Nicely explained Jimmy, the oil was black though compared with the colour mine usually is , but mine partially redeems itself on my 2.0 Vauxhall insomuch as the drainplug has a drilling and oil passages, just a couple of turns then I only have to wait a couple of minutes to drain it without getting it all down me .(That happens when I empty the drain can 😂😂) But the oil filter is in a stupid position at the oil pump and I have to watch out for it missing the little chute I made out of Baco foil and cardboard and going over the CV joint boot . .Ah well...😊😊
I've noticed on a lot of your videos you do a system update on your diagnostic tools and also explore the internet for various fault codes etc. My question is how do manage to get the internet and such a good signal when your out in the field ?
When you inject the "foam" into the tube will it not back fill due to pressure and get thru the valves into the cylinders ? Suppose as it's a foam when you start the engine it won't Lock the compression stroke ? Am I correct ??
If you use too much foam it can back fill into the engine and damage it. Thats why Jimmy sometimes let the engine idle when whe tube is too close to the cylinders.
Thanks Daniel suppose a 1/2 litre of liquid is 1 litre of foam, would probably take more volume to back up from behind the DPF to get into the Engine, the bubbles would compress anyway I suppose.
First time ever got fault codes DURING cleaning my DPF with a 2 part fluid ffs. Downside is you have to rev it to destruction twice. P2002(92) & P242F. 😭
2 Questions? 1) If I get dpf cleaner can I just pour it down the pressure sensor tube or is a pressure gun required? And if I were to do this say every 3 months would the require fewer regenerations and make the dpf last longer????Is that worth doing ? Thank you
It's because of you Jimmy I got myself the oil drain plug removal tool magnetic one last year. Game changer for sure.
I got one 2 😂

Hi, I bought a Topdon and it would not read my Van which is renault trafic 22 plate, do you know of any diagnostic that will? cheers
I'll just presume all brands of vans are Renault underneath !

The UK has extremely good data coverage.
