks giving, making memories and just loving on those fur babies!!!!! Thank you Kimmy for always being an inspiration to us. You are a gift .
I’m recovering from sinus surgery and decided to give myself a day off and start planning for the holidays. My four year old crawled up on the couch next to me and is so enthralled with watching you. 😊
I loved the whole video but hands down my favorite part was the sweet moment with Derek and you guys remembering to take the time to be in the moment together ❤
For my apple pie filling I put in a small layer of apples a good sprinkle of apple pie spice and tapioca to soak up any juice a tablespoon pop of sugar and a few daps of butter. I then pile on the rest of apples and repeat spices, etc.
Hello from Sunny Queensland, Australia. If you want to make a steam catcher for your slow cooker get a tea towel and put your lid on it and trim it down giving it a good 7.5 cm/3 inch leeway and sew a tight ring of elastic on it. So you will have a washable reusable steam cloth.
We just had our Thanksgiving meal yesterday as we're living in England and were only off for the weekend. My daughter was so excited when I got home from work on Friday and she had washed up from school because it was pie baking day! We've eaten Thanksgiving day all over again today and it's just been wonderful. We video called our family here and in Texas and it is feeling so like the magic of Christmas is close. Completely excited to hear you ending with let the holiday content begin! Woop woop! Blessings to you all!
We always cook our apples because they reduce in volume as they cook. If you have a lattice top over the uncooked apples, you typically end up with an air gap between the top and the filling.
I love cooking my ham in the slow cooker. A pizza cutter works great on cutting pie crust. Those pies look so good. I put that shrimp dip on my menu for Christmas. OMG your hubby knows how to cook a turkey. Thanks for the video.
Great video., thanks. I love making stuffing in my CrockPot. I use my casserole Crockpot and it turns out perfect. I just make sure I rotate the dish a couple times for even cooking since it cooks hotter on one side..
We use mayo but put it under the skin. It keeps the turkey breast so tender .Living in the south we fry our turkey's. I wish I could make your pretzel salad but no one in my family likes jello or pretzels. We normally make green bean casserole but this year we had corn casserole. It was awesome. I think it is now going to be a tradition.
Amazing watching u cook thanksgiving dinner. Loved how you made the red cabbage. The thurkey was also so interesting, never saw anyone cook a thurkey like that. Looked delish. Everything looked delish!
Such a great video Kimmy. Thanks for making it and sharing your family time with us. That turkey looked amazing and so did all your sides! I’m thankful for you.
What a nice family Thanksgiving you had. Got lots of warm fuzzy watching. It's almost midnight on Sunday and I'm finally able to finish watching this video and all your food looks so good! I'm now really hungry. God Bless!
We were in Mexico for Thanksgiving this year so I missed out on all the prep and cooking. Thanks for letting me follow along with you. I felt like I got a little of my traditional Thanksgiving back. I'm glad you had a lovely little family holiday.😍
I use bronze sugar and butte cinnamon and nutmegr in a pan melt then add the sliced apples turn gently for 3 mins add the whole thing to a blind backed bottom crust cover glaze the sprinkle lightly with more brown sugar
I'm Canadian and had my Thanksgiving, I really enjoyed watching yours, just like ours, much love happiness, lots of food, it was nice that your daughter was able to make it, my son was in Italy, and will be there for Christmas too, we were also missing others because of Covid, instead of having the regular 14 we were down to 4.
I hope one day you can show your step by step stuffing/dressing in the crock pot. Everything looks so good. On Friday I make Turkey gravy with rice. So good. And I also use the Swanson gravy in the can and add it to the leftover gravy.
Omg my dog used to sing too when we would sing to him who let the dogs out lol it’s the cutest HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I’ve always seasoned my turkey with mayo.
Lovely to see a thanksgiving dinner, we don't celebrate thanksgiving here in the UK, its Christmas thats the big "Turkey" day. Looks like you had a wonderful feast, thanks for sharing xx
Great video. I make compound butters with herbs. I buy the herbs on plants when in season. Clip them bare and make compound butters. I put them in the fridge until firm (in a log). When firm i cut them into tablespoon portions. Pop them in a freezer bag. Then I always have fresh herbs. 99% my recipes call for herbs and butter. For the others I just use dried.
I cook my apple pie with raw apples but I cut mine differently. I first core it and cut it into 8 pieces and then each slice I slice into tiny triangles. Everyone who has eaten it loves it and finds it easier to eat than when there are larger pieces in it
A lot of inspiration for your wonderful Thanksgiving glad you guys had a fab time good to see Callay and her husband spend some time with you all. I did deviled eggs for Halloween they went down a storm, will more than likely do them for Christmas here in the el topping the UK, the strawberry and pretzel looked yummy, many thanks, Guys. Julie United kingdom. xxx
I make homemade pies if bought crust is needed then oh well, crimp the edges as you normally would, put sugar and heavy cream on top, brush it around bake till golden.
What a feast!! Looks delicious and I’m sure it was. I’m glad I found you on RUclips. You have a lot of Interesting recipes, I will be trying some of them.
The lattice looks great! I was going to make a lattice this year but my pie dough was too delicate and crumbly to work with. Instead of peach pie I pivoted and made peach cobbler. Yesterday I made a turkey pot pie with a top crust only. It was delicious, tender, and flaky, but it was not beautiful. That’s what I get for making my own without a practice pie or two before the big day.
Kimmy - Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I am tickled that you still continue to use my turkey recipe :-) You did an amazing job for your family. We got our golden retriever last Christmas, his name is Gunner and he is such a wonderful puppy! My eldest daughter was married this year too so the holidays are a bit different. Thanksgiving with us and Christmas with his family. Times are changing with our offspring.
I always use raw apples in my pie...I like them tender crisp and when you use a cooked filling the fruit gets cooked twice and you lose more nutrition....I’m still waiting to see you make your own crust. It will be perfect. Love the lattice too. That’s my fav way. Apple is my fav.
I absolutely love your videos! I'm glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. Such pretty pies! My hubby and sons would not mind one bit if I made more pies. Apple is one of my favorites!
I put my apples in raw , not precooked thats what my mother did, so I do too .....love a good full apple pie with custard mmmmm all that food looks delicious you are such a good cook Kimmy 👌💖 hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving . God bless you all 🙏
I started to panic when I saw gravy on your list but no mashed potatoes...too many things to remember when making a list...looks like some yummy eats! Happy Thanksgiving.
Everything looked amazing! The apple pie turned out beautifully and you made that lattice crust look so easy! I've never done one so now I want to try🙂
Aww you look just as lovely as ever ! What an awesome way to kick off my morning.. I’m happy to see you & your family enjoyed this thanksgiving as usual 😊 super excited for all your upcoming Christmas videos wooo can’t wait 😃 🎄 peace be with you all !!

Hi Kimmy, I love your channel and you inspire me to clean and do alot of things when I feel lazy. Anyways I can my apple pie filling and it is delicious. My recipe is from the amish canning book and you cook the filling and add the raw apples and u just grab a quart anytime u want to make a quick pie, I also do it with peaches and berries.Have a blessed day.
I cut my apples in chunks and add 3 pears to a kilo...cut in chunks too..the pear will reduce to a pulp and thick while the apple will remain in chunks but it all comes togerher in 20m tops and people always asks why it's different and it due to the pears... I noticed derick poured out his brine water amount twice ...forgetting how many litres he was adding. IaI'massumingassuming...add Oregon and bay leaf on your potatoes whole different taste.. and a happy thanksgiving to you all too...oh my goodness excuse the errors it was 4am that I was watching this..I'll edit now..
I tried your pretzel salad for the first time this Thanksgiving and I thought my mom was going to fight me for the leftovers 🤣🤣 she had it for breakfast that next morning. It was a hit! Thanks for always sharing what you cook 🤎
Oh my word I guess im late to the party bc I've NEVER seen shrimp in a can!!! I wasn't sure if this was a northern thing but it im sure its 100% NOT .... I will be on the look out for this....the little things in life that excite you 🤣🤣🤣
My mom's Dutch apple pie is much like yours, only a little more sugar and one cup of sour cream. You've never eaten a more delicious apple pie! You should use the drippings from the turkey for your gravy. 😉
I love smoke tukery we do two each year. Your tregger grill is the same one as ours my husband wants a new one but will see though. Have replace a few parts on it. Have you had problems with it m your grill like the night before you're supposed to cook on it an the temperature thing broke on it. My husband got so upset at that. You have to try pork but on the grill just do a pull pork on it so yummy.
I saw that you were using a red Thatsa Bowl from Tupperware. As a Canadian Manager with Tupperware, that made my heart happy!! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Your videos inspire me to become a better housewife...I have a long way to go lol
Hi from Colorado. For my Apple pie, I have just started microwaving my sliced apples for 3 minutes. It really makes them super soft and delicious. You should give it a try. I sure enjoyed your Thanksgiving prep. God bless.
The love between you and deric happening in the kitchen, so beautiful. That there is relationship goals
Awesome video. The pile of clean dishes brings back memories for me. It's exhausting to host thanksgiving but also a lot of fun!
What an enjoyable video! I really appreciate all of the hard work you do to take us along on your holiday prep and dinner. You have so much energy and motivation and are so devoted to creating a beautiful day and meal. I truly am in awe. Thank you!

Love the song while you and Derrick are in the kitchen!! Beautiful Video..
Do the lattice and use mini cookie cutters to add leaves or Christmas holly to edges
Your grand fur babies are so adorable. Glad you had a blessed holiday. Have a blessed Sunday Kimmy and Fam💗
