  • @CayleeG
    @CayleeG Год назад

    Happy dance. I love it. The circle is interesting in that turning it creates a bit of detail. Green is also one of my favourite colours.
    This particular green reminds me of appliances and telephones of my childhood. You're probably way too young to remember that, though. Yeesh, what were they thinking? Lol But as a colour I love it.
    The symmetry of the circle adds to the piece positively. Of course, I would have to maybe plunk a mandala in the middle. I've been making those since childhood and was taught when a brown man came to our art classes in gr 5.
    I'm sorry. I called him a brown man, but I can not remember his ethnic background. It was pertinent to the lesson historically, so it was likely a man from India.
    We were so very lucky to have had art classes right up into high school! Although art history was also part of the curriculum as we got older. No, I didn't go to public school, I went to a Catholic Montesorri type school. We were very progressive for the time and were very controversial.
    Anyway, bc I will never do swipes (maybe lol), I'm going to keep my eye out for your work, and if I can afford it, I'm in! I'm not so much worried about your prices, more the shipping. Isn't it wild right now! I do have a piece from Rinskes nature series, and it looks great in my living room.
    Like I've said, thank you for sharing your gift.

      Not a silly question. Mine did too, but within the hoop with the screw is another hoop which pops out when you loosen the screw. Thats the one I then use and I dispose of the outer hoop with the screw.

      Thank you for your reply Mark, I did wonder if that was the case! I have ordered a couple of hoops as your video has inspired me. I only started pouring about a month ago so this is a bit ambitious for me but I’ll see how it goes 😅
      Love your background music, the gentle meditation stuff, it’s so relaxing. Some artists use annoying music which spoils it for me 😂

    Mark which is better to pop the air bubbles a torch or a a heat gun?

    • @MarkJRatcliffeArt
      @MarkJRatcliffeArt  Год назад +1

      I use a torch (never used a heat gun). I think they both do the same job but a heat gun is used more with resin to get bubbles out and torches are used more in acrylic painting pours
