I think you get closer to being a jedi following philosophies/religions like Taoism or Budhism. These philosophies are abundantly represented in the star wars movies. And learning how to fight? Ah well, there are a lot of ways...
And they got all that from the Bible and added to it which makes it a false doctrine. Every religion has stolen from the Christian faith and Islam is a major copy of it and twisted by the devil and an evil man.
Jediism takes teachings from both of those beliefs. Fighting is actually not something they teach or pursue. You can learn martial arts on your own time.
While I appreciate your efforts, I must say taking a core part of the doctrine like "Jedi Believe," without proper attribution (it's from Temple of the Jedi Order, not from the Church of Jediism as implied), then speeding it up to chipmunk voice and setting it to the Cantina Band theme, doesn't seem like a fair presentation of the ideas therein.

Daniel didn't found the Jedi religion, he started his own branch after the religion had already been to developing and evolving for a solid 20 years or more.
The church of jediism is weak. Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion I gain strength. Through strength I gain power. Through power I gain Victory Through victory my chains are broken. The force shall set me free

Daniel Jones did not create the Jedi Religion nor is he even a major player within the Jedi community really. Frankly, his book is middle of the road. The church Mr Jones founded is a small part of the Jedi community and many of its policies are not well received by the longer standing members and Jedi groups out there.

I suppose that once the apprentice graduate, the master can take on a new apprentice? I never got that clear. Well, except for the sith, they usually kill their masters to become a real sith.

Hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. (Colossians 2:8)
Is Jediism a religion or a philosophy? To have a religion one needs a higher personal being. To believe in an abstract, impersonal force sounds more like a philosophy than religion. Jediism claiming not to be believe in some superior being par excellence prevents itself from being a religion. Even Buddhism who many claims is a religion believing in an impersonal force rather than god is actually a deviation of true Buddhism. The original Buddhism is actually a reformed version of Hinduism. Contrary to modern versions of Buddhism in the West, its origins shows it to be a set of practices to break free from the reincarnation wheel in this lifetime and to become one with Brahma, the creator god.
I think it is just a matter of use of words. In my opinion, it is a religion, because I think, the Force plays the same role as a god in any other religion. It's just a different name. I understand you, but with your argument, you are sort of trying to define a god. But there's no definition for a god
@@TheRealCATM Even in Buddhism there is the concept of nirvana where you become one with the all. The way Buddhism talks about the all sounds very much like if it is some unknown higher entity or being.

Kerms Revenge no, because there were no Gods in the Star Wars films. There was only the will of the Force, (or the Force’s true nature perhaps, assuming the Force isn’t sentient.)
Didn’t George Lucas found this religion? Wasn’t he the name behind ideas and ideology of the force? I mean don’t get me wrong I love Star Wars but isn’t viable as a religion it’s honestly ridiculous. See Christianity is the Jedi and Islam is the Sith it’s already been set in stone before he thought of it. If he read the Bible he’d know this but he wants his cake and eat it too.

Maybe there can be multiple gods in jediism: The Father, The Son, The Daughter, The Bendu, The Force Priestesses and The Chosen One

Yes, very true.
Wait if there is Jediism does that there is Sithism?
There is. But, because of its nature, its often filled with more edgelords than not. I can name on one hand all the true Sith I know.
