Yes you can if you toggle the switch on the side of the Go Guitar Pro or the iRig HD 2 to "FX" instead of "thru". FX takes the processed signal from the app, Thru send the direct signal from the guitar unprocessed.
Can you still hear the guitar in your headphone even if it's plugged into an amplifier? I want to plug my in-ear headset for me to monitor the guitar sound lin live?
Question. I have it but I can’t heart anything on my headphones while I’m playing just what I record. Can you explain me to what I’m doing wrong! Thanks
Hello Liseth, thanks for watching and subscribing! Can you tell me what you are recording into? Garageband? Logic, any other app? Also, to hear what you are playing while recording, you need to have the side switch on "FX", headphones in the headphone output jack on the GoGuitar and ensure you have monitoring enabled within the recording software.
Very useful video, thank you very much! One simple (maybe stupid) question, if I may... Audio is only coming out from the phones output of the GOGuitarPRO? Or I can use the phone directly for audio? That would be fantastic as I have bluetooth phones connected to my phone, so wireless audio! Thanks..
Not a stupid question at all and thx for watching. Once the GoGuitar, (or any other audio deivce for that matter) is plugged into the ipad/iPhone, the audio Core drivers in iOS will be in use by that device, therefore you cant run wireless audio AND have audio out of the GoGuitar at the same time because the audio driver is in use by the GoGuitar already. I hope that answers it for you!
Thanks for watching! This is better than the irig 2 cause it’s got some onboard DSP, it’s more like the iRig HD 2 for features and it sounds just as good
Will this work if I connect it to my Roland drum kit and audacity on my Mac? Contemplating between buying this as a cheaper alternative or just spend a bit more on an audio interface.
The Pro is a USB interface which has 24 bit at 48khz analog to digital converter. It's all digital. The basic Go Guitar is essentially analog via the headphone input only. I had the basic model but it was very noisy and I sent it back. The Pro has way less noise and is on a par with IK Multimedia's iRig HD 2. To unlock all the effects go into settings and turn on debug mode.
Hi, I was given TC HELICON GO Solo as a gift, I'm trying it but I realized that by connecting it to both an android mobile phone and a computer with windows 10, I don't have headphones monitoring by connecting it to the device (I don't hear my voice live, but only the backing track). Using an application like SMULE and inserting the headset into the mobile phone, I hear my voice but with latency, while on the computer, using AUDACITY, my voice is not heard at all. Can I have some suggestions?
That’s a tough one, ideally you would use them tc helicon as a mobile interface and then just a usb interface for vocals and guitars to the computer. They have different purposes and combining them will not give the results you seek. If your going to be recording on your computer more than your phone, i would get a starter usb interface like the scarlett solo or behringer umc2.
honestly, I like them both. The advantage of the GoGuitar is the huge amount of settings with the app, which is FREE. With the iRig, Amplitube can cost alot of money when you buy the expansions. Functionality/hardware wise, they are very similar
dont think you can do that unless you send the amp signal out to the audio interface your recording the stream with as another audio source. can't be done on the same device though
@@DarkRoastRecording ah, it was too cheap to worry about. I actually got a second one and eventually broke it the same way. It’s not for people that move cables around a lot. The odds are you will accidentally bend it at some point. The leverage is working against the structure of the USB port itself. Basically you just have to be very ginger with the cable connection.
Depends on the features you're after. The free guitar Rack app is fully featured and free, while Amplitube costs money to unlock any worthy tones. Other than that they are identical.

Hi. Can I use this Device to take guitar online class through Skype? I mean to ask will this device send the guitar signal and my voice if I use a headphones with microphone to the Skype or zoom class?
So useful video! and I also had a single question.. does it included mini usb to type C cable? I am asking this question because I planning use it with my Ipad pro. Thanks!
Great video .. I was looking for a interface other then Irig hd2 because my cable has become so loose from using it ..😩..! Also why don’t they make a way to power it when your use it.. other then Ibridge I have to rely on the battery on your iPad or your phone past 4 1/2 five hours you’re dead.. I play festivals or eight hours so I have to use two iPads.. I’m also using bias Fx Guitar App .. Thanks again Chaz
I have this same problem. Thought about trying some double lightning adapter but there isn't anything like that. I think 2 ipads is the only way to go unless you use a laptop and plug it in
Also the usb socket on the irig is terrible. I'd say they need to upgrade it to a c type but they're terrible aswell. I'm about to purchase the irig pro as that has no shitty micro usb socket but im still left with the battery problem when using ipad
@@DarkRoastRecording It works on the older to moto G play I upgraded to another moto because of it. Got a 2022 moto stylus I'm trying with it sometime soon. Wish android would have had more amp sim apps by 2022 but Deplike is amazing
Thanks for your presentation. I am a beginner, I am glad that you like Deplike. Will it work with backing tracks function? I came across some troubles in using OTG plus sound card option as said by other RUclipsr. Listening to backing tracks in practising my guitar is far more important that connecting to recording or special effect function. Thank you.
to be honest, I use backing tracks on a different device, but yes the backing tracks works great, you just select the song you have saved on your device (can't be Spotify or RUclips streaming) and adjust the volume of you or the song to blend to your liking.
Does this interface work with BIAS FX2?
Thank you...Can you use Go-guitar for not what is intended to? like social media live stream perhaps.

No need external power for iphone?
no need to charge while using unless you have a very low battery
Have any Android users had success with this dueting on TikTok? I'm running into latency issues and wondering if this will help.
If I knew what "Dueting on TikTok" was, I might be able to help...sorry
Hi, which tuning machines, nut and tremolo does your "never goes out of tune" Jackson use?
Floyd Rose bridge, stock Jackson circa 2003 Japan tuners and lock nuts
Hi can it use for tonebrige app?
Yes you can
How does this compare to irig 2 ? Does this support irig and jam up ??
Thanks for watching! This is better than the irig 2 cause it’s got some onboard DSP, it’s more like the iRig HD 2 for features and it sounds just as good
@@DarkRoastRecording Thank you for the info. I was initially planning on an irig 2. So do you mean irig 2 has no onboard DSP?

Spend the money on an audio interface.
agreed, get a USB interface for computer systems.
Couldn't find Guitar Rack app on appstore?!
Will it work with Ipad Garageband ? Do you need Apple camera kit to have an alimentation or it's Ipad that do that through usb-c port ?
No need external power for iphone?
no extra power required :)
Can i connect my turntables with the mixer on it instead the guitare ?
For rec some scratchs ?
you could, but it will only come into the iRig in Mono, not stereo.

Hiw fragile is the usb port on the interface? I had an interface with this physical connection and it broke very quickly.

i dont think so, the camera will override the audio input and default to the cameras mic
So to use the app you have to have the interface?
I believe so

it won't send mic and guitar. For that you would need a 2 channel interface like a focus rite 2i2, solo, or a Behringer UMC2
Hi, tq for the video. I'm using Android 9. Will there be a latency
There will always be latency n android, but what device specifically? Most Samsung and pixel phones have good enough latency to be barely noticed
