Pablo says he wrote this in the middle of the pandemic around Christmas when it should have been festive but people were losing loved ones left and right. He said he wrote this for people who feel like they have nothing to thank God for, in order to give them hope and comfort.

The "Kahit papalapit na ang inaabangan nila, na no'y pinatibok ang puso ko'ng ngayo'y nagyelo na" refers to the Christmas season. Pwede rin maka-relate yung mga OFW nating kababayan na nasa malayo twing Pasko, same feels.
Pablo use NYEBE as a metaphor for hardships, loneliness, emptiness, tears, longingnes, uncertainties and hopelessness. "Matutunaw din ang Nyebe" means "Everything will be okay in time" so Efra is right 💙
Yeah, we don't have snow here, just fcking fist-sized hale bombarding rooftops in areas in Baguio City. Oh and typhoons that seemingly compete with each other, getting more destructive as years pass by, devastating cities--and we get them only once a year if we're lucky (it's always twice or more)!
I think Nyebe/snow here is used to describe someone's longingness and hopelessness for someone/something. A hyperbole if my english is right. The line "Alam ko na hindi eto possible, pero bakit bumubuhos ang nyebe" literally translates to "I know it's impossible but why is snow falling heavily", snow is impossible in the Philippines being tropical however the feeling of loneliness and uncertainty the author is feeling is drowning and as cold as snow. Pablo's poetry translating to his music is unmatched. Such a genius.

This is one of my favorites songs from #SB19 it talks about the loneliness , hopelessness then hope and redemption. Like a light in the end of the tunnel when you've come to a dead end.

Nyebe is snow like what Waleska said. Though in spanish is nieve ...same pronunciation in Tagalog or Filipino. This sounds like a gospel song, its a song about loneliness and despair of longing for loved ones, of friends and families. Of being far from them. I can relate to this being in Australia and my family is in the Philippines. Made me cry a river first time i heard this song in their online concert last year. SB19's songs can really hit you hard and at the same time giving you some relief and comfort.
"Snowflakes" are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together[MAHALIMA].
As for me ,NYEBE is a song for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire. It is the time for home.

It's a wonderfully made visualizer. Though there's literally no snow in the whole MV, but the feelings potrayed in the song is as cold as it can be. Btw, MAPA is from the POV of from the child and NYEBE is from the POV of the OFW (overseas Filipino worker) parent who's longing for his child/loved ones. Pablo wrote this song during the height of the pandemic where many OFW parents where uncertain if they could still have the opportunity to see their families. Painful but at the same time comforting song.

Felip in one of his Radio interview round promotion for Rocksta he said he is exploring the possibility of writing Latin songs...maybe waleska's wish is being granted. i also want one though my Spanish is limited. I am a fan of Julio Iglesias and I still have his records up till now.
It's actually made as a worship song. Me and my sis, my mom, was so touched and got teary eyed when we realized that it is. And it was confirmed on the interviews.
Nyebe (snow) correlates to the feeling of coldness that loneliness brings, the feeling of depression, that is why there is no snow on the visualizer, it is likened to the chill of loneliness gives.
I have never cried so much. hearing this song over and over just makes me stop in the middle of the track and take a breather. This is a masterpiece. after MAPA this song is one of those where I have to pause. Masterpiece!

Btw, this can be a healing/comfort song to one, and a very sad song that slaps to another. Depending on what state of feeling you are at the moment, this song will definitely hit you in the heart. According to Pablo, it's a song for longingness, hopelessness, anxiety brought about by being fearful, uncertain, or even losing or missing someone in your life,... the feeling of you vs the world, the isolation (initially he also connected this to what we have been during the pandemic, where even the basic things like meet ups were prohibited). The lyrics "matutunaw din lahat ng nyebe" with direct translation "the snow will eventually melt", means all our worries, fears, anxiety will eventually pass. Them throughout on their own, alone, then being brought back together at the end scene, lovely smiling and jumping is a representation that the snow, the coldness, have melted.
If you were to ask me what's my fave out of those random scenes? It's the running faucet at the 1st chorus. That one representing how some of us lock ourselves in the bathroom and run the faucet to hide our cries. Hit me so hard.

There is a prediction in which the Earth will face a tremendous cold weather or winter which will give great impact to our lives. People will enter into extinction due to sickness from this wether conditions of the Earth. And if you see here it’s focused on nature.

They did want to see snow when they went to the US but the places it was snowing were too far from where they were. The visualizer is made of snippets from the stories, tiktoks, and posts everyone on the tour made along with some aesthetic shots.

For me it's for OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) song? Idk hahahah cause we know that in the PH never snow, and Pablo said before that they will release a song soon for OFW. NYEBE means SNOW
But the song was not written about SNOW literally. Pablo used NYEBE (SNOW) as his own definition of LONELINESS and UNCERTAINTY.
He said he felt LOST and HOPELESS at that certain point of his life during pandemic, their career as group feels like not going anywhere. He felt like giving up on their dreams but then because of his faith to God and because of the people who believed in them, he knew they can do better although sudden sadness hits hard.
Therefore, just like snow (sadness, hopelessness, uncertainty), it will eventually melt and totally be gone. But during those times all you have to do is to lean on with those people who can hug you while it's cold or be there for you while everything is not going well until it gets better.
This lyric video has English translation to the Tagalog lyrics. The message is so profound and visualized through the video and the lyrics.

I may not be entirely certain, but I believe that under a microscope, tears resemble snowflakes. It seems Pablo is using 'nyebe,' meaning snow, to poetically describe TEARS -an interesting play on words by Pablo. It makes sense based on the first line "Bakit ba 'di ko namalayang dumadampi na sa 'king mukha" ---- it describes TEARS.
